Apo Nena is a bucolic seaside Bed and Breakfast located in the Ilocos Region on the north western part of the island of Luzon in the Philippines.
The property sits beside an estuary where Suso River exits into the West Philippine sea , providing an ever changing scenery depending on the tide and season.
It is owned by the Reyes family of Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur and has been with the family for generations; they affectionately called the place 'Camp Hope'.
It is currently ran by a grandson of Benjamin and Nena Reyes who launched Apo Nena Bed and Breakfast in 2014 naming the business after his Lola Nena.
We at Apo Nena Bed and Breakfast aim to give visitors and guests a taste of what it was like spending time at our Lola Nena's house in the province. An experience
greatly treasured by multiple generations of our family to this day. Staying here, we hope to impart the simple serene comfort of staying in Lola Nena's house,
complete with the appreciation of the outdoors, sea breeze, friendly dogs, good food, with a few modern comforts thrown in.
When staying with us, you have the option of adding lunch and/or dinner meals where we feature our family's beloved recipes, Filipino dishes, and other specialties
of the region served family style; dishes not accessible to cafe visitors. This service allows diners to experience how families typically dine in the Philippines.
The café in the property was officially opened to the public in 2020 during the height of the Covid pandemic, but has quickly become a beloved spot to the Ilocanos throughout the province;
offering comforting dishes that features local favorites, as well as craveable dishes not commonly found in the region.

Terms and Conditions
- Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the rooms and bathrooms.
- Complimentary breakfasts can be availed only between 7:00-10:00AM.
- The kitchen opens at 7:00AM and closes at 7:00PM.
- Lunch and Dinner meals should be booked ahead of time. Inform our staff as early as possible if you will be dining with us.
- Bringing in meals from outside is prohibited.
- Check in/out time is 2:00PM/11:00AM repsectively.
- Visitors of staying guests are not allowed past Café area/hours (8:00AM - 7:00PM).
- Please keep your doors and windows closed as to avoid mosquitoes from entering your room.
- Guests are responsible for all their personal belongings.
- Please be considerate of other guests. Keep the noise down, especially at night. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.
- When borrowing items (books, board games, etc.), please return them properly and promptly after use.
- Guests will be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury they may cause or incur within the property.
- Guests will be charged for lost key/s. Please surrender your key/s upon check out.
- If with dogs: Apo Nena has its own dogs in the property, and are very well socialized. Guests will be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury their dogs may cause or incur.
- Gates will be closed at 8:00 PM for security purposes. Please inform us ahead of time if you will be outside the property past that time to facilitate your re-entry.
- Hostile, aggressive, and disrespectful behavior towards our staff, dogs, and other guests will not be tolerated! It will be grounds for immediate expulsion from the property -- payments and/or deposits will be forfeit.
- We accept walk-in guests, subject to availability of rooms.
- Walk-in guests will no longer be entertained past 5:00PM.
- Full payment is required upon check-in.
- Guests are REQUIRED to present valid IDs upon check-in (Driver’s License/Passport/etc.)
- Unannounced additional guests not included in original booking are not allowed, additional charges will apply.
- Check-in time is 2:00 PM / Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
- Early check-in is allowed if your room is already available. Early check-in charges MAY apply.
- Late check-out can be allowed subject to subsequent bookings. Late check-out charges MAY apply.
- We DO NOT HAVE 24-hour check-in/out. Please inform us of your Estimated time of Arrival/Departure (ETA/ETD) in advance. Early/Late Check-in/out charges MAY apply.
- Apo Nena Bed & Breakfast cannot accept responsibility/liability for bookings that could not be otherwise fulfilled due to events/situations beyond our control. Such events may include, but are not limited to civil unrest, natural disasters, weather conditions, transportation problems (transport strikes/road closures/etc.), pandemics, government policies, and other such events.
