Pachamama Home is a perfect guest house for Hikers in Colca Canyon. The owner, Ludwig, is a Peruvian trekking guide in Colca Canyon who believes the trails in the canyon are doable independently, therefore he has been dedicated to provide a trekking map and the best information for your hike if you are planing to go on your own. In the rooms Ludwig exhibits his photography that capture beautifully the views, culture and life in the Peru.
We offer in our hostel the most comfortable beds, hot shower 24/7, Wifi connection, good breakfast included, nice terrace to see the mountains, free luggage storage and a beautiful restaurant with good wood fire pizzas! 
Cabanaconde is the best place to acclimatize before the hiking into Colca Canyon, the views of Colca Canyon from the village edges is amazing and Cruz del Condor is only 15 minutes by bus from.
We enjoy to arrange some activities for our guests such as Biking, private visit to Mucurca Lagoon, Cruz del condor and geyser of Pinchollo, and to provide ideas for trekking around the village and in the canyon.

Terms and Conditions

We wish to provide you a great homely experience in Pachamama Home. To assist us in delivering you that experience we have developed the following policies and guidelines which we respectfully request that you adhere to before, during and after your stay.

Arrival and Departure

  • Check-in time is from 1:00 pm
  • Check-out time is prior to 10:00 am 
Although the reception is open from 6:30am to 10:00pm, we would appreciate your advising us if you expect to arrive after 6.00 pm. Rooms not occupied by 22:00 hours will be seen as No-Show
Guest registration forms must be signed on arrivals. Please present your ID card or Passport upon Check-in. By Law visitors must present personal documents for Hotel records. These documents will be scanned and returned. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Check out time is 10:00 hours. Please inform the reception if you wish to retain your room beyond this time. Extension will be given depending on availability. If the room is available, normal tariff will be charged. On failure of the Guest to vacate the room on expiry, the Hotel Management shall have the right to remove the Guest and his/her belongings from the room occupied by the Guest.

Rates and Accepted Payment Methods
Room rates are in USD. All services can be paid in USD, Euros or Soles. At the moment we accept only cash! There's not an ATM at Cabanaconde, please bring enough cash for your whole stay in Colca Canyon. Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Reservations Guarantee
To guarantee your reservation you will be asked for your credit card details.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you can cancel free of charge until 3 days before arrival. You will be charged the full cost of your stay if cancel in the 3 days before arrival.

Local Taxes
VAT of 18.00 % is not included and applicable for domestic guests.

Child or Children aged between 2 years and 11 years; “Infant” means a person under the age of 2 years; Children and Infants may not stay in any room without an Adult. Persons aged over 12 years will be charged Extra Person rates for each person. All room rates are based on two adults. Extra person charges will be charged on a Room Only basis, unless otherwise stated. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Gratuities and Service Charges
Tips and gratuities to our team members are at our guest’s discretion and we do not apply any compulsory service charges.

Personal Data Use
The Guest agrees and consents that Pachamama Home may process (photocopy/scan) his/her personal documents in order to register him/her as a guest of the Hotel.


We do not permit smoking within our guest rooms and smoking within enclosed public areas. There are outdoor areas throughout the property where smoking is permitted. A sanitisation fee of one additional night’s accommodation will be charged where smoking occurs within a guest room.

Pets and Animals
No pets and animals are allowed within our guest rooms.

Parking is located a few blocks away from the accommodation, a daily fee will be applied.

Luggage Storage
The Guest can store his/her luggage in the luggage room at the Guest's sole risk as to loss or damage from any cause.

Guest's Belongings
Guests are given a key upon registration and are particularly requested to lock the door of their rooms when going out or going to bed. A safety deposit is available at the reception. Pachamama Home will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss/or damage to the Guest's belongings from either the Hotel room or safe or any other part of the Hotel for any cause whatsoever, including theft.

Damage to Property
Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to Pachamama Home property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible. In case of damage caused to the Hotel by the Guest, the Guest is due to cover the cost of all damage caused to the Hotel.

Guest Complaints
Guests shall address all their complaints at the reception.
