Ryo Kan was born in 2017 to provide an exclusive space for travelers seeking a balance between comfort and unique services in Mexico City. We opened our doors in February 2018 with ten residences inspired by the models of the houses from the 8th century in Kyoto and customized with liana, inspired by Mayan architecture, as well as terrazzo stone and locally sourced oak wood. To achieve a perfect balance between tradition and modernity, we fuse the aesthetics and hospitality of the Japanese and Mexican cultures. Property and Cancelation Policies :
A credit card is only a means of guarantee. The cancellation of reservations by the user will not cause early cancellation fees, as long as it is done 48 hours prior to arrival. After that threshold, Ryo Kan will charge cancellation fees as compensation, which is equivalent to the amount for the first night's stay. This clause is not valid for reservations made with special rates or non-refundable reservations. In this case, the respective established conditions will apply.
For non-refundable reservations, the total amount of the reservation will be charged at the moment the reservation is made and in case of cancellation, it cannot be refunded.
In case of a "NO SHOW," the charge will be made for the first night of stay to the card that was given as a guarantee.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE RYO KAN COMPANY, S.A.P.I. DE C.V.
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the "Conditions General”) apply to the access, navigation, and/or use of the Website of www.ryokan.mx regarding the contracting and/or reservation by electronic means (“e-commerce”) for the purchase of services and products, (hereinafter the “Ryo Kan Site”), offered by the company called Ryo Kan, S.A.P.I. de C.V. (hereinafter “Ryo Kan”). The Ryo Kan Site operates with the provisions established in articles 76 BIS and 76 BIS I of the Federal Law of Consumer Protection and the NMX-COE-001-SCFI 2018. Any person who browses, accesses, registers, and/or uses the Ryo Kan Site (hereinafter the "User and/or Guest and/or Client") about contracting by
electronic, by that simple fact you accept and express your consent to submit to the present Conditions. Likewise, due to this fact, the User undertakes to review
periodically these General Conditions that are available for your consultation within the Ryo Kan Site to know the changes and/or modifications to them and, if they consider it appropriate, consent to them. Any User who does not accept these General Conditions, which are mandatory and binding, must refrain from using the Ryo Kan Site and the services offered and provided through it.
a) Any debit card through the Openpay and Paypal systems.The Ryo Kan Site is the exclusive property of Ryo Kan, therefore all visitors agree not to attempt to distribute, alter or modify any of its content. Any information or material that the User shares with Ryo Kan through the Ryo Site Kan is and will be treated as non-confidential information, except for the information that is personal in terms of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of the Individuals. Ryo Kan does not seek with the information contained in this site to offend any person, sector of the population, or government entity, since any image, information, animation, or video, among others, is included on this website solely to give know the services or products marketed by Ryo Kan. Ryo Kan does not discriminate against anyone based on religion, sexual orientation, economic and social situation or any other. Therefore, the information contained in
the Ryo Kan Site may not be construed as discriminatory in any way and Ryo Kan will not be responsible for different interpretations of what is indicated here.
Ryo Kan may modify, add and/or delete the content of these Conditions General, without the need for prior notice, beginning the validity of the changes from the time of its publication, are the sole responsibility of the User to ensure be aware of such modifications and if deemed appropriate, consent with the same. The fact that the User performs any act within the Ryo Kan Site related to contracting by electronic means shall be understood as an acceptance expressly to the modifications in regard.
CAPACITY.The content and services offered by the Ryo Kan Site are reserved and directed solely to people who have the legal capacity to contract, in terms of article 1789 of the Federal Civil Code and its correlatives to the other states of Mexico. The conduct of minors and people with legal incapacity who enter the Site Ryo Kan remains under the strict responsibility of the parents, guardians, or adults to whose position they are in, in terms of what was established in articles 1919, 1920, and 1921 of the Federal Civil Code and its correlatives to the other states of Mexico. AUTHORIZATION. Ryo Kan grants the User the non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable right to use the Ryo Kan Site to carry out any activities related to the contracting and/or reservation by electronic means by these General Conditions. The User may only print and/or copy any information contained or published in the Ryo Kan Site solely for his personal, non-commercial use. Reprinting, republication, distribution, assignment, sublicense, sale, reproduction electronic or use by any other means of any information, document, or graphic appearing on the Ryo Kan Site, in whole or in part, for any Non-commercial personal use is expressly prohibited unless RyoKan has granted the User prior written authorization. USER. To carry out any activities related to the contracting and/or reservation by electronic means within the Ryo Kan Site it is mandatory to complete the registration forms in all its fields. The User must complete the form with their information which must be exact, precise, and true (the"Personal Data"), and assumes the responsibility to update PersonalData when appropriate or when Ryo Kan requested it. Ryo Kan is NOT responsible for the accuracy, precisión, and veracity of the Personal Data of its Users, and will act in good faith solely based on them, for which the Users guarantee and are responsible, in any case, for the accuracy, veracity, and validity of your Personal Data. It is understood that the User has read, understood, and accepted all the General Conditions by browsing and clicking on "AcceptTerms and Conditions". Once the registration for the reservation or contracting services, the User is considered to have read, understood, and accepted the present General Conditions. RESERVATIONS. a. Reservation: The in-person reservation services and through the Ryo Kan Site have for reserving a room, for this reason, the User when using this service, fully and unreservedly accepts every one of the General Conditions and will be considered automatically incorporated into the contract that is subscribed with Ryo Kan, without the need for your written transcription therein. b. Contracting procedure: When using the Service, the user will receive an email confirmation which will include confirmation that your purchase order has been in the confirmation process. If you are a consumer, once the charge corresponds to your reservation, you will receive an email confirming it, this mail serves as proof of your reservation. The credit card used to book must correspond to the guest staying at the establishment. The credit card used in the reservation will be requested upon arrival to verify that the data provided is correct. The cardholder must be present at that time. c. Guarantee: The reservation is confirmed and guaranteed with a credit card. In case of a no-show at Ryo Kan without prior notice, the first night(VAT and taxes included) will be charged to the registered credit card. Ryo Kan reserves the right to check the validity of the card before the client arrives at Ryo Kan and can be done in two ways: either through the prior authorization or by charging an amount that does not exceed the price of the first night of the reservation. The return or refund period depends entirely on the cardholder, therefore, Ryo Kan does not assume any responsibility for any possible delay. To clarify doubts, a prior authorization temporarily withholds or “freezes” a certain amount of the client's account to verify the validity of the card or the existence of funds. If the above transactions cannot be processed, it will be considered that the credit card is invalid. In this case, the booking will be automatically canceled. d. Cancellation of the reservation: The credit card is only a means of guarantee. The cancellation of reservations by the user will not cause cancellation fees in advance, as long as, as it is done 48 hours before arrival. After that threshold, Ryo Kan will collect as compensation the costs of cancellation, which will amount to the equivalent of the first night of stay. This clause is not valid for reservations made with special rates or reservations not refundable. In this case, the respective established conditions will apply. Room Assignment: In the reservation, the user must identify the type of room with the understanding that there are only 2(two) rooms per category, Ryo Kan must assign the best available room to the guest. In case of not having available rooms of the category contracted by the Guest, Ryo Kan must assign a room with similar characteristics, having the express acceptance of the Guest. f. Rates: The Rates will be displayed on the Ryo Kan Site. TheGuest upon confirming the reservation expresses his agreement with them. When there are justifiable reasons, Ryo Kan reserves the right to modify these rates without prior notice. The corresponding applicable taxes are applied to the rates, without prejudice to the fact that additional taxes are also applied by current local regulations. CHECK IN. Check-In time is after 3:00 p.m. The Guest undertakes to use the services by the Law, morality, good customs, and public order, as well as with the provisions of these General Contract Conditions.Consequently, you are obliged to not use the services for illicit purposes or effects and/or contrary to what is established in these General Conditions or in any way that may damage the services, Ryo Kan, and/or its image. CHECK-OUT. Check-out time is at noon maximum. All those services enjoyed by the Guest during their stay at Ryo Kan and that were not included in the initial price of the reservation of the room they contracted, will be considered as an additional expense (including, but not limited to, acquisition of minibar products, etc.)hereinafter the "Additional Expenses"). If the Guest has incurred additional expenses not known to Ryo Kan at the time of accepting the Check -out, Ryo Kan will proceed to issue a new cost to the Guest to collect these additional Expenses. The Guest authorizes Ryo Kan to collect any Additional Expenses at the time of Check Out. By accepting these General Conditions, the Guest expressly authorizes Ryo Kan to automatically charge for the provision of its services, for which it may use the bank card details provided by the Guest at the reservation. Ryo Kan will inform the Guest about the exact amount that will be charged before making the payment.
Ryo Kan will store the details of the Guest's credit card for the period necessary to verify that the Additional Expenses that the guest may have incurred, after having checked out, are fully covered. Once Ryo Kanhas verified that the user paid for all the services enjoyed, Ryo Kan will delete when appropriate under compliance with the enforceable legal obligations, all the user's bank card data. In this way, if the user hired the services of Ryo Kan again, he would have to provide his bank details again. CANCELLATION POLICIES. a. Reservations will not have any cancellation charge if they are made before 72 hours of the guest's arrival. b. In case of a "NO SHOW," the charge will be made for the first night of the stay to the card that was provided as a guarantee. PROCUREMENT OF SERVICES (EXPERIENCES) AND PRODUCTS. RyoKan will publish the products, Experiences, and the price of each of them on the Ryo Kan Site, in addition to indicating the total that the Client must pay for them. The products and experiences listed in the Ryo Kan online store are offered with the specifications indicated in each of them at the time of purchase. To make the purchase, the Client must enter the Ryo Kan Site and select the products of interest, having to fill out a form in which some personal information will be required, including an e-mail to contact the client during the purchase process. The products and/or experiences selected by the Client will be included in the "shopping cart". At the end of the selection of products, the consumer must press the "reserve" and/or"Buy" button to access the summary page of the order in which he can identify the price, description, and quantity of the selected products and or services, correct or modify the purchase. At the end of the order summary page, the consumer must select the payment method, either through OPENPAY or PAYPALso that Ryo Kan can process the purchase of the order. Once this procedure is finished, Ryo Kan will notify the Client of the order confirmation of the products through an e-mail to the e-mail address registered by the guest. It also will be indicated if they have any promotion and/or discount and the validity of the same, as well as the means enabled to settle the payment of said products or experiences. There will be no contract between the Client and Ryo Kan about any product or experience until their order has been confirmed by Ryo Kan and the payment of the corresponding price has been credited by RyoKan. If the Customer chooses to purchase a product or experience, the order or reservation number assigned when making the transaction on the Ryo Kan Site will be generated. Payments by credit and/or debit card is secure. The entire transaction is carried out encrypted through a bank validation server using the OPENPAY and PAYPAL protocol certified in PCI-DSS1 bank grade; so your credit card number and expiration date are instantly encrypted on your computer before being sent. The Client acknowledges and agrees to pay Ryo Kan the full amount of the products or services before the Client receives them. The authorization process for payment by credit or debit card may be carried out within a period not exceeding 3 (three) business days from the date on which the consumer provides the information of his credit or debit card. If the Client wishes to invoice his purchase and did not indicate invoice information from the web page, then must send an email (during the current month of the purchase or contracting the service) to the address mentioned below, indicating RFC, address prosecutor, email and contact telephone number: • facturacion@ryokan.mx DISCLAIMER FOR SERVICES CALLED “EXPERIENCES”. A professional should always beconsulted for any type of question about medical conditions or treatments. Forthis reason, the Client undertakes before any "EXPERIENCE" toinform the Ryo Kan staff of any condition or allergy that could affect theperformance of the services, which by their nature may use essences, body oils,or including having physical contact with the Client and this could generate abodily reaction that could put the Client's health at risk. In this same actand with the acceptance of these General Conditions, the Client releases RyoKan from any responsibility for the omission of said information and undertakesto remove in peace and harmless from any responsibility that Ryo Kan may haveby the realization of the services called “EXPERIENCES”. For SPAtherapeutic services, the Client expressly authorizes Ryo Kan's authorizedpersonnel to carry out this service (Therapists) to have physical contact withhim, solely and exclusively for the execution of the therapeutic service. RyoKan or authorized personnel reserves the right not to provide the service before or during the "EXPERIENCE", if it detects, visualizes, orconsiders that the Client's health is put at risk in any way. If the Customer before or during the "EXPERIENCE" has a verbal orphysical behavior of a sexual nature, which has the purpose or produces theeffect of violating the dignity of the staff, Ryo Kan may not provide or willsuspend the service, expelled the Client from the facilities and to take themeasures it deems necessary to safeguard the integrity of all Ryo Kanpersonnel. MEALS. The Guest will be able to enjoy a Continental Breakfastduring their stay and it is served daily from 8:30 am to 11:00 am. Additionalmenus for an extra cost. PARKING. The Ryo Kan Guest rate will be $150.00MXN per dayper car, non-commissionable VAT included. CONSERVATION OF DATA. The personaldata provided will be kept during the contractual relationship and, once it hasended, during the limitation period of the legal actions that may derive fromit. About the data for sending commercial communications, the datawill be kept as long as the user does not revoke the consent given. However, ifyou take back your consent, this will not affect the legality of the treatmentscarried out previously. CORRECT USE OF THE CONTENTS OF THE WEBSITE BY THE USER.The User undertakes to use the Ryo Kan Site appropriately, correctly, andlawfully and, in particular, undertakes to refrain from:

Ryo Kan reserves the right to cancelthe reservation or suspend the services provided to Users and deny any accessto any interface of the Ryo Kan Site or outside of it, upon suspicion ofnon-compliance with these General Conditions. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. The use that the User makes of theRyo Kan Site is at their own risk. Neither Ryo Kan nor any of its employees,officers, directors, or agents, nor any other party involved in the creation,production, or distribution of the Ryo Kan Site shall be liable for any direct,indirect, special, consequential, or other damages resulting from the use ofthe Content on the Ryo Kan Site, or the inability to use it, including damagescaused by viruses, inaccuracies, incomplete information of the Ryo Kan Site, orthe performance of the products, or any other damages arising out of or aboutthese General Conditions. COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. The Userexpressly acknowledges that the Information contained in the Ryo Kan Site, aswell as programs, databases, networks, and files that allow the User to access,navigate and make purchases, are the exclusive property of Ryo Kan. Theimproper use and total or partial reproduction of said contents are prohibited.The Ryo kan Site may contain links to other websites which do not indicate thatthey are owned or operated by Ryo Kan. Because Ryo Kan has no control over suchsites, it will NOT be responsible for the contents, materials, actions, and/orservices provided by them, nor for damages or losses caused by the use of them,whether caused directly or indirectly. . The presence of links to otherwebsites does not imply a partnership, relationship, approval or endorsement byRyo Kan of said sites and their contents. The User acknowledges that he has notacquired, nor does he acquire, nor will he acquire any type of right orinterest in the Information contained in the Ryo Kan Site to which he had, has,or will have access, because it is and will only be used for the strictcompliance with these General Conditions and/or the respective compliance withthe commercial agreements that both parties agree to by the specifications andinformation provided for this purpose. SYSTEM FAILURES. Ryo Kan is not responsible for any damage, orloss to the User caused by failures in the system, on the server, or on theInternet. Nor will Ryo Kan be responsible for any virus that could infect theUser's equipment as a result of accessing, using, or examining its website oras a result of any transfer of data, files, images, text, or audio containedtherein. Users may NOT impute any responsibility or demand payment for lostprofits due to damages resulting from technical difficulties or failures in thesystems or on the Internet. Ryo Kan does not guarantee continuous oruninterrupted access and use of its Ryo Kan Site. The system may eventually beunavailable due to technical difficulties or Internet failures or for any othercircumstance beyond Ryo Kan's control; In such cases, efforts will be made torestore it as quickly as possible without any type of responsibility beingimputed for this. Ryo Kan will not be responsible for any errors or omissionscontained on its website. Likewise, Ryo Kan informs the User that to providesecurity and confidentiality to the information they provide, the availabletechnical elements used by Ryo Kan are the following:
