Property Information

Our family is pleased to include the historic Narragansett Inn to our offerings. Located in New Harbor next to the Boat Basin and at the end of Payne’s Dock, the Narragansett is truly a step back in time to 1912. While untouched by major renovations, the Main Building and the Annex still retain much of their original charm and attract guests year after year. Rooms feature a combination of private and shared baths (dormitory-style). The spacious lawn over-looking the Great Salt Pond is the perfect location for a sunset beverage.

Check-in/Check-out Policies

This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies:

Check-In: 3:00 PM

Check-Out: 11:00 AM

Property and Cancelation Policies :
All stays must be pre-paid in full at the time of reservation.
We accept Visa, Master, and Discover cards – no American Express.
All cancellations are charged a fee of 10% of the reservation amount and must be made at least 15 days prior to arrival.
In the fourteen days immediately prior to arrival the full reservation cost is NON-REFUNDABLE and no changes are permitted to the reservation.
No credits or refunds will be given for early departures or no shows.
The Montauk, New London, Newport, and Point Judith high speed ferries tend to cancel more frequently. Please be aware that as long as the Traditional Point Judith Ferry runs and the New England Airlines fly, you are still responsible to honor your reservation.
Please be aware that the ferry schedule is much more limited after Labor Day. If you have made a hotel reservation after these boats are no longer running, you are still expected to find your way to the island.
If you need to make a change to your reservations, please let us know.
There is no “fee” for changing, but if your change results in a credit to your credit card, there will be a 10% cancellation fee assessed on the credit amount.
Any changes made MUST still meet minimum night requirements (Most weekends or holidays require at least a 3 night minimum stay as well as any stay in July or August on week days is a 2 night minimum).
Because of credit card regulations, all cancellations for reservations within two weeks of arrival must be received in writing.
Please be sure to note your confirmation number and your name.
If you have booked through an on-line reservation service (i.e. Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com, etc.), you will need to cancel directly through that service.
They will then notify us in writing of your cancellation.
For group reservations (eight rooms or more), advance notice of six weeks is required for multiple cancellations or changes to the reservations.
