Villa Eshta is a hostel made by travelers, for travelers! We are perfectly located in the heart of the very animated Calle Loiza, the upcoming avenue in San Juan. It’s famous for its unique combination of local and international vibes, full of bars, thrift stores, restaurants, clubs, dancing bars and even after-party spots. Across from the hostel we have a 24h pharmacy, a landmark bakery Kasalta, and a famous pizzeria.
We are exactly two blocks from the sands of Ocean Park Beach which is a local beach full of ice-cream, jelly-shots, empanadas, beer and water vendors.
All rooms and Dorms include: Fresh linen and a Complimentary bath towel, High speed internet, AC, Lockers in the dorms (you must bring your own padlock),
Now imagine yourself hanging-out on our outdoor patio in enchanted Puerto Rico, a minute away from the beach, drinking an aged Rum, eating some hummus and falafels, smoking a delicious local cigar, while listening to classical French music before heading to a salsa party!!

Terms and Conditions
- Check-in is between 15:30 PM and 22:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. We do not offer Late check-outs, except upon request and availability. Oversight will be charged a $20 fine. It may be possible to accommodate early check-ins if arranged in advance. Please communicate your needs with us
- For guests checking out early, please leave your keys in the designated return box. Lost keys will be charged $15 PER lost key.
- A copy of your photo ID, and COVID VAX card, or negative PCR test to be updated weekly, (and all the guests in your party) must be received electronically at villaeshtabooking@gmail.com by 22:00 (when our reception closes) on your check-in date. If the ID's are not received, this will result in a cancelled reservation and a cancellation fee will apply (Full amount of the reservation).
- Debit card payments require a $50 hold in the event of a late check-out and/or lost keys. The hold will be released upon check-out at 11:00 and returned keys.
- No Shows and cancelled reservations within 48 hours of your check-in date are non-refundable.
- Cash payments will not be accepted.
- Please be respectful to the other guests and keep noise minimal before 8:00 AM and after 22:00 PM.
- Outside visitors are permitted at the hostel between the hours of 8:00 AM and 22:00 PM, strictly in the outside communal areas. Guests in the Private Apartment are allowed visitors inside their apartment. All visitors must be signed in at the reception and provide a copy of their photo ID. Please note that visitors are not allowed in the Dorms, Private Rooms. Any guest caught with an outside visitor(s) in their room will be issued an automatic $100 fine.
- Food and alcoholic beverages are not to be consumed inside the Dorms NOR Private Rooms. Guests in the Private Apartments are allowed alcohol and food inside their apartment. For hygiene reasons and for the comfort of the other guests, please consume food in one of the shared communal areas. Please note that any damage of the property due to alcohol intoxication will be issued an automatic $100 fine (or more depending on the damage).
- Smoking and Vaporizing is NOT permitted indoors. Smoking is only permitted in the designated area on the patio. Please use the ashtrays provided. Any smoking inside the room will be charged anautomatic $100 cleaning fee.
- Guests are to sleep and use their allocated bed ONLY in the Dorms. Any guest use of unoccupied beds will be charged an automatic $50 fine. Please be considerate to the other guests and do not sit or place belongings on other people's beds. Upon check-out, guests are required to remove their sheets and place them along with the towel provided in the designated laundry bin.
- Guests are responsible for the safety of their own belongings. Lockers are available in the Dorms and you must bring your own lock.
- This facility is not equipped to host toddlers, babies, or unaccompanied minors. Parents or guardians will be held responsible for any injuries that may occur to toddlers, babies, and minors.
- Misconduct & disrespectful behavior towards other guests or the staff will not be tolerated. The Hostel Management reserves the right to evict guests without refund in the event of misbehavior or breach of this agreement.
