Property and Cancelation Policies :
DEPOSIT & RESERVATION POLICY:
- A 30% deposit payment is charged at the time of booking. The balance and extras will be settled on check-out.
- We accept bank deposits, credit-card payments (Visa, American Express, Mastercard), debit card payments, Paypal or cash.
- A pre-reservation is made when we receive you reservation via our direct booking engine or when we receive written acceptable of your booking details and terms. If we do not receive the Pre-Payment Deposit within 36 hours, the hotel has the right to cancel your pre-reservation and release the rooms up for sale.
- A reservation is only 100% guaranteed after receipt of a deposit or full payment which must be received as soon as possible after making the original booking.
- Last minute bookings are accepted depending on availability, but we highly recommend to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
- All reservations must include full names, passport information and email addresses of all adults occupying the room.
- Our room rates are always awesome, and they are subject to change based on availability, high/low season, and special discounts.
- Our accommodation rates are exclusive of Ecuadorian Tax. Foreigners are exempt of IVA on accommodation only. Food, drinks, and activities prices are exclusive of taxes and this will be added to your bill.
- Please remember we are a small business, and our reservation team is open during business hours only (although staff are available 24 hours for any emergency).
Please carefully read our cancellation policy. Rarely can we make any exceptions to this. Our receptionists are instructed to follow this policy and rules. So to save any misunderstanding we would be grateful if you can observe the following:
- Guests can cancel free of charge up to 3 days (72 hours) before arrival. Banking and credit/debit card fees cannot be returned.
- A charge of 30% of the total reservation will be charged if canceled less than 3 days (72 hours) in advance. Sorry to be so strict, but most reservations are made in advance so it will be difficult to fill up your space at last minute. Bear in mind we also purchase food and supplies in advance based on the number of expected guests.
- In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of booking.
- If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occur are charged a 50% cancellation fee.
- There is only one way in which we can acknowledge cancellation of the guests reservation; the guest must send a cancellation request stating the reservation number via email to the following address: info@llullullama.com
- Our cancellation policy is effective regardless of the motive of the cancellation. Note that there are no refunds for missed meals (breakfast or dinner).
- A date change can be made with minimum 5 days’ notice and is subject to availability.
Terms and Conditions
PROPERTY POLICIES:
Non-smoking: Llullu Llama Mountain Lodge is a non-smoking property. No smoking is allowed inside rooms, on private terraces/balconies, lounges, and indoor areas, as well as the outside common round terrace. We have a designated smoking area outside for smokers. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems. Any smoking inside the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointing look and a $50 extra cleaning fine.
Children: Children under the age of 8 stay free of charge. A valid photo ID is required upon check-in. Children must be supervised at all times.
Pets: Are we pet friendly? You bet! A maximum of two pets are allowed in a Garden Cottage at an extra charge of $5 per pet per night. Please make sure your furry friends do their business outside our property and stay on a leash when outside the room. No pets are allowed in the Spa area. Pets cannot be left unattended in rooms at any time. Pets are only accepted inside the Garden Cottages (no other rooms).
Damages: We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old school rule of ¨you break it, you buy it¨ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card. Please do not steal our towels, linen, or decorations. If you want to purchase anything, please ask at the reception desk. Pre-existing damaged or room issues must be reported to the front desk to avoid responsibility and potential charges. We will try to put things right as soon as we can!
Quiet Time: Sing your heart out and have passionate conversations all day long, but from 22h00 to 07h00 the whole property goes into hush mode for what we like to call quiet time (or sleep time).
Parking: Guests are allowed to park their car on our property or in front of the lodge. Free of charge.
Alcohol: Good news – we have a bar! This means, by law, we can´t allow any alcohol to be brought onto our property. To uphold this law, we require all beverages on the property, including the pool, be purchased through the lodge, except for transparent, see-through water bottles. Guests must purchase beer and wine in the bar area, then, if you like, you can head back to your room (or the Spa) to enjoy. Cheers!
Risk Acknowledgement & Waiver: While undertaking activities during your stay at Llullu Llama Mountain Lodge, you acknowledge that there is an element of risk in any adventure, activity, or sport in the outdoors. These inherent risks include, but are not limited to:
- Danger caused by forces of nature including earthquakes, landslides and volcanic eruptions
- Risk of injury or accident resulting from hiking in the area on or off trails, walking on bridges, trails or stairways, or rock climbing
- Risk of injury or illness in remote places with limited medical facilities
- Danger caused by altitude
- Risk of accident in travel by automobile, horse, truck, bus, milk truck, mountain bike or other conveyance or on foot
- Risk of injury associated with force majeure or acts of providence such as wars, internal commotion, protests / strikes, fire, explosion, public authority decisions, or any other extreme circumstances
- Transport, tours, activities and guide services on the Quilotoa Loop are mostly operated by local people. Llullu Llama can help you coordinate and contract these services with local providers, however Llullu Llama Mountain Lodge cannot be held responsible for service level, safety measures nor for any injuries or risks that evolve from these activities and services.
- For our Yoga sessions we employ certified yoga instructors only, and the hotel assumes no responsibility for any personal bodily injury incurred while attending our yoga sessions. If you attend a yoga session, you do so at your own risk.
