Located in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, 40 minutes from Minca, it is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the biodiversity of the area. You can stroll around to discover the most beautiful things the Sierra Nevada has to offer or simply appreciate our breathtaking views of the jungle and the sunset over the Caribbean Sea from one of our hammocks while sipping a cup of our local coffee.
How to get here
From the airport
From the Santa Marta airport, you can take a bus or cab to downtown Santa Marta. You can also take a cab that will take you directly to Minca, but you will not be able to go further, as only off-road vehicles can reach Mano Verde.
From downtown Santa Marta
To get to Minca from Santa Marta you can take a collective minibus from the central market, a mototaxi or a cab. It will take between 40 minutes and an hour to get to Minca.
From Minca
Once in Minca, you will have to meet the mototaxis at the cab ranks. They know the way and are used to driving with large backpacks strapped to the motorcycle. It will take you about 40 minutes. You can also find a 4x4 car to get here, with capacity for 4 - 5 people.

- The only way to get to Mano Verde is to go to Minca first. All other roads are private or dangerous and the mototaxis from Minca are the only ones who know the way to our hostel.
