Thank you for considering our place. This is a beautiful property - a luxurious townhouse in a great location in Dingle town. There are 4 en-suite rooms in total - the rear 2 king size rooms have harbour views & the 2 front rooms are large super-king rooms. All of the beds are really comfy! As well as beautiful bedrooms; a large light filled open plan dining / living room opens out onto a patio area and a very large garden. The garden is completely enclosed by the original stone walls - creating a private space in the centre of town - and backs onto the Díseart chapel & grounds. Indeed the chapel's famous Harry Clarke windows overlook the bottom of the garden.We're always more than happy to give you any tips/ advice on places to see. You can have breakfast & relax in the large open plan living / dining room.This light filled room opens out onto a limestone patio area and a very large private garden.
The neighbourhood - Dingle is quite simply one of the best places in Ireland - to live and visit. The area is steeped in history, culture, music and tradition. You will be perfectly located right next to some of the best restaurants and pubs in Kerry... and beyond! In Oct 2016, TripAdvisor listed the top 10 restaurants in Ireland - 3 of them are in Dingle. Enjoy!

Other things to note - This property is one of the oldest in Dingle. It is approximately 200 years old and in its time was considered one of the most impressive homes in the town. The property has an interesting past.... As well as once being the magistrate’s home, it belonged to a lady called Clarisss Hussey, a member of a local wealthy land-owning family. In 1860 Clarissa, a pious Catholic donated money to build the iconic church in Dingle - St. Mary's. Clarissa is buried under the floor of the church - you can see her grave marked by a plaque on either wall at the front.We aim to run the house as sustainably as possible. A wood pellet stove creates a cosy atmosphere in the open plan living area. This along with a thermodynamic system provides plenty of hot water and heating. We also make every effort to use natural cleaning products throughout the house. Oh and we source local food as much as possible.
