Borchers AuSable Canoe Livery with Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Grayling, Michigan on the beautiful AuSable River. We offer a wide variety of AuSable River canoe and kayak trips, our riverside Bed & Breakfast, and our “boathouse” shop, featuring AuSable River t-shirts, sweatshirts and other goodies. While our AuSable River trips are seasonal: from early spring to late fall, our Bed & Breakfast is open year ’round. Guests enjoy summer getaways, fall color tours, cross country skiing, golf, fly fishing, and the many other outdoor recreational opportunities offered in northern Michigan. Grayling, Michigan is a central location to explore the Northern Mitten coast to coast. We're thrilled you have chosen to stay with us at Borchers Riverside Bed & Breakfast. Please note, we do not staff our front desk 24/7. We live on the property, but in a building separate from the Inn. During the summer months, we can typically be found in the canoe & kayak rental office just down the sidewalk from the B&B between 8:30 am and 7 pm. For questions or assistance after-hours, please call 989-348-4921.
PLEASE NOTE: Your credit card information is being securely stored to hold your reservation. We will not process any charges until check-out. Should you need to cancel your reservation prior to your stay, please reference our cancellation policy above regarding potential charges.
All requests to reserve a room must include the first and last name of all adults occupying the room and a valid credit card to hold your reservation.
Our room rates are always awesome, and they are subject to change.
By parking a vehicle on our property, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. We do not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
Room refreshes will not be offered during stays. Should you need fresh towels or linen, please just ask.
Breathe easy. Borchers is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $250 room cleaning fee.
We love to see your furry friends join you on a trip down the river however the B&B portion of our business does not allow pets at this time.
