Nestled in the spectacular natural landscape of the Erg Chebbi desert in south-eastern Morocco, where the reddish sand dunes stand imposing in the middle of nowhere, is our outdoor lodge. Inspired by traditional nomadic tents, it offers 4 superior category geodesic domes, and a Royal one, each with private bathroom and terrace, with a panoramic glass window that allows you to enjoy the sunrise from your bed.
Our camp has been built to offer our guests a space with a special charm, where you can breathe the essence of our Amazigh (berber) roots combined with a touch of modernity, always without forgetting the quality and comfort. Our aim is to offer a place where tranquillity and peace come together, while at the same time encouraging you to learn about the richness of the region where we were born.
Sunrise Sahara Camp is not just an accommodation but a space that seeks to create life experiences and socialisation. Beyond offering a comfortable and pleasant space in which to stay during your stay in the Sahara, in our camp we offer experiences that allow you to connect with the local population and discover the surroundings, to get closer to our way of life and customs. At the same time, our privileged location and the special character of our surroundings allow us to put at your disposal other activities that, although they are not typical of our people, find in our location an ideal place to develop.

Reservation policy
Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time, it is no longer guaranteed and the room may be reassigned. Your credit card will be charged within XX days of confirmation of your reservation.
The hotel has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the advance deposit. We will send you a cancellation confirmation by email immediately after cancelling your reservation.

Check-in (arrival) at 16:00
Check-in varies depending on the time of year, as it is designed to coincide with sunset and the camel ride to enjoy it over the dunes before arriving at the camp. In this sense, until February the scheduled time is 16:00, however, in case you plan to arrive later, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can try to find a solution.
Regarding the meeting point for the pick up and to accompany you to start the camel ride, this is at the entrance of Hassilabied where the Sahara Buggies quad garage is located. The remaining amount is payable once you are with us, preferably once you are at the camp.
You will be provided with a room key upon arrival. During the check-in process, the team will provide you with all the information you may need during your stay, such as activities to do, extra services that can be hired, etc. Remember that we are here for you to live an unforgettable experience, so do not hesitate to ask us for anything that can facilitate and improve your stay.
Check-out at 10:00 AM
Normally, check-out is at 10:00 as we have to return in our 4x4 to the meeting point so that you can continue your Morocco adventure. It is possible to request extended departure times, although we may not always be able to accommodate last minute changes as we depend on availability and how busy the hotel is.
At check-out time, please do not forget to leave the key with us so that other travellers can enjoy the same experience.
Cancellation policy
In life anything can happen and we know that, therefore, reservations are fully refundable 12 days prior to arrival date. Reservations cancelled within the 12 days prior to arrival date will be credited towards a future stay of equal or lesser value. Breathe easy. Our lodge is a non-smoking property only. This applies to both traditional methods and all electronic systems, including vapes, vaporizers, hookahs, e-cigarettes, electronic pipes and any variation of the above, regardless of product name. Smoking in the rooms or the presence of strong and persistent odours in the rooms will incur a cleaning fee of €250.
However, the camp has a number of outdoor areas such as the private terrace in each of the rooms and the various lounge areas where smoking is permitted as long as no other guests are present. The only restriction on these areas is the haima to the left of the restaurant, which has the fire area in front of it. Here, due to the materials it is made of and decorated with, smoking is not allowed.
When you make a reservation, you are booking a room category (not a specific room). Each category includes rooms of similar size and equipment, however, the interior design may vary slightly. Reservations can only be taken and confirmed by making an advance payment of €50. This amount can be paid by bank transfer and PayPal (online).
Standard booking price
The standard booking price includes the following:
- All taxes.
- Utilities (water, gas and electricity).
- Use of internet.
- Towels and bed linen.
- Cleaning before and after your stay (daily cleaning is available).
Important
When you make a reservation, you are booking a room category (not a specific room). Each category includes rooms of similar size and equipment, however, the interior design may vary slightly. Reservations can only be taken and confirmed by making an advance payment of €50. This amount can be paid by bank transfer and PayPal (online).
We will process your booking within 48 hours of receiving your request. Please note that your booking has not been made and verified until we receive the deposit amount.
