Crossroads Hotel, formerly Country Meadows Inn and Suites, was purchased June 30th, 2023. It was purchased with the goal of bringing back a quality hotel to the McGregor Lakes area. Tony and Pam Nistler, along with their Daughter and Son-in-law, Brandon and Janae Popp saw an opportunity to continue to invest in a community they have such deep ties to. Tony and Pam have been married for just about 34 years. They’re blessed to have raised 3 daughters and now have 7 wonderful grandchildren. After 32 years of running Tony Nistler Trucking, they saw an opportunity to downsize this past fall. Tony now runs a smaller excavating company to stay busy. Brandon and Janae have been married for just over 2.5 years and are raising 3 daughters as well. Brandon is the Golf Course Superintendent for Minnesota National Golf Club and Resort, while Janae works as a RN with Riverwood Healthcare Center. Brandon and Janae also co-own Bartopp Wash located in on Hwy 210 in McGregor. The vision is to bring a quality, modernized hotel to the lakes area. One that is comfortable, clean, and safe. Together, with a great team of staff members, we are working hard to bring this vision to life. Making an already enjoyable town, an even better place to visit.

ROOM RESERVATIONS

  • Check-in begins at 3pm / Check-out by 11 am
    • Guests are required to show a photo ID and Credit Card at check-in
    • Minimum age for check-in is 18 years
  • Early Arrival or Late Checkout is $25 (up to two hours)
  • Deposit of 25% is required at time of booking.
  • The maximum # of adults per standard room is four. 
REFUNDS: The 25% deposit is only refundable if the reservation is canceled by 6pm; two days (48 hours) prior to the arrival date.

PET POLICY
  • We have (4) rooms that are designated pet-friendly (dogs only).
  • A maximum of two pets are allowed per pet-friendly room.
  • A non-refundable $25 cleaning fee will be charged per dog / per night. 
  • Should your pet cause property damage or item damage, an incidental fee will be charged at market value to your credit card on file.
  • Dogs should be leashed when outside of the room.
  • No pets in the dining room, lobby, or pool area (per health department).
  • Pets can not be left unattended in rooms at any time.
  • Pet “droppings” outside should be cleaned up by the guests, disposed of in a plastic bag and put into an outside trash receptacle.

    • Registered Guests (FREE). Reservation of the private meeting room must be made in advance by calling the front desk.
    • Cost of the private meeting room by guests not staying at the hotel is $25.00 per 2 hour increments. Reservation of the private meeting room must be made in advance by calling the front desk.
      HOUSEKEEPING: daily maid service is available upon request at the front desk 

      HANDICAP/ACCESSIBILITY: are located on the main level, are wheelchair accessible, restrooms have a raised toilet with grab bars, and a closed caption TV (available) in the room.

      PHONES: Phones are not provided in all rooms. Phones are available for guests that request them from the front desk.

      NON-SMOKING POLICY 
      • Crossroads Hotel is a non-smoking facility. We do not allow smoking, vaping or use of marijuana within the hotel. There will be a charge of $250 applied to the credit card for any guest that chooses not to abide by the non-smoking policy in the hotel. 
      • Guests that choose to smoke outside are encouraged to smoke at least 25 feet from the hotel entrances.
