The Alaska Glacier Lodge offers check in from 3:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the summer season May 20 to Sep 19. Guests arriving after 9:00 p.m. should call (907) 745-5002 to arrange for late arrival. The front desk staff will leave a labelled Room Packet in the welcome box at the lodge front door.Internet

Guest smoking is permitted onsite in designated areas. We do not permit smoking in the main lodge, in or near cabins, and all deck areas.Laundry
Coin Operated Laundry facilities are available in the main lodge building. The laundry facility is available from 7:30a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Quarters are available from the gift shop. Wash $2.00, Dry $2.00.Quiet Hours
As a courtesy to all guests on site. The Alaska Glacier Lodge observes quiet hours from 9:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. daily. Please refrain from disturbing other guests during this time.Pets
Alaska Glacier Lodge permits Service Dogs on site free of charge. Guests should notify the lodge prior to arrival and please provide the task your service dog provides.
Alaska Glacier Lodge offers limited pet friendly cabins on request. Guests should book pet friendly cabins prior to arrival. The Lodge will charge a $100.00 security deposit at check in. It will release the security deposit at check out. There is an additional $25.00/night fee for pet cabins.
All pets on site must be always under the guest control outside. The lodge is next to an active Helipad. We do not permit pets to run free on site. Guests will be responsible for any damages.Parking
Limited free parking is available onsite. A guest can park in designated parking areas. We do not permit parking in front of guest cabins. The roadways in front of cabins must always remain open for emergency lanes. The Cul-de-sac at the end of Knik River Road is a public roadway and therefore closed to parking as well. The lodge offers limited RV parking. Guests should notify the front desk staff if an RV parking spot is required.Off Limit Areas

The lodge is next to residential properties. Driveways and roads off the Knik River Road are private and they do not permit guests of Knik River Lodge year-round. Guest should not approach neighbors for access or right aways to their properties except for emergencies.Wildlife Safety
Guest should store all personal food, beverages, and trash in hard top personal vehicles. Two species of bear are abundant in the area and failure to follow this guideline can create dangerous situations.
Guest should not approach wildlife on property. Moose are common sightings at the Knik River Lodge, and we should give them proper distancing to avoid issues. Wildlife is very unpredictable. The State of Alaska exterminates animals comfortable with human presence. Please do not let our animals becoming another statistic!Children
Children 17 and under stay free in parents’ cabin. An adult should always accompany children on property. There are streams on property, and parents should be mindful of these waterways. Although small, they can sweep legs from underneath children.Fire Pit
The fire pit is available to lodge guests. Wood Bundles are available for $10.00 from the Front Desk. Please follow all safety guidelines during use of the fire pit.Raven’s Perch Restaurant
The lodge does not permit outside food and beverage items inside the main lodge building or patio areas, because of Alaska state health standards.
The State of Alaska Liquor Laws apply across the whole property, including the Raven’s Perch Restaurant. It does not license us for hard liquor sales and will not allow these beverages in areas outside of rented rooms. The Raven’s Perch offers a selection of wine and beers.

Alaska Helicopter Tours offers Helicopter glacier and dog sledding tours on site. Book early to reserve your spot.
Visit the Reindeer Farm to view and hand feed reindeer, moose, bison, yaks, alpacas, highland cattle and more.
Explore the Musk Ox Farm for a close-up experience of these magnificent Paleolithic ruminants with guided tours and engaging exhibits.
There are hiking trails on property; Please ask the front desk staff for help in identifying local public trails and where they go, as private properties surround the lodge. Knik River Lodge does not have access to the Knik Riverbed. Please do not trespass to get down to the river as this can cause termination of your reservation with no refund.
The Alaska Glacier Lodge is not an access point for hunting or any other use of boarding lands outside of the realm of hiking and trekking on public lands. Please ask for information on public lands from the front desk.
