Our guesthouse is situated in a traditional cork-oak forest in the beautiful Monchique hills with magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean. Only 35 minutes away from the beaches of the Algarve and Costa Vicentina, VilaFoia is an intimate place to rest in nature, walk the many trails and enjoy the local gastronomy.
VilaFoia is a wonderful base from which to explore the region and come home to tranquility and privacy. Perfect for walking groups, training and strategy meetings and seminars, wellness workshops and family celebrations. The entire guesthouse can be booked for such events. VilaFoia has 12 rooms, all with private balconies and breath-taking views of the coast, a terraced garden and swimming pool.

FOR INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS:
VilaFoia is a small hotel, late cancellations and no-shows can really affect our business, therefore our deposit and cancellation policy is as follows:
VilaFoia is a small hotel, late cancellations and no-shows can really affect our business, therefore our deposit and cancellation policy is as follows:
- We require a down payment deposit equal to 50% of your stay that will be charged to your credit card upon booking or we will accept your bank transfer.
- If you would prefer a deposit or bank transfer, that shall be made within 7 days of your reservation confirmation. If your booking is made within the 14 days of arrival, you will have 24 hours to make a deposit of the total amount (100%) and send the proof of payment to info@vilafoia.com.
- We will automatically cancel any reservation for which we do not receive either a valid credit card or notification of the payment according to the period mentioned above.
- The remainder 50% must be paid at least 14 days prior your arrival date at VilaFoia. We will charge your credit card or you will have to send the proof of payment of the remainder 50% to VilaFoia e-mail address.
- At least 14 days prior to the arrival date, no cancellation fees apply and a full refund shall be granted excluding taxes and administrative fees.
- Any cancellation notices within 14 days or less, the full amount is non-refundable.
- In case of proved death or accidents, a refund or voucher may be granted at discretion of the VilaFoia Management.
- No show will be considered after midnight of your arrival date, unless you have made arrangements with VilaFoia for arrival after midnight. In case of no show for reservation for multiple days, the entire reservation will be cancelled unless the guest makes arrangements with the VilaFoia team per e-mail.
Group and corporate reservation payment and cancelation policy
- We require a down payment deposit equal to 25% of your stay, that shall be made within 14 days of your reservation confirmation. - If your booking is made within the 60 days of arrival date, you will have 24 hours to make a deposit of the total amount (100%) and send the proof of payment to info@vilafoia.com.
- The second down payment deposit equal to 25% of your stay shall be due 90 days (ninety days) prior the check-in date at VilaFoia. We will charge your credit card, or you will have to send the proof of payment of the 25% to VilaFoia e-mail address.
- The final payment equal to 50% of your stay, must be made prior 60 days of your arrival date. The payment shall also include the full payment of all the extra services requested such as meals, transfers, rental spaces, etc. We will charge your credit card, or you will have to send the proof of payment of the 50% to VilaFoia e-mail address.
- We will automatically cancel any reservation for which we do not receive either a valid credit card or notification of the payment according to the period mentioned above.
- At least 60 days prior to the arrival date, no cancellation fees apply, and a full refund shall be granted excluding taxes and administrative fees.
- Between 59- 31 days prior to the arrival date, 50% of the down payment is non-refundable.
- Any cancellation notices within 30 days or less, the full amount is non-refundable.
- In case of proved death or accidents, a refund or voucher may be granted at discretion of the VilaFoia Management.
- No show will be considered after midnight of your arrival date, unless you have made arrangements with VilaFoia for arrival after midnight. In case of no show for reservation for multiple days, the entire reservation will be cancelled unless the guest makes arrangements with the VilaFoia team per e-mail
- Change of dates may be granted at discretion of the VilaFoia Management, based on proved reason that you can travel to VilaFoia.
