We have a fully equipped community kitchen where you can prepare your own meals, food storage compartments, and a patio for you to spend time outdoors. Terms and Conditions
1. All accommodation, carpark bay and/or locker rentals are billed from 2pm to 7am and must be paid in full in advance for the total agreed stay.
2. No refunds will be given for the cost of accommodation, eg. if you check out earlier than initially intended.
3. Extensions must be arranged before 10am the day of Checkout with the full payment for the period of extension. Queensbay Pty Ltd (trading as Emperor’s Crown) is not obligated to extend any guests stay, or to extend at the same rate.
4. Checkout is before 10am and a charge of $10.00 will be applied for late checkout after 10am, and, the full stay for the night for checkouts after 2pm.
5. Queensbay Pty Ltd can evict for criminal, or, antisocial, or, banned behaviour, or, for failure to extend by the agreed times.
6. When checking out of DORM ROOMS remove the pillow cover and blanket cover and leave as a pile on your bed and remove your food from the kitchen.
7. Use only the bedding provided – If you need extra bedding, please ask staff for what you need. DO NOT use bedding from beds prepared for other guests.
8. For hygiene reasons, NO FOOD is permitted in the DORM ROOMS or COMMON AREAS. Perishable Foodstuffs MUST be stored in a cooler bag ladled with your name. Cubbies are provided in the kitchen to store non-perishable foodstuffs, and it is strongly recommended you use a lockable bag when doing so.
9. Aircon/heater in dorm rooms operate on timer, running from 6pm until 6am, upon request.
10. NO VISITORS are allowed in the rooms, and they must vacate the premises by 6pm.
11. No smoking is permitted inside the building, and, no drugs are permitted on the premises. Including courtyards.
12. No Alcohol is permitted in the DORM ROOMS or COMMON AREAS
13. Theft or damage of any property belonging to Emperor’s Crown will be charged for accordingly.
14. The kitchen is open from 7am to 9.30pm on Monday to Friday, and 8am to 9.30pm on Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday.
15. Both courtyards are not to be used after 10pm due to noise restrictions and the Back gate is closed after 6pm for security reasons.
16. Any photos taken on the premises can be posted on our social media pages.
17. Queensbay Pty Ltd (trading as Emperor’s Crown) accepts no liability for loss, theft and or damage to property, including any vehicles left on the premises.
18. You must pay to store any Luggage left on the premises after you have checked out. Abandoned luggage can be sold to recover unpaid bills or disposed of at the discretion of Crown Management. Luggage and belongings are considered abandoned if we cannot identify who it belongs to, or if there is no agreement for paid storage.
19. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, government restrictions apply.
20. Unpaid Accommodation, and extra charges resulting from being behind with payments, or, damage to property, may be charged to the card supplied upon booking. I also understand that breach of any part of this agreement will result in being required to leave with no refund.
21. The staff are not empowered to resolve claims or disputes over accommodation refunds regardless of reason given. All requests for a refund of accommodation can be brought up with the general manager by email to manager@emperorscrown.com.au All disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable legislation, partner agreements, and Queensbay Pty Ltd terms and conditions. Queensbay Pty Ltd reserves the right to pursue legal remedy against anyone committing criminal acts, including, but not limited to: trespass, destruction of property, harassment or threats directed towards any guest, staff or the enterprise itself. Queensbay Pty Ltd works with the resources available to it to ensure the safety of their guests and their belongings, but, exemption its obligations under law, is not liable for criminal acts perpetrated by individuals against our guests or their belongings. We will make CCTV footage and guest information available to Australian law enforcement related to any offence alleged to have occurred on the property of, or related to Emperors Crown Hostel, or its guests.
22. Queensbay Pty Ltd collects personal and identifying information in accordance with its legal obligations, and internal or channel partner logistical needs, the handling and protection of which is covered under the The Privacy Act 1988 (Australian Federal Legislation). We do not sell your information. We do not distribute your information to third parties without you explicit authorisation in each instance.
23. Minors are not permitted in a dorm room with guests not known to the guardian(s) traveling with them ignorer to ensure their safety. A private room, or a complete dorm room must be reserved.
24. Delivered packages and postage can be directed to the hostel for the duration of your stay and for up to 1 calendar month after. postage received after this date will be returned to sender.
21. The staff are not empowered to resolve claims or disputes over accommodation refunds regardless of reason given.
