The Palace Hotel is a historic Victorian building in the heart of downtown
Port Townsend dating from 1889. It has
been lovingly restored over the last 18 years by its present owner. The rooms are all uniquely furnished with
period furniture to take you back to the calm and relaxation of a former time.
We have recently added contemporary lofted studios that feature exposed beams
and antique brick for those that prefer
a "city" ambiance. There are
several comfortably furnished common areas that can be used for reading,
playing cards, board games, or just chatting with other guests. We have wonderful restaurants, coffee houses,
pubs, live music, and a first class movie theater within a block of our front
door. We invite you to join us for a
rejuvinating get away. We have
attractive off-season rates from October 15 to June 15.

The Palace Hotel is a historic building built in 1889 located in the heart of the historic district. We have no elevator and no ground floor rooms. We do not have air conditioning but we do provide fans in every room. We provide complimentary parking and WiFi. We are dog friendly in most rooms. There is an extra charge for dogs, more than two people in a room and roll away beds. This is a completely smoke free hotel and no open flames are allowed. Smoking in the room will result in a $200 charge for cleaning. Front Desk manager is available from 8 AM to 10 PM and a Overnight Manager is on premises from 10 PM to 8 AM. Check in time is 3 PM and check out is 11 AM. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy from June 15 to October 15 with a 24 hour cancellation notice required in the off season.
