Terms and Conditions
Check In
1.New Arrivals can check into the hostel after 1:00 PM each day.
2.Payment has to be done in advance for the whole length of the stay while booking online.
3Additional charge of INR 50 will apply for obtaining fresh towels at the front desk.
4.Valid identification is a requirement. We accept a Passport, Photo ID and / or Driver's License. Foreign Nationals would need to submit a copy of their Visa.
5.Availing the laundry service will incur an additional cost of INR 200 per wash.
Check Out
1.Deposit the used towels.
2.Guests are requested to check out by 12 noon.
3.Luggage can be kept at the reception with permission from the management.
Noise
1.Please be considerate towards other visitors, especially when you are using electronic media.
2.The quiet time for sleeping is from 11 PM. to 7 AM. Out of courtesy to fellow visitors, please be quiet during this time.
Smoking
1.Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms or common areas; it is strictly restricted to outside the DSH premises.
Water and Electricity Conservation
1.Do not waste water.
2.Please switch off all unnecessary lights and fans.
Kitchen
1.Segregate the waste and dump them in the designated bins.
2.Food may only be prepared and eaten in the designated areas.
3.The use of electrical appliances for the preparation of food or hot beverages in your room is not permitted.
4.You are responsible for the cleaning of the kitchen’s counter, floor and appliances used for the preparation of your meals after you are done, and this also includes the fridge.
Rooms
1. We provide bed sheets and pillow cover free of charge.
2.It is prohibited to damage walls or furniture with hooks, screws, nails, glue/adhesives and the like. The management reserves the right to occasionally inspect the rooms with regard to cleanliness and tidiness.
Shared Bathrooms
1.Do not keep your belongings in the bathroom/toilet.
2.Do not switch on the geyser unnecessarily, the bathroom is solar powered.
3.Do NOT throw toilet paper or female hygiene products in the toilet as it will clog and it won't be pretty.
Communal Areas
1.Common areas are available to all residents. Do not leave or store anything there. Remove personal material from the communal rooms as you leave.
