The Bunkhouse is a 38 bed, hostel nestled in the heart of Minturn, Colorado. The community bunk room is comprised of 30 custom handcrafted bunk beds, integrated with sound and vibration reduction materials that ensure comfort and privacy. Each bunk has its own USB and power outlet for easy recharging of your personal devices. When traveling with a small group, The Bunkhouse offers two - four person dorms available for semi-private or private booking. Before you hit the mountain, feel free to cook your own food in the community kitchen and grab our complimentary cup of coffee. For your convenience, we provide linens, Wi-Fi throughout the building, complimentary! Don't forget to enjoy a Colorado craft beer or glass of wine on our mountain deck. Warm yourself by the fire, use our outdoor grill, or simply lounge while reveling in our mountain air. Property and Cancelation Policies :
Because we are a destination vacation location, advanced planning is required to reach our property. Our cancellation policy is: no penalty up to 14 days prior to your check-in date. If you cancel your reservation for any reason within 14 days of the check-in date, you will be charged the full amount for the nights on your reservation. If you attempt to modify or "No Show" for your reservation, you will be charged the full amount of your reservation. All cancellations and modifications must be submitted by email to nancy@vailbunkhouse.com two weeks prior to your arrival date. When making your a reservation with The Bunkhouse LLC, you agree with the terms and conditions of this cancellation policy.

To respect our neighbors and maintain the serenity of our small mountain town, compliance with all policies is required to stay at our property. This is a perfect location of you like to charge the mountain by day, and chill by night. Any guest behaving in a manner that disrupts other guests or Minturn neighbors will be asked to leave The Bunkhouse property without a refund. This is a drug free and non smoking property. Our deck use ends at 9PM. Quiet hours in common areas begins at 10PM. Off site parking is .2 miles from The Bunkhouse. Guests must use Bunkhouse parking or be fined from The Town of Minturn $100.00. An ID and major credit card on file is required upon check-in. No pets, service animals are allowed with prior documentation and authorization. Must be 18 to stay with us.
As our hostel is a shared lodging experience with no privaterooms or bathrooms, the highest level of guest kindness, courtesy, respect, andcooperation are required by guests and staff alike, in order for The Bunkhouse,LLC to function peacefully and properly. The Bunkhouse maintains the rightto refuse service and/or lodging to any guest who is behaving in an verbally orphysically aggressive manner, or in a manner that threatens the safely and/or comfort of others. It is at themanagement's full discretion to cancel or refuse a guest reservation at any timeas these listed behaviors become apparent.
A 10% deposit is required to secure your reservation, and is taken at the time of booking. The remaining balance is taken upon check in.
An additional 4% customer service charge is applied to deposit payment, as well as reservation payment at the time of check in. As an incentive for our guests, we now offer a discount to pay with cash to receive an immediate 4% discount when you pay in cash.
