MINIMUM AGE: We welcome guests ages 12 and older.
Due to the serene and calm nature of the property, our emphasis on peaceful rest and relaxation, and the lack of child-friendly activities around the property, the lodge is not well suited for families with young children. However, we understand that not all children have the same temperament, noise, and energy levels. We are happy to consider families with children under age 12 on a case-by-case basis upon discussion with and agreement by the owner. WOMEN'S RETREATS
Launching in 2024, and offered periodically throughout the year, the Retreats at Orchid Lodge are specially curated, fully customized, and all-inclusive experiences for women of all ages who are looking for a relaxing, uplifting, and restorative tropical getaway. With an emphasis on community, conversations, and Christian fellowship, participants will engage with an intimate small group of like-minded women who are also seeking rest, renewal, realignment, reconnection, and refreshment.
Our retreats incorporate the spiritual disciplines of prayer, worship, Bible study, sabbath, and quiet time with God. We welcome women at any stage in her faith journey who may have a desire to deepen or to explore a relationship with God and to learn about the teachings of Jesus in a safe, supportive, and welcoming space among other women pursuing the same. 2024 retreat dates will be announced soon!

We know that plans change; that's why we want to offer you as much flexibility as possible.
We hope you don't need to cancel your booking, but if you do, there's no penalty. We just ask that you give us as much advance notice as possible so that we can try to resell your room to other interested guests.

BREAKFAST: Breakfast is served daily on the pool patio from 8:30-10:00am. Please inform us in advance if you have any food allergies or special dietary considerations.

CCTV: Security cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded.
CHECK-IN: Our standard check-in time is after 3:00pm. An earlier check-in may be possible subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.
CHECK-OUT: Our standard check-out time is at or before 11:00am. A later check-out may be possible subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.
CURRENCY: Prices quoted are in Thai Baht and payments can only be made in Thai Baht, unless otherwise agreed with the owner.
DAMAGES: During your stay, please treat the house (and all of its equipment and furniture) with care. If you cause any damages, staining, or breakages, please let us know as soon as possible. The guest is financially responsible for any damage to the house or its items.
ELECTRICITY: The room rate is inclusive of electricity charges. However, to help us conserve energy, please turn off lights and air-conditioning whenever you leave. Failure to do so may result in an additional fee.
HOUSEKEEPING: Housekeeping and room freshening is provided daily.
LINENS & TOWELS: Since we operate like a normal residence, in order to eliminate unnecessary laundry, bed linens and bath towels will be changed only upon guest request or when needed.

NO SMOKING: We are a strictly non-smoking property. Smoking is only allowed in the designated area next to the covered parking, outside of the property gates.
NO DRUGS ALLOWED: The use of recreational drugs of any kind is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. Violation of this policy may result in action by the Thai police and a fine of 15,000 THB.
NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS: We take the safety and security of our guests very seriously. Only registered guests with valid bookings are allowed to enter the property. Any guest who wishes to bring a visitor to the property must receive prior approval from the owner and must provide valid identification for the visitor. The Orchid Lodge Samui reserves the right to deny any visitor requests. Any guest found in violation of this policy will be subject to a fine of 15,000 THB and may be asked to leave the property.
NOISE: Since the Orchid Lodge Samui is a calm and peaceful place of rest and relaxation, please be mindful of any noises, music, or activities that could create a disturbance for other guests.
PARKING: There is free street parking for guests of the Orchid Lodge Samui. You may park anywhere on the gravel along the front side of the property. Please do not park in the covered parking area, as this is reserved for the owner and staff. The Orchid Lodge Samui is not responsible for any damage to your vehicle while parked in the parking area.
PAYMENT: A valid credit card is required at the time of booking unless an alternate agreement has been made with the owner. Credit card payments will be made via a PayPal invoice and will incur a 5% surcharge per transaction. If you prefer to pay by another method, we also accept THB cash, Thai bank transfer, or Wise (no surcharges).
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Orchid Lodge Samui will collect your personal data only for private use related to your booking. Upon check-in, we will collect the passport details for all guests, as required by Thai immigration authorities.
PETS AND ANIMALS: Guests are not allowed to bring any pets or animals to the property. There are two very friendly cats that live on the property, but they are strictly outdoor cats. Please do not allow them inside your room.
POOL: There is no lifeguard at the pool, so guests assume all responsibility for their own safety in or around the pool. Additionally, in order to maintain a calm and relaxing poolside atmosphere for all guests, no jumping, splashing, or loud noises, please.
RATES & FEES: Rates quoted are per house, per night (unless otherwise specified), subject to availability, inclusive of government taxes.
SERVICE CHARGE: Service charges are not included in the rate, and tips/gratuities to the staff are upon your discretion (and sincerely appreciated).
VALUABLES: There is an electronic safe located in the bedroom closet. Orchid Lodge Samui and our staff accept no responsibility for loss or damage of valuables on the property.
