Property and Cancelation Policies :
- Full payment is required at time of booking
- A bond of $250 will be taken against the nominated credit card the day before check-in.
- Bookings cancelled within 30 days prior to the check-in date will incur a 100% cancellation penalty and forfeit all monies paid.
- Bookings cancelled greater than 30 days prior to the check-in date will forfeit 50% of the full payment less the cleaning and linen fee.
- We recommend that customers consider their own Travel Insurance to help mitigate the risk of loss of accommodation expenses as a result of cancellations due to customer’s unforeseen circumstances.
- Changes to an existing booking will incur a minimum administration fee of $50 each time the existing/processed booking is changed (excluding cancellations).
- It is at the sole discretion of Pacific Serenity and its owners as to what monies are refundable, if at all, and whether the property can be re-let.
Terms and Conditions
- All parties agree to abide by these terms and conditions
- By paying your accommodation expenses it is understood that you have agreed to the Terms and Conditions stated hereon.
- The customer named on the confirmation letter is liable for any damage caused to the property, any missing items or breaches of the conditions outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
If any damage is caused to, or any items are missing from, the property, the customer gives Pacific Serenity and it owners authority to charge the customer’s credit card provided and/or access any security bond, for the repair or replacement to the same or similar standard depending on item/s availability at the property manager’s discretion. Time taken to repair or replace items will be added to the total at a rate of $100 per hour. (Fair consideration is to be given for "Ordinary Wear and Tear" meaning the deterioration in condition of property that occurs under normal use and conditions). - Should the repair and/or replacement exceed the value of any security bond, the customer is also liable to for the extra amount.
- If a customer arrives at the property and does not like the accommodation that they have chosen, no cancellation or refunds will be considered, unless it can be proven without a reasonable doubt that they did not get what was outlined on the confirmation letter or what was depicted on the website.
- The customer gives Pacific Serenity and its owners and/or the supplier/agent (with the consent of Pacific Serenity and its owners) authority to debit their credit card for any monies owing for their booking, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and any booking confirmation.
- The customer agrees to indemnify Pacific Serenity and its owners for any action taken against Pacific Serenity and its owners in relation to the customer and/or their reservation.
- Customers are advised to take out travel insurance to cover their obligations under these Terms and Conditions in case of cancellation of travel arrangements.
- A booking is not confirmed unless payment is received by us as outlined in our conditions.
- In the event that there is a problem with products or services booked through Pacific Serenity please contact us first. We will not accept responsibility for problems if the customer does not alert us to the problem first.
- If the customer fails to pay monies when owed, we reserve the right to deem this as a cancellation and cancel the booking. This will result in the customer forfeiting his/her deposit and all other payments.
- If there is any Final payment required, this is to be debited automatically from the customer’s credit card, and this will be done 30 days prior to check in. The card holder gives Pacific Serenity and its owners authorisation to do this. This includes the security bond.
- The accommodation is booked only for the number of people actually stated on the confirmation. NO additional persons are permitted to stay or visit Pacific Serenity without the prior permission of us. Such a breach would be considered a breach of these terms and conditions and result in immediate cancellation of your booking and you will be asked to leave the property. A full bond deduction applies in case of a breach of this notification.
- The names and contact details of all visitors and guests are to be provided to Pacific Serenity prior to checkin.
- A credit card imprint or Eftpos transaction is required prior to arrival for the security bond. If the customer does not have a credit card, then a bank transfer is required to be completed at least 5 business days prior to check-in. The bond requirement is $250 per stay. Upon departure this will be credited to the customer after inspection of the property, less any deduction for damages, excess waste, or additional cleaning. This will be at the reasonable discretion of the Property Manager. The bond may also be trigged by any excessive noise involving any local complaint or the call out of police. In this event the full bond will be charged.
- All renting nominated customers of Pacific Serenity must be legal adults.
- Any accommodation booked with Pacific Serenity is for accommodation purposes only and expressly prohibits the use of this accommodation for anything other than this purpose. We expressly prohibit the use of Pacific Serenity for functions, gatherings or parties or any other purpose unless this is approved prior to check-in by The Owners or Property Manager.
- Minimum stay two or more nights depending on the season – see rates and tariff information.
- These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.
- Pacific Serenity and its owners reserve the right to withhold monies from the security bond for breaches of the outlined Terms and Conditions.
- Every person must use existing bedding aside from infants. Guests are not to bring their own bedding except as needed for infants.
