Vista Las Olas Surf Resort (VLO) is a beach-front, secluded and private getaway that overlooks the beautiful Pacific Ocean, right next to “Las Flores” Point-break, located at Playa Las Flores, El Cuco, on the eastern coast of El Salvador, 2 hours from the capital city of San Salvador in the region of San Miguel. Our Resort is adjacent to the quaint cozy fishing village of the town of El Cuco. Property and Cancelation Policies :
Deposit Policy: A 50% of the total as a deposit and to guarantee the reservation is required. The remaining 50% can be paid any time before arrival or at check-in time at the hotel. Additional services including romantic dinners and romantic decor packages must be paid for in full 5 days before the date of the guest's reservation. Refunds will not be issued if service is canceled without a minimum of 3 days' notice before the date of the reservation. If the reservation included one of the mentioned additional services and is canceled the same day of check-in, there will be no credit issued to repeat this service for a later date. 
Cancellation Policy:- Please submit all cancellations via email to All cancellations are not refundable 24 hours after the reservation is confirmed. If the reservation is confirmed with the 50% deposit and the guest chooses to cancel within the 24-hour period, a 10% credit card transaction fee will be deducted from the total refund of the deposit. Reservations can be rescheduled for future dates with no additional fee if it is confirmed with two days of anticipation before the date of your reservation, subject to hotel availability. If a reservation is canceled within 48 hours prior to the date of the reservation or on the same day of the reservation a 20% cancellation fee will be charged. Reservations can be canceled and modified one time. If the reservation is canceled a second time, the credit of the reservation (original deposit) will not be considered valid. We will not issue a refund due to cancellation leaving after check-in or a no-show. If the guest does not present for the reservation, the remaining 50% payment will be charged for the first night of the stay. 
Under no circumstances will the hotel allow the use of the hotel's facilities by persons without a room reservation for the night in compliance with our COVID-19 protocols. The hotel will allow guests of persons with a reservation at the hotel to use the restaurant area only for breakfast, lunch, or dinner service. Use of the facilities by anyone without a registered room reservation for the night is forbidden. Check-In Time: 3:00 pm Check-Out Time: 12:00 pm. Early entry before 3 pm, our regular check-in time, is permitted at or after 1 pm. The hotel does not allow early access to the hotel's facilities before 1 pm in compliance with our COVID-19 protocols. If you arrive at the hotel before check-in time (12-3 pm) we will provide you with a safe place to store your luggage or surfboards, so that you can enjoy the facilities while you arrive at check-in time. If your room is ready before 3:00 pm, we will do our best to complete the check-in process early. The hotel will permit the use of the facilities by guests with room reservations until 2 pm latest after they check out of their hotel room. The hotel does not permit the use of the facilities after 2 pm to comply with our COVID-19 protocols. The entry/consumption of alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, bottles, food, or external coolers is not allowed. Pets are not allowed on the premises. Refunds: No refunds for unused services in package sales. There are no refunds for missing non-essential items, such as internet, cable, air conditioning, hot tubs, swimming pools, televisions, washer/dryer, microwaves, and other convenience items. However, we will make every reasonable effort to have these items repaired as soon as possible. There are no refunds for emergency recalls. No refunds will be issued for changes in weather conditions.  If there are missing items from your hotel room following check-out, a corresponding fee depending on the items lost, will be charged to the payment method provided.  These policies are subject to change by our management and without notice, although we agree to post them on our website The hotel is not responsible for stolen, damaged, or lost items.
