Our goal at Bluff Beach Retreat is to exceed
your expectations and ensure that you have a wonderful holiday.
The 7-acre property is located directly on
Bluff Beach, with miles of secluded sandy beach.
Our beautiful off-the-grid property, with the
magnificent Caribbean Ocean at your front door and lush jungle at the back, is
one of Panama's highest rated Bed & Breakfast resorts.
We offer three homes, the oceanfront Beach House, a 5000 square foot home
with 4 bedrooms – 5 bathrooms & the oceanfront La Playa Casita, a 3500 square foot home with
3 bedrooms - 3 bathrooms & Las Palmas Casita, a 800 square foot home with 2
bedrooms – one bathroom. These three homes can accommodate up to 19 people.
In addition, we have constructed a large exercise
& Yoga facility, where we offer weekly classes. In a Massage studio, we
offer the services of a wonderful massage therapist.
The homes have been beautifully built with
rich native woods, high efficiency Hunter fans, fully screened louvered
windows, hotel quality mattresses, lots of hot water, fully equipped kitchens
and WiFi.
We can offer a great breakfast – served daily on the front porch of the Beach House or any of the Casitas, at an extra charge.
There are four excellent restaurants within
a 5 to 10-minute walk from the property.
Our 65-foot lap pool is a fantastic
compliment to your holiday.
There is a lot to do. Enjoy walking miles of deep sandy beach, snorkeling,
surfing, horseback riding, tour our farm or use one of our bicycles.

Since we do not have a 24/7 reception, for your comfort and convenience, inform us of your estimated time of arrival in advance. Bluff Beach Retreat can arrange a taxi pick-up at the Bocas del Toro airport, if you provide us - in advance –with the details of your flight. The driver will charge you $20 ($25 if you desire to go shopping) for transportation to Bluff Beach Retreat. This is to be paid in cash directly to the driver.
Bluff Beach Retreat can provide our guests with the complimentary use of bicycles with a locking device during your stay. Bluff Beach Retreat requires 50% prepayment by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) for all reservations. The balance is payable 60 days prior to arrival. All payments are non-refundable, however we offer a extremely flexible policy for postponing or transferring your reservation to an alternative date, subject to availability. Requests to change or postpone your holiday should be made at least 14 days prior to the arrival date.
In addition, and at no extra cost to you, I could arrange flights from Panama City to Bocas del Toro (I am a ticket agent for Air Panama), transfers & suggest hotels in Panama City at very reasonable prices.
