Terms and Conditions
1. All people with a reservation and accommodation at the Altea Karma Hostel must register, presenting a Passport, DNI or Spanish Driving License. This documentation will be sent to the relevant authorities according to law.
2. The schedules established according to regulations are established as follows:
- CHECK IN from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. For check-ins after 10:00 p.m., the guest must communicate in advance, and instructions will be given to access the building and the room.
- CHECK OUT maximum at 12:00 hrs. Taking into account that access cards will no longer be valid from that time with a courtesy period of around 15 minutes. To extend the departure, you will be contacted in advance via WhatsApp (611349134) and if possible, a supplement of €10 per additional hour will be charged after 12 noon.
3. Payment for the stay will be made according to the conditions of the channel where the reservation was made and in the case of the Altea Karma Hostel WEB page, the conditions and policies previously indicated must be met; Charges may be made to your credit card before your arrival and based on the cancellation conditions indicated. The remaining payment or the total of the reservation will be made before entering the accommodation via the automatic CHECK IN Kiosk or at the reception if it is operational.
4. Altea Karma Hostel will reserve the right to admit occasional visitors and the right to order the immediate departure of a visitor or guest who is not previously registered according to the reservation made or the CHECK IN.
5. Any type of pet is not accepted in any of the rooms or common areas of the Hostal Altea Karma.
6. The Hostal Altea Karma does not have extra beds, the third and fourth additional person being accommodated on sofa beds according to the description of each type of room.
7. The possibility of including cribs for children 0-2 years old is subject to availability and if needed, the client must request it in advance.
8. In the event of scandals or acts that put the integrity of other guests at risk, whether inside the rooms or common areas of the hostel property, you will be asked to immediately vacate the rooms and cover the total cost of the stay.
9. Hostal Altea Karma reserves the right to charge the client for any damage caused to the facilities due to misuse by the guest, which will be charged to the guest's account. The established costs are as follows: Television or air conditioning control (€30), objects found inside the rooms such as towels (bath towel = €10; washbasin towel = €5), sheets, decoration , etc. Also any decorative element in the common areas or reception. Using as evidence the recordings of the closed system of cameras and image recording, previously warned by signs in the facilities of the Altea Karma Hostel.
10. Hostal Altea Karma is not responsible for any theft or partial or total damage to your possessions within the rooms and facilities of the hostel, except upon prior declaration.
11. Hostal Altea Karma is not responsible for the cost of any accident or mishap within its facilities, these being caused by the negligence of the guest. But it will provide necessary help or resources, as long as they are within its reach, to help the guest in their situation.
12. Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms or in any of the common areas, reserving the right to charge the client an additional €40 for cleaning, without exception.
13. Hostal Altea Karma reserves the right to modify any of the parts included in the general contracting conditions, without prior notice.
14. These general terms and/or conditions of contract are governed by Spanish Law, leaving Hostal Altea Karma and the users subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Benidorm, for the resolution of any controversy that may arise, regarding to its validity, execution, compliance or resolution, total or partial. This contract constitutes the complete and complete expression of the agreement between Hostal Altea Karma and the user, and replaces all previous pacts, commitments, statements or agreements, both written and oral, that have previously existed between both.General terms, conditions and policies.
15. Under this contract, the guest, as the owner of the reservation, ACCEPTS the Terms, Conditions and General Policies of Hostal Altea Karma, being responsible for their actions and those of their companion/s, if they have one.
Cancellation policy
1. The client may modify or cancel their reservation for free, as long as they communicate it at least 7 days in advance, otherwise, Hostal Altea Karma will charge the credit/debit card provided by the client at the time. upon booking, 100% of the value of the first night of the stay. If the client does not show up at the establishment on the day indicated in their reservation, 100% of the value of the stay will be charged.
2. If for any reason (illness, accident, death of a family member, etc.), the client cannot appear on the day of their reservation, being outside the period to cancel free of charge; The client may request a new date for their stay, but must pay the difference in price, if they choose a date with a higher rate, and on that price, they must also pay a 15% surcharge. If you choose a date with a lower rate, you will not be able to benefit from a price reduction, and you must pay the price of your original reservation, plus a 15% surcharge.
The charge of 100% of the value of the stay (including the 15% surcharge) will be made at the time of changing the date, leaving the reservation fully paid and, thus, becoming a non-refundable paid reservation.
3. In case of cancellation or early departure, which does not comply with the general terms and conditions, the total cost of the stay must be covered, if it does not exceed 4 consecutive nights. In the case of long-term stays, the first 4 nights will be charged plus 50% of the value of subsequent nights not enjoyed.
