Our mid-century boutique hotel features 25 hotel rooms and suites in two buildings at a great location just 3 blocks from the beach.

The main building, which we call 701 (701 Orton Ave) houses the Reception and has King Rooms, Junior Suites and an Accessible Junior Suite. This building was completely renovated in 2023 in a high, contemporary standard all the way into the concrete structure. The pool is also next to this building.

The 709 building (709 Orton Ave) has Queen Rooms, King Deluxe Rooms and 2 Bedrooms Suites and has an older but yet clean standard and these rooms are more affordable for those preferring that.
Our amenities include an enjoyable pool and pool deck, a nice and peaceful garden, a brand new Ice Machine, and we are just a 5-10 minutes walk from the beautiful beach of Fort Lauderdale, and there are lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT

  • Check-in is from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
  • Check-out time is promptly at 11:00 am
Our check-in time begins at 4:00 pm. If your room is not ready at 3:00 pm, we welcome you to store your bags with us and enjoy the pool or beach after you have completed your check-in process at the front desk. Check-in time ends at 5:00 pm. If you like to have a later check-in time, we can accommodate that if you send a request to us by email including a copy of your ID at least one day prior to your arrival. We have a system with lock boxes at the hotel, where we then will put your room key and send you instructions by email on the day of your arrival. You will then do the formal check in at our reception the following morning.

Our check-out time is 11:00 am. We respectfully ask that you plan a prompt departure as we will not have the flexibility of late check out at this time. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause, but we are required to allow our team time to properly clean and prepare the property for our incoming guests. Early arrivals and late check-outs are based on availability, additional fees apply. 

The minimum age to check-in and stay is 21 years old, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This minimum age requirement applies to all guests and visitors of the hotel, with the exception for individuals who are currently on active duty as a member of the US Military (must present valid military identification card at check-in).


DEPOSIT AND ADVANCE PAYMENT
  • Deposit of the first night's stay including taxes is collected at the time of booking.
  • Upon check-in an incidental deposit of $150 is collected on top of the remaining charges and taxes for the entire stay. 
  • Advance payment might be required for special dates or for specific offers. This information will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • Credit cards used at the time of booking must be presented upon check-in; if the credit card used for deposit at the time of booking is not available, the amount for the entire stay (including deposit) will be placed onto the new card. The ID of the credit card holder will be verified at the time of check-in.

TAXES AND FEES
Room fees are subject to a 13% sales and tourist tax and Parking fees are subject to a 7% sales tax. Taxes and fees are subject to change.


MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY AND ADDITIONAL PERSONS

Rates are for single or double occupancy. All other occupants must be registered upon check-in. The extra person rate is $20 per night plus taxes.

In Queen Room we allow for a maximum of 2 adults/persons.
In Junior Suite and Accessible Junior Suite we allow for a maximum of 5 adults/persons.
In 2-Bedroom Suite, we allow for a maximum up to 6 adults and 8 persons.
For all other Rooms and Suites, we allow for a maximum of up to 3 adults/persons.

CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OLD

Children 11 years old and younger stay for free in room with parents and with existing bedding. In the 2-Bedroom Suite up to 3 children under 12 years old are included in the rate, for additional children there is an extra person rate of $20 per night plus taxes per child.


CRIB & ROLLAWAY BEDS

Cribs and Rollaway beds are offered upon request and based on availability.
Cribs and Rollaway beds are each $20 per night plus 13% sales and tourist tax. For additional details and reservations, please contact our office.


GUEST´S VISITORS

During daytime, between 10 am and 10 pm, registered guests are allowed to have a maximum of 2 visitors per room. Registered guest shall take full responsibility for their visitors, so they follow our hotel policies. Guest´s visitors are not allowed to use the pool or the pool deck unless they have purchased a day pass through, see more about this under "Pool and Pool deck policy" below. If anyone wishes to have more than 2 visitors, a request must be sent to and approved by our office prior to the visit. If visitors need parking, a parking pass is offered based upon availability and the fee is $10 per day plus 7% sales tax.


NO DISTURBANCE

We hope you will have a great and relaxing stay at Rolo Beach Hotel! We are committed to provide a safe and peaceful place for the well-being of all of our guests and employees. As such, we strictly adhere to this policy. If other guests are disturbed due to excessive noise or improper behavior, management reserves the right to ask everyone to vacate the premises and any refund of room charges and deposit will be forfeited at that time. You may also incur a fee of $300 as a disturbance charge if any of the following occur:
·        Any non-registered guests or visitor to the guest on the property after 10 pm
·        Other guests are disturbed due to excessive noise
·        Number of guests or occupants in the room are more than registered. 


PARKING

Self-parking on property is available for guests at the cost of $10 per night plus tax. We have a limit of 1 parking space per room, additional parking spaces are based upon availability. Upon check-in we will issue a parking pass for your vehicle. Place this parking pass on the rear view mirror in the car so it is visible from the outside. 


PET POLICY

We are a dog-friendly hotel and allow dogs in select rooms. To ascertain what rooms we allow dogs in, we require the booking to be done in advance via phone or email to us. There is a $20 daily pet fee plus 13% sales tax. Only one dog is allowed per room and the dog must weigh 40 pounds or less. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Dogs may not be left in a guest room unattended. Dogs are not permitted in any public/common areas of the hotel (reception, pool deck, breezeways, seating areas and garden area). Cats are not allowed at the hotel.


NON-SMOKING POLICY

Rolo Beach Hotel is a smoke-free hotel. A $300 recovery fee will be charged for smoking in a non-designated area, including your room, the breezeways, the garden and pool deck. If you must smoke, please do so outside the property.


RESERVATIONS CANCELLATION POLICY
  • Cancellations must abide by our cancellation policies specific to the offer booked. Each reservation is subject to specific restrictions, and cancellation charges may apply. For certain rates and rooms, changes to your reservation are not permitted once booked. This information will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation Policy: Unless otherwise noted in a particular promotion, any guest that needs to cancel their stay should do so 7 days prior to check-in. If cancellation occur less than 7 days prior to check-in, a fee of the first night's stay plus taxes will be charged.
  • Cancellation Policy for guests that booked with "7 nights or more stay" rates (discount): A guest that needs to cancel their stay should do so 14 days prior to check-in. If cancellation occur less than 14 days prior to check-in, a fee of the first 3 nights´ room fees plus taxes will be charged.
  • Cancellation Policy for guests that booked with "14 nights or more stay" rates (discount): A guest that needs to cancel their stay should do so 14 days prior to check-in. If cancellation occur less than 14 days prior to check-in, a fee of the first 5 nights´ room fees plus taxes will be charged.
  • Cancellation Policy for holiday and event periods: For stays that included any dates from May 7-9, July 4-6, October 27-31, November, 12-14 or December 24 - January 2, a deposit of the first night´s room fee plus taxes is charged at the time of booking. Stays that include these dates must be canceled up to 14 days prior to arrival without penalty; late cancellation or No Show penalty equals the first night´s room fee plus taxes.
  • Reservations not canceled are considered a NO SHOW and one-night room fees and tax will be charged. This applies to all guests that do not show up for check-in during our check-in hours, currently from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm (unless we have confirmed a later check-in time in writing after a request from guest).

EARLY DEPARTURE
All guests have a confirmed departure date provided in the reservation.
For guests that booked with standard rates or with "3 nights or more stay" rates: Should guests depart earlier than the check-out date, a charge of the following nights room fees plus taxes will be incurred.
For guests that booked with "7 nights or more stay" rates (discount): Should guests depart earlier than the check-out date, a charge of the following 3 nights´ room fees plus taxes will be incurred.
For guests 
that booked with "14 nights or more stay" rates (discount): Should guests depart earlier than the check-out date, a charge of the following 5 nights´ room fees plus taxes will be incurred.

POOL AND POOL DECK POLICY

The pool and pool deck at Rolo Beach Hotel is for the exclusive use of our registered guests. No outside visitors will be permitted unless they have purchased a day pass through our reception. Day passes are subject to availability and at a cost of $25 per person plus taxes. Glass, porcelain plates, food and open beverages are prohibited on our pool deck. The pool is open from dawn to dusk. 

Notice about pool renovation: the pool and pool deck will be closed for renovations between August 13 - September 30 2024. This time a year, the Atlantic Ocean has a warm temperature so we hope our guests can enjoy that in stead.

POOL AND BEACH TOWELS

Pool and beach towels are issued in the reception. Upon check-in you will get a towel card for each registered guest, which you may exchange for one towel. During your stay you may exchange a towel for a clean one or return dirty towel for your towel card. Loss of either towel card or towel will result in a $20 fee plus tax.


ROOM KEYS AND REMOTE CONTROLS

Physical room keys will be issued at check-in. Please treat these keys as you would your own house keys. If a key is lost, we must re-key the lock with a new set of keys, and therefore any lost key will result in a $30 fee plus taxes. If a remote control from the room is lost or damaged, it will result in a $50 fee plus taxes.


PACKAGES SENT TO THE HOTEL RECEPTION

A handling fee of $5 flat plus sales tax for each package up to 5 packages will be applied; a handling fee of $15 flat plus sales tax will be applied to each package for the next 6-10 packages. All packages should be addressed to a REGISTERED guest's name ONLY. We will not accept more than 10 packages per registered guest room and not sooner than 3 days prior to the guest's check-in date at the hotel. Packages must be delivered, and are available for pickup in the reception between 9:00 am-5:00 pm only. The size of the package cannot be more than 2.25 cubic feet in volume (which equates to a box measuring approximately 18 inches x 18 inches x 12 inches). If packages are not retrieved by guests prior to the check-out date, packages will be held until the end of the month and then posted as "return to sender" or donated to charity.
