The Urban Hideaway Guesthouse is a premier accommodation choice for travelers coming to Vancouver. Situated in the last house in the downtown of beautiful Vancouver. Our superb location is nestled in a very quiet area of the downtown among great restaurants, across from Cathedral park and the magnificent Holy Rosary Cathedral.
Our building was constructed to function as a guesthouse during the birth of Vancouver and the famous West Coast goldrush. Amazingly it was built for the original backpackers! Those adventurous souls coming from all over the world to work and travel, finding adventure and perhaps even their fortune in the Canadian wilderness. We are a 5 minute walk to Historic Gastown, five minutes from all the downtown Skytrain stations and Stanley Park is a 15 minute walk away along the seawall.
Our building was originally built for travelers and as such it was laid out very thoughtfully, for maximum comfort and relaxation.
Our main floor and second floor rooms are large, each high ceiling room has top quality beds and bedding with each room having its own sink, TV/DVD system and large mirrors.
Our top floor premium Loft Suite extends the entire length of our building and has a private en-suite toilet and shower as well as a TV/DVD system, dining table and a sofa-bed. All of our rooms have plants, west coast art and photographs of Vancouver and area.
Our fantastic, feature kitchen is awesome for preparing and enjoying your breakfast and your evening meals too. If you want to prepare a feast it's perfect.
We have a large outdoor deck that is open air and partially covered to enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast or if you want a break in your day come back, kick back and relax among the variety of plants we have.
