We offer five private log cabins and four rooms and suites in our Shared Lodge. Whether you are looking for lodging for a single traveler or for a group, we have accommodations to fit your needs. You'll find us nestled in a birch forest just a 5 minute drive( <2 miles) to all the activities and dining in the quaint village of Talkeetna.

Property and Cancelation Policies :

Meandering Moose Lodging New Cancellation Policy for 2024.

Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in.
If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking. 50% of the total reservation up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

Terms and Conditions

DEPOSIT:

A deposit equal to the first night's stay is charged at the time of reservation. The remainder of the reservation will be charged 14 days prior to check in. We send an email reminder a day before the charge. If for any reason the transaction is declined, we will contact you through the provided contact information for updated payment card. Should we be unable to make contact with you within 24 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and retain your original deposit amount. Upon check in, a credit card must be presented for an incidental hold. This hold will be no more than $250 and will be refunded after check out and inspection of the accommodations.

It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that Meandering Moose has current contact information and credit card data.

RATES:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Our rates are based on one or two guests. The exception to this is our Mangy Moose Cabin which sleeps up to eight and the rate is based on four guests. $25 per person fee after 4 guests. Children 5 and under are free but still count in the total number of guests.

CHECK IN

Check-in is between 3 and 9pm. We cannot accept early or late check ins. Office is open until 9pm. After 9pm, reservations not checked in will be considered a no show and will not be eligible for refund.
Guests must provide the credit card the reservation was made under along with photo ID upon check in. Meandering Moose Lodging requires a credit card on file for incidentals and/or damages during your stay. A hold will be placed on this card and then released within 48 hours after check out pending inspection of the accommodations. Please be aware it may take your credit card company longer to release the funds after the hold.

CHECK OUT
Check out is by 11am. There is a $100 fee for any check out after 11am. Must be checked out by 12noon. We provide easy checkout for your convenience. Simply notify the staff when you're ready to head out and you can be on your way!

PETS:
Meandering Moose Lodging has a new NO PETS policy. If a guest is found to have a pet on the property, a fine will be incurred and the guest will be asked to remove the pet from the property or leave the property without refund.

LIABILITY:

The guest or his/her agents shall compensate the lodge for damages to Meandering Moose Lodging property caused through intention or negligence on the part of the guest. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings on Meandering Moose Lodging property. In the event of smoke or smoky odor due to smoking or electronic cigarettes, the guest shall be responsible for additional cleaning fees to remove the smoke odor and repair any damages incurred.
