We offer four private log cabins and three seperate accommodations in our Shared Lodge. Property and Cancelation Policies :
Meandering Moose Lodging New Cancellation Policy for 2024.
Travelers who cancel 30 days or more before 3:00 pm AKST on the day of check-in are charged no fee. Travelers who cancel between 30 days and 1 week before 3:00 pm AKST on the day of check-in are charged 50% of the booking amount. Travelers who cancel less than 1 week before 3:00 pm AKST on the day of check-in (including no-shows) are charged 100% of the booking amount.
Terms and Conditions
CHECK-IN:
Check-in is between 4 and 10pm.
Early Check-in: Between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm - all ealy check-ins must be requested and approved at least 24 hours prior to arrival and are subject to a $35 charge.
Guests must provide the credit card used to book the reservation and a matching photo ID at check-in.
CHECK-OUT:
Check-out is by 11:00 am.
Late Check-out: 11:00am-12:00 pm
Late check-out fee: $35
DEPOSIT/PAYMENT:
A deposit equal to 50% of the entire reservation is charged at the time of booking with the remainder charged 7 days prior to check in. Upon check in, a hold in the amount of $250 or less will be requred as an incidental deposit. This hold will be released within 48 hours after check-out and inspection of the accommodation. We send an email reminder a day before the charge. If for any reason the transaction is declined, we will contact you through the provided contact information for updated payment card. Should we be unable to make contact with you within 24 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and retain your original deposit amount. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that Meandering Moose has current contact information and credit card data. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
PETS:
We have limited pet friendly accommodations (dogs only). Please call to inquire about availability. Pet Fee: $50 each, Max 2 dogs.
NOTE: Dogs are not permitted in the Lodge.
SERVICE ANIMALS:
If you suffer from a disability and require the use of a service animal, please contact us for booking and arrangements to ensure we are able to meet your needs.

CHILDREN:
The first child 2 years old or under does not count as an occupant. Additional children of any age will count as an occupant.
LIABILITY:
Smoking is prohibited in all buildings on Meandering Moose Lodging property. Any damage howsoever caused (whether by thedeliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room(s), property’s premises orproperty caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying atthe property during your stay, Meandering Moose Lodging reserves the right to retain your credit cardand/or debit card details as presented at registration and charge or debit thecredit/debit card such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deemnecessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or sufferedby Meandering Moose Lodging because of the aforesaid. Should this damage come to light after theguest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to chargeyour credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the propertyduring your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage,missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc.
In case of cancellation of further guest stayby the hotel caused by misbehavior and disregard of hotel rules, the hotel reserves the right to charge for the remaining length of stay as per reservation.
