Basecamp Policies
Reservations
Reservations may be made up to one year in advance. All reservations require a guarantee and prepayment of the first night. We will confirm your reservation within 24-hours of your booking and charge your credit card for the first day of your stay. Basecamp retains the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the first-day prepayment. You may cancel your reservation free of charge any time before 6 pm the day before your scheduled arrival, and your first-day prepayment will be refunded to you. If a cancellation is made after 6 pm the day before your scheduled arrival, the first-day prepayment will be retained by Basecamp Puyallup. You may cancel a booking made through direct means or on our website by calling the Basecamp directly or emailingbasecamp@north40capital.com. Basecamp will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after completing a cancellation.Reservations made through third-party websites (Expedia, etc) must be cancelled through the booking website.
Your reservation is guaranteed until the 11:59 pm the day of arrival, after that time, it will no longer be guaranteed and your first-day prepayment will be retained by Basecamp. The remainder of your reservation, if more than 1 night, will be cancelled.

- Check-out time: 11:00 a.m. Later check-out times may be granted subject to availability. Late check-out fees may apply.
- You must be 21 to rent a room at Basecamp Puyallup. A valid government issued photo ID is required for all guests over the age of 18.
- A valid credit card that matches the name on the confirmed reservation and the ID provided at check-in is required for all stays.
- Basecamp Puyallup will place a $100 security hold on the active credit card when you check-in. Providing there are no damages or losses to your room after checkout, the security hold will be released to the charged card. It may take the issuing bank 3-5 business days to release any holds.
Property Rules
Basecamp Puyallup observes quiet hours between 10 pm and 6 am on the property. Please refrain from loud music, conversation, and other loud sounds both inside and outside of your room during these hours. Guests who are repeatedly disruptive to other guests may be asked to leave without a refund.The hotel allows guests, with permission, to receive occasional packages and special deliveries at the property; however, we are not responsible for the packages or their contents or the storage of them. Basecamp Puyallup and its employees will not sign for packages or mail on behalf of a guest. Packages that require a signature must be received from the carrier by the receiver.
Basecamp Puyallup is a non-smoking property except where designated. This policy applies to traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoke or other scents in a room will result in a $250 room cleaning fee. Smoking within 25 feet of entrances will also result in the same charge. Please ask the front desk for the location of our designated smoking areas.
Basecamp Puyallup does not permit the consumption of alcohol or open alcohol containers in public areas; so, please do so only in the privacy of your own room. We reserve the right to ask guests who are exhibiting signs of intoxication in public areas to return to their assigned room or leave the property.
Extending Your Stay
If you would like to extend your stay with us, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check-out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans. If necessary, this accommodation may necessitate relocating you to a similar room. Stay extensions will be at the current rate and may not include any discounts previously received. Reservations that were booked through a third-party (Expedia, etc.) will need to have a new direct booking beginning the date of check-out. Our front desk agents are always happy to assist you with longer stays.Children Policy
Children 17 and under stay free when occupying the same room with an adult family member – subject to room capacity limitations. Children over the age of 17 may incur an additional guest fee. All guests under the age of 18 must be under supervision at all times.
Pets
Basecamp Puyallup only allows dogs. We have a maximum of two pets per room and no more than 100 lbs. There is a per pet room deposit as well as a per stay/per pet charge. The deposit is $100 per pet. The charges are $35 for one dog or $60 for two dogs for stays 7 days or fewer. For longer term stays, please ask the front desk agent – please inform the front desk agent about your animals when you check in. Pets must be cleaned up after and may not be left unattended. Pets must be leashed at all times while outside on the property. Not informing the front desk of your pet(s) will result in an addition $100 charge to your room in addition to normal pet fees and deposits. Not following pet policies will result in the forfeiture of your pet deposit. As always, registered service animals stay free.

Room Damages
A detailed inspection of the room is made before and after each guest and we reserve the right to charge for any damages or missing items. Any property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value. Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to the front desk immediately after checking in to your room to avoid responsibility and potential charges.

Kitchenettes
Please practice safe cooking habits do not leave burners on unattended. Please do not cook with strong smelling ingredients. Lingering smells that require room closure and deep cleans will be charged a cleaning fee of $100. Non-kitchen rooms are notrated for appliances other than those already included. Please do not bring AirFryers, Electric skillets, or other cooking appliances into rooms. Notfollowing this policy will result in a $200 damage and cleaning charge. Each kitchenette comes equipped with various kitchen items as listed inside a cupboard door of each kitchenette. Basecamp reserves the right to ask unauthorized or unregistered persons to leave the property at any time. Basecamp will, however, cooperate with legal authorities in all investigations of illegal activity. Additionally, Basecamp will report illegal activity on the property to the proper authorities and cooperate with subsequent investigations, including guest information if requested.
In accordance with RCW 19.48.110, fraudulently obtaining or refusing to pay (including disputing charges) of incurred hotel charges is a felony. Basecamp reserves the right to pursue all such actions to the fullest extent of the law.
Basecamp Puyallup assumes no responsibility for any property damage or loss, or personal bodily injury incurred on the property.
Parking Policy
Basecamp Puyallup does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property. And if you plan on leaving your car in our parking lot for a while, not problem, please let us know, as we reserve the right to tow vehicles.Minimum Age Policy

Any guest or visitor who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, state and local laws with respect to firearms. Subject to the following restrictions, guests of Basecamp Puyallup who are lawfully permitted to possess a firearm may bring such firearm onto hotel premises, provided that the presence of the firearm on hotel premises: is for storage purposes only; the firearm is and remains at all times unloaded; the firearm is and remains secured in a locked, hard-sided firearm container, provided by the guest, while transported to or from the guest room and while stored therein; and the firearm remains securely safeguarded at all times in a locked guestroom or locked personal vehicle, except when transporting the firearm to or from a guest room. Guests who fail to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises, without refund. The hotel premises are private property, and our firearms policy applies to: (i) all firearms, regardless of whether the firearm is a handgun or a long-barreled gun; and (ii) all guests and visitors, even those possessing a valid license or permit to carry a firearm. The only exception to the restrictions described in this firearms policy statement is for law enforcement officers and designated military personnel, who are on-duty and are required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties.Guest Safety

This policy includes the taking of or delivery of messages or indirect forwarding of phone calls. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from. Safety cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded.Basecamp reserves the right to ask unauthorized or unregistered persons to leave the property at any time.
