Terms and Conditions
- Standard Check-in and Check-out Time.Check-in time is at 2:00 PM; Check-out time is at 12:00 Noon. Early check-inand late check-out are subject to room availability. If available, charges may apply. Night extensions are subject to availability.
- High-Balance. The Hotel reserves the right to collect partial payment from the total running bill in the event that a guest has a high running balance in his/her room account.
- Discounts. Government-granted discounts such as Senior Citizens’ Discounts and PWD Discounts or those granted by the Hotel through promotions and offers shall not be used in conjunction with other discounts, special offers, and/or promotions.
- Tax-Exempt Guests. Guests may avail tax exemption provided they present their VAT Exemption Certificate and/or 2306/2307 upon booking their reservation. If tax exempt requirements cannot be verified, the published rates will apply.
- Parking. Free parking is available at the Hotel. Availability is limited and is provided on a first come, first served basis.
- Child Policy. Children above four feet (4” ft) in height will be considered as an adult. Two (2) children will be considered as one (1) adult.
- Pet Policy. Pets are not allowed in the Hotel’s rooms and premises.
- Non-Smoking Policy. Hotel Areca is 100% smoke free. Smoking is not allowed in all areas of the hotel, including the hotel lobby, food and beverage outlets, hallways, restrooms, function rooms, and guest rooms. Smoking inside the room is prohibited. A P10000 deep cleaning surcharge will be applied for violators.
- Key Cards. Only registeredguests with valid identification will be issued key cards or be allowed accessinto the guest’s room. In case keycards are damaged, misplaced, or lost, a Php500.00 charge applies for each Hotel Keycard. Key cards must be returned to the Front Desk upon check-out.
- Alcohol Policy. Registered guests oflegal age who choose to bring their alcoholic beverages must consume those intheir room. Corkage charge will be imposed if consume in our food and beverageoutlets. Alcohol is not allowed in public areas such as parking area, hallway, and hotel lobby.
- Special Requests. If you have any special requests, you must advise us at the time of making your reservation. Although we will endeavor to accommodate reasonable requests, we regret neither we nor the Hotel can guarantee any request will be met unless we have written to you with specific confirmation that it will. The fact that a special request has been noted on your confirmation or any other documentation is not confirmation that the request will be met. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed. We do not accept reservations that are conditional upon any special request being met.
- Disabilities and Medical Problems. If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability that may affect your stay, please tell us before making your reservation so that we can advise on the suitability of the chosen room. In any event, you must give full details in writing when making your reservation. If the Hotel reasonably feels unable to accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned, we reserve the right to decline the reservation or, if full details are not given at the time of booking, neither the Hotel nor we are obligated to provide any particular need of the guest.
- Guest Behavior. We do not allow nor permit the staging of indecent, lewd and/or other shows or presentations that go against normally acceptable moral norms or standards. Furthermore, we shall have the right to stop such acts if client conceals such intention from the Hotel’s reputation and image.
- Safety Deposit Box. For your security, a personal electronic safe deposit box has been installed in your wardrobe closet of selected rooms. Kindly leave your electronic safe open prior to your departure. Additional safety deposit boxes are available for your convenience at the Front Desk.
- Visitors and Quiet Hours. The Hotel is closed for all visitors, including guests’ visitors, beginning 11:00 PM, nightly. Visitors beyond 11:00 PM will be required to register at the Front Desk. Loud noise, music, voices, running in the hallways, and loitering are prohibited.
- Do not Disturb. Should you wish not to be disturbed, kindly install the “DO NOT DISTURB” door sign outside your room. For guests’ safety and security, rooms that have their “DO NOT DISTURB” door sign for 24 hours shall be automatically visited by the Front Office Supervisor for a welfare check.
- Maintenance. Please help us maintain our rooms in the best possible condition. If there is anything in your room that requires the attention of our Maintenance or Housekeeping Departments, please dial 180 on your hotel phone for assistance.
- Housekeeping. Dial 180 on your hotel phone for any assistance you may require from our Housekeeping team.
- Security. The Hotel uses closed-circuit television cameras throughout the hotel’s public areas. For your safety, kindly use the door viewer in your room, avoid offers made by peddlers or unauthorized agents, and do not hesitate to report unsavory characters to the Front Desk by dialing 180 on your room phone.
- Food Delivery/Courier Service. For security purposes, guests are required to pick up their food order/parcel/package in the hotel lobby.
- Typhoon. In the event of a typhoon approaching the Province of Albay, detailed information and instructions for the correct emergency procedure will be displayed at the Lobby. Should you require additional information, please call the Front Desk by dialing 180 on your hotel phone.
