The Jeffreys Hotel Extended Stay is a great, clean, convenient place to stay for a few days or even a few weeks or months! We offer king, queen and double bed rooms. All rooms are equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, table and chairs and more! Free wi-fi included as well as each TV is equipped with ROKUs for all of your streaming desires.  Professional laundry services, friendly staff and affordable rates.  The hotel is non-smoking and dog-friendly. We do not offer breakfast. Located just off of Interstate 35 on the south side of Highway 34. Next to Casey's Gas Station, Family Table Restaurant and close to Osceola Foods.

Terms and Conditions

Reservation, Payment, and Cancellation:
1.     A valid debit or credit card are the only acceptedpayment methods and are required to secure a reservation.
2.    A $150 incidental deposit will be authorized on the cardand released after check-out, provided the room is in the same condition asidefrom general housekeeping.
3.    The full reservationamount will be charged 24 hours before arrival. If the payment is declined, TheHotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
4.    Cancellation policy:
       1.     Morethan 48 hours before arrival: 100% refund.
       2.     24-48hours before arrival: Only first night charged.
       3.     Within24 hours or no-shows: no refunds. 
       4.     After check-in: no refunds.

GuestRequirements:
1.     Guests must be at least 21 years old to book areservation.
2.    Guests must provide avalid photo ID upon check-in.
3.    Reservations must includean adult occupant’s full name, contact information, and a valid debit/creditcard.
4.    Maximum Occupancy by RoomType:
       a.      Single-bedrooms – 2 guests
       b.     Multi-bedrooms – 4 guests
       c.      Children6 and older count towards room maximum capacity
       d.     Additionalguests require management approval, or a $250 fine may be incurred.
5.    Parking is limited to 1standard-size vehicle per reservation; oversized vehicles need written approvalfrom Hotel’s management to park on the premises.
6.    A second vehicle must beapproved by The Hotel or it will be subject to towing at owner’s expense.  

Check-in, Check-Out, and Stay Extensions:

1.    Business and Lobby hours:8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.
2.    Check-in: 3:00 p.m.; Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
       a.      Anyguest wanting to extend their stay but who does not pay by 11:00AM on their dayof checkout will be required to leave immediately. Such “holdover” is theft andmay result in law enforcement on site and charges against guest for theft.
3.    Full payment andincidental deposit required at check-in.
4.    Extended stays at the Hotel are intended as temporaryguest accommodations and do not constitute a tenant-landlord relationship. 

Smoking:

1.     All rooms andindoor areas are 100% non-smoking. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapepens, or anything else that produces vapor / smoke.
       a.     $300 smoking fee 1st time & the second offense willresult in cancellation of reservation with NO REFUND nor return of deposit.
       b.     Designatedsmoking area at south end of the building.
       c.      Anysmoking outside of the designated areas (other than personal vehicles) willresult in a $50 charge for the first offense. Second offense will result incancellation of reservation.
       d.     Anylittering, including cigarette butts, results in $100 charge for the firstoffense. Second offense will result in cancellation of reservation.
       e.      Allexterior areas are monitored 24 hours a day by surveillance and suchsurveillance is proof enough to charge guests. 

Pets:

1.    Our hotel is dog friendly but under strict conditions. Ifyou have a dog, please ask to see the Dog Policy Agreement. Any guest foundwith an unauthorized pet in their room will result in immediate cancellation ofreservation with NO REFUND nor return of deposit.   

Roomcare:

1.     Guests stayinglonger than 7 days will have their rooms cleaned weekly and inspections will becompleted for maintenance, safety and violation purposes. Inspections and housekeepingshall be done during appropriate hours of the day but SHALL NOT require noticeof any kind other than knocking of the door to announce staff’s entry.
2.    Any room deemed to haveexcessive unsanitary conditions will be given a warning to clean the roomwithin 24 hours.  If the room is notsanitary upon a re-check, the reservation may be cancelled without refund norsecurity deposit return.
3.    Damages to the room orits contents are the reserving guest’s financial responsibility. If any creditcard on file has insufficient funds to cover the damage, the Hotel will pursuelegal remedies.
4.    Theft of any hotelproperty will result in legal action.
5.    No direct heat oropen-flame cooking is permitted in guest rooms. Violations will result inimmediate cancellation of the reservation without a refund.
       a.      Allowedcooking devices: crockpots, insta pots, microwaves, toaster ovens.
       b.     Whenin doubt, ask the front desk.
       c.      Fireas a result of unapproved cooking devices will result in serious lawsuit.
6.    SUSPECTED USE OF DRUGS OFANY KIND WILL RESULT IN A ROOM INSPECTION AND LAW ENFORCEMENT ENTRY.   

Keycards and Entry:

1.     Anyone caught propping an exterior door open for anyother reason than loading or unloading belongings, may result in a cancelled reservation.
2.     Ifa guest locks himself/herself out of the room during non-business hours(8AM-8PM):
       a.      Nocharge the first time
       b.     $10the second and third time
       c.      Possiblecancellation the fourth time 

Hallwaysand Common Areas:

1.     All indoor/outdoor common areas follow quiet hoursfrom 10:00 pm to 8:00 am daily.
2.    Guests use all commonareas expressly at their own risk.
3.    We do not toleratedisruptive behavior. We will kindly request responsible parties to ceasedisruptive activity and will lean on local law enforcement if escalation isrequired.
4.    Guests who are not fullydressed (shirt, shoes, etc.) will be asked to leave common areas.
5.    Security camerascontinuously record indoor and outdoor public areas and are shared withrelevant local authorities as needed. 

Releaseof Liability:

1.     The Hotel is not responsible for lost or forgottenitems.
2.    The Hotel is not liablefor any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during your stay. It isyour responsibility to take necessary precautions and ensure your own safety.
3.    The Hotel is notresponsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings or vehiclesparked on hotel property.
4.    Guest understands thatattending The Hotel’s facilities may involve voluntary participation inphysical activities both indoors and outdoors, and certain exposure to walks,steps, paths, and roads that are uneven, frozen, and/or covered in snow. Withthese, and all related activities, there is a certain element of risk. Byaccepting this waiver, Guest hereby acknowledges that participation and use offacilities and grounds are at Guest’s own risk, and that Guest assumes allresponsibilities for any and all aspects of participation by both Guest and anychildren who might accompany Guest. This waiver applies to any and allactivities, named and unnamed herein, which are voluntarily participated in byguests and family members & visitors of guests at The Hotel. 

Indemnification& Punitive Damages:

1.     Guests shall indemnify, defend and save harmless TheHotel, its officers, agents and employees from and against any and all loss,cost (including attorneys’ fees), damage, expense and liability (includingstatutory liability and liability under workers’ compensation laws) inconnection with claims, judgments, damages, penalties, fines, liabilities,losses, suits, administrative proceedings, arising out of any act or neglect byany guest, including a guest’s agents, employees, contractors, invitees, representatives,in, on or about The Hotel’s property. This indemnity shall survive thetermination of this Agreement. Guests hereby release The Hotel from any and allliability or responsibility to any guest or anyone claiming through or underany guest by way of subrogation or otherwise for any loss or damage toequipment or property of The covered by any insurance then in force.
2.    The parties hereby agreethat neither party shall be liable for any punitive damages.  

Rightto Refuse Service:

1.     The Hotel reserves the right to refuse service to anyguest who does not comply with these terms and conditions, behavesinappropriately, or poses a risk to the safety and well-being of other guestsor staff members. The Hotel holds the ability to immediately terminatereservations without refund and impose a $250 fine, as well as any otherdamages, if these terms and conditions are violated.  

Interference:
1.    Guests shall use TheHotel facilities in a manner that shall not cause interference with the use oroccupancy of the other guests in any way. Guest’s use hereunder will be done insuch a manner so as not to interfere with or impose any additional expense uponThe Hotel. 

GoverningLaw:

1.    These terms andconditions, as well as any agreement related to any reservation at The Hotel,shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State ofIowa. Any legal actions or demands shall be handled in a court of competentjurisdiction within the State of Iowa. 

Compliancewith Laws, Hotel Rules, and Policies:
1.    Guest agrees to complywith all applicable federal, state, and local laws and The Hotel’s Terms andpolicies governing the Agreement and event, including any rules, regulations orrequests of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and any policies relatedto pandemic conditions.
2.    If any of The Hotel’sTerms are violated by guests or any members of guest’s party, penalties mayapply in coordination with The management team, and the reservation may besubject to immediate cancelation.3.    If any of the federal,state, and local laws are violated, the reservation will immediately be subjectto cancellation without refund.
