El Guayacán Retreat is a luxury property high on the edge of the crater rim of Laguna de Apoyo, Catarina, Nicaragua--with large gardens and spectacular views over the entire Laguna.
The main house has five guest suites each with kingsize beds. Additional beds can be added to some suites upon request. Our upstairs and downstairs suites can be connected by opening access to spiral staircases when requested, creating a large double suite on two floors! Our Cabin Suite is separate from the main house and provides an amazing experience and comfortable space for a couple or young family.
We have special rates for private events such as family gatherings, weddings and birthdays with additional accommodations at our sister hotels. Payment and Taxes: Reservations will be confirmed by a credit card prepayment of your first night stay plus taxes. Please note that this amount is non-refundable. The remaining balance of your stay plus taxes is collected upon your arrival at the hotel, and you may use a different credit card or pay this amount in cash, US dollars or local currency. (Local taxes: 15% IVA and 2% INTUR) Please note: We will apply an additional 5% fee for payment by credit card to cover additional bank charges. Breakfast: All rooms include a continental breakfast, served daily, 7:30 AM-10:00 AM. Other breakfast items on the menu have prices indicated. Lunch and dinner items have prices listed on their respective menus. These items can be paid at check-out. Smoking: All bedroom and shared inside areas are no-smoking. I.D. Requirement and Minors: Everyone that enters the hotel for the first time is required to show a photograph I.D. / Passport with proof of age. We are required to keep a photocopy of this I.D. on file for all persons who enter. We do not allow anyone under 18 years of age onto the premises unless they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anybody.Damage or Loss: Please note that the credit card on file will be used to cover any breakage or damage occurring during your stay. The hotel is not responsible for lost or damaged items, personal injury or other loss. Parking / Security: The hotel has a night security person for keeping an eye on vehicles parked by guests directly in front of the hotel, there is no fee for this service.
