Some ofthese conditions may seem a bit extreme but, they are in place to protect you,your pet, and other guests. Failure tofollow these conditions could result in you being asked to leave the premises. 
SMOKING ORVAPING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN ANY AREAS OTHER THAN THOSE DESIGNATED

We have 3 designatedsmoking areas. The garden area, the BBQ area and the deck along the back of themotel. We ask that you make use of these areas so everyone has a pleasant stay.Butt buckets are provided and we ask that smokers take care to use them. Failureto comply could result in you being asked to leave the premises with no refund.All rooms are non-smoking. Penaltieswill be charged to guests who smoke in rooms. (see Fees Chargeable to Guests)

Prohibition of EV Charging: The motel expressly prohibits the use of its electricity supply forcharging electric vehicles (EVs). This policy applies to all areas of the motelpremises.Liability: Guests found charging EVs on the premises may be subject to additionalcharges or fines to cover the cost of electricity used and any potential damageto the motel’s electrical infrastructure. The motel reserves the right toassess these charges at its discretion.Safety and Compliance: This policy is in place to ensure the safety and compliance with ourinfrastructure capabilities. Unauthorized use of our electrical supply can poserisks to the property and all its guests. And will be considered as stealing.

Please read the rules before entering thepool area. Pool towelsavailable from reception.Failure to follow the pool rules could resultin being banned from the pool. 

Weoffer free laundry facilities. Washing machines and dryers. They all have atimer display; all we ask is that you clean up after yourselves and once yourwashing is done or dried to remove it so it frees machines up for other guests.Thereis also a clothesline at the back of the left side of the motel.

Visitors of registered guests are not permitted inrooms between 7pm – 8am.ROOM KEY – Place the paddle or key into the holder or key switch next to the lightswitch for your air conditioning and lights. Do not remove the key from thetag  Please drop room key in drop box located right side of reception door.Please don’t take the key with you.

Yourroom will be service if you are staying more than three nights. If you have the “do not disturb” sign or no sign atall, on your door your room will not be serviced. Rubbish - thereare small wheelie bins located around the motel for your convenience. If any personal items are left on your bed, your bedwill not be remade. Please let reception know or see the cleaner if she isaround should you require any fresh linen or any additional amenities.

Any damage to motel property, whether accidental or wilful, is theresponsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costsassociated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit cardof the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.

1. All packages left by pets will be picked up and put in bin supplied,no exceptions. (standard public rules really). Waste bags supplied.

2. Pets are not permitted on beds.

3. Pet beds available upon request. Request must be made at time of booking.
4. Pets are not to be left unsupervised in the pet run or rooms atall, no exceptions.
5.Pets must be on a leash when not in room or pet run.
6.Please Note: should you allow your pet to urinateor defecate in the room a special cleaning charge will incur a $200 fee.
7.The owner certifies that he or she is the soleowner of the pet or pets and is solely responsible for any and all acts ofbehaviour of the pet / pet’s whist staying at the motel. Any damage or injuriescaused by such pets will be the sole liability of said owner.

1. Guest is to supplytheir own litter and tray. 
2. Tray to be cleaneddaily. Waste to be placed in industrial bin with the red lid.
3. Cats are not to usebeds or chairs as scratching posts.

Candle, incense,essential oils (diffusing, vaporizing, etc.) areprohibited.  These items and activities will be treated as smoking, a fineaccessed, and the guest may be evicted with no refunds.  

No hair dye to be usedin the shower or bathroom vanity, it causes stains. Which takes extra cleaningto remove. An extra cleaning is needed which could result in your credit cardbeing charged a further cleaning fee.ALCOHOL AND ILLICIT SUBSTANCES INCLUDING MEDICAL CANNABISWe have a strict policyof ‘zero tolerance’ regarding the consumption or possession of illegalsubstances. The consumption of illegal substances (which includes alcohol forthose under the age of 18) is not permitted under any circumstances anywhereon the Motel premises. Any person found in the possession of illegal substanceswill be evicted and reported to the police immediately. In such case the fullbooking amount will be forfeited to us.

Cooking in guest rooms is strictly forbidden by the HealthDepartment with the exception of the use of the kettle, toaster and microwaveprovided. A complimentary guest BBQ is provided for guests wishing to cook ameal. Fees for additional cleaning may apply should guests cook inside a guestroom.  

Please do not pour milk or any food scraps down thebathroom vanity, it causes foul odours to develop in the drain. Dishes can bewashed in the laundry tub where there is dishwashing liquid and spare teatowels provided.

In the interests of quiet enjoyment and respect for all guests at themotel, a no party policy applies to all guests staying at the Spanish LaceMotor Inn. Guests are expected to be respectful of other guests at all timesand to be quiet between 9.30pm and 7am. Any disruptive behaviour willnot be tolerated. Failure to adhere will be asked to leave with no refund.

Smoking in rooms – $300.00 cleaningfee will be charged. Excess cleaning $300.

Lost orstolen keys will incur a $250 fee. Attempts will be made to contact the guestwho will be given the opportunity to return keys taken. Failure to do sowill result in the fee being charged to their credit card or sent to a DebtCollection Agency. In addition, it will be reported to police as theft. The costs of recovery will be added to the originalamount owed.

Guests who have checked in and leave earlier than bookedare not entitled to a partial refund. Under special circumstances, a partialrefund may be given at manager's discretion.
