Some of these conditions may seem a bit extreme but, they are in place to protect you, your pet, and other guests. Failure to follow these conditions could result in you being asked to leave the premises.  

PAYMENT OPTIONS 
All bookings must be secured with a Current and valid Credit Card. A deposit can be paid at the time of booking with full payment required upon arrival. Photo identification MUST accompany all payments. Standard Payments accepted include; ·

5.       Direct deposit – must have cleared funds prior to check-in 

A Payment Processing Fee of 1.11% including GST to all Master Card and Visa Card Transactions and 1.11% on all Debit Card Transactions. This Payment Processing Fee reflects the Merchant Service Fee costs associated with accepting major cards. Spanish Lace Motor Inn engages an independent 3rdparty to provide this service and does not profiteer from any PaymentProcessing Fees received.

Should you pay by direct deposit or cash this fee will be waived. If paying by direct-deposit funds will need to show in our account prior to your check-in date. Confirmation of transfer will be required. 

VISITORS
Visitors of registered guests are not permitted in rooms between 7 pm – 9 am. Visitors must park on the street. 

PARKING SPACES
We only have room for one car park per room. 

TRAILERS, CAMPERS, BOATS ETC,
If we are not busy then yes we would have room, but you would need to unhitch your trailer. If you would prefer not to unhitch, there is plenty of parking on the street. Or, you can unhitch your trailer, boat, etc, put it in your allocated car park, and park your car on the street. Best to contact us prior to your arrival so we can work out the best solution for you. 

ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Charging of electric vehicles STRICTLY PROHIBITED

SMOKING OR VAPING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN ANY AREAS OTHER THAN THOSE DESIGNATED 
We have 3 designated smoking areas. The garden area, the BBQ area, and the deck along the back of the motel. We ask that you make use of these areas so everyone has a pleasant stay. Ash trays are provided and we ask that smokers take care to use them. All rooms are non-smoking. Penalties will be charged to guests who smoke in rooms. Failure to comply could result in you being asked to leave the premises with no refund.

COOKING 
Cooking in guest rooms is strictly forbidden by the Health Department except for the use of the kettle, toaster, and microwave provided. A complimentary guest BBQ is provided for guests wishing to cook a meal. Fees for additional cleaning may apply should guests cook inside a guest room.  

CANDLE, INCENSE, AND ESSENTIAL OILS:
Candles, incense, and essential oils (diffusing, vaporizing, etc.) are prohibited.  These items and activities will be treated as smoking, a fine accessed, and the guest may be evicted with no refunds.  

NO HAIR DYE
No hair dye is to be used in the shower or bathroom vanity, it causes stains. Which takes extra cleaning to remove. An extra cleaning is needed which could result in your credit card being charged a further cleaning fee. 

ALCOHOL AND ILLICIT SUBSTANCES
We have a strict policy of ‘zero-tolerance’ regarding the consumption or possession of illegal substances. The consumption of illegal substances (which includes alcohol for those under the age of 18) is not permitted under any circumstances anywhere on the Motel premises. Any person found in possession of illegal substances will be evicted and reported to the police immediately. In such a case, the full booking amount will be forfeited to us. 

ZERO TOLERANCE PARTY POLICY 
In the interest of quiet enjoyment and respect for all guests at the motel, a no-party policy applies to all guests staying at the Spanish Lace Motor Inn. Guests are expected to be respectful of other guests at all times and to be quiet between 9.30 pm and 7 am
.
PET-FRIENDLY CONDITIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS: (IF APPLICABLE)

1. All packages left by pets will be picked up and put in the bin supplied, with no exceptions. (standard public rules really). Waste bags supplied.
2. Pets are not permitted on beds.
3. Pet beds available upon request. The request must be made at the time of booking.
4. Pets are not to be left unsupervised in the pet run or rooms at all, with no exceptions.
5. Pets must be on a leash when not in the room or pet run.
6.PleaseNote: should you allow your pet to urinate or defecate in the room a special cleaning charge will incur a $200 fee.
7. The owner certifies that he or she is the sole owner of the pet or pets and is solely responsible for all acts of behavior of the pet/pet’s whilst staying at the motel. Any damage or injuries caused by such pets will be the sole liability of the said owner. 
CATS:
1. The guest is to supply their own litter and tray. 
2. Tray to be cleaned daily. Waste is to be placed in an industrial bin with a red lid.
3. Cats are not to use beds or chairs as scratching posts. 

ROOM KEY
Please drop the room key in the drop box located right side of the reception door. Please don’t take the key with you. 

PROPERTY DAMAGE
Any damage to motel property, whether accidental or wilful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.

FEES CHARGEABLE TO GUEST'S ACCOUNTS INCLUDE, AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

Smoking in rooms – A $200.00 cleaning fee will be charged. Excess cleaning is $200.
Lost or stolen keys will incur a $250 fee. Attempts will be made to contact the guest who will be given the opportunity to return the keys taken. Failure to do so will result in the fee being charged to their credit card or sent to a Debt Collection Agency.
