Property and Cancelation Policies :
For Argentines / Residents of Argentina: The reservation is confirmed with a national deposit / bank transfer of 20% of the total rate.
For foreigners/ Non residents of Argentina: A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. You can choose to enter your credit card details on a secure server or you can provide a phone number and we will call you. Credit cards will only be debited if one or more of the following conditions occur.
Cancellation Policy: When we confirm a booking we guarantee not to sell the room or rooms to anyone else and to do everything we can to make sure you have a truly memorable experience while at Estancia La Sofia. Being a small and exclusive hotel, each cancellation or last minute change (such as checking out before the established date) causes us an important loss of revenue. Because of this, Estancia La Sofia has the following Cancellation Policy:
- Standard Rate: You can cancel your reservation up to 60 days before arrival. If the cancellation is made less than 60 days before the arrival date, 50% of the total amount will be charged and deducted from your credit card, of which half of the amount paid (minus credit card payment costs) will be redeemable as a voucher for another stay at La Sofia (valid for a year). In case of no-show, the total amount of the stay will be charged.
-Non-refundable and special rates and bookings for CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR (20th December to 6th January) and EASTER: bookings for this period are non-refundable. In case of cancellation of your booking, the total amount of the reservation will be charged without any cancellation, modification or refund.
Terms and Conditions
PAYMENTS:
Payments are in cash and in US$ (please ask for ev. discounts with cash payment) or by bank transfer. We do not accept Credit Cards but only take the Credit Card information as guaranty. Credit cards are charged only as a guarantee in case of and in accordance with the informed cancellation policy.
TAXES/ VAT:
Foreigners and non-residents of Argentina pay a reduced VAT, which is not included in the Room Rate, if they pay by international bank transfer and provide a copy of the passport of all guests staying.
Argentine residents must pay 21% VAT, which is not included in the Room Rate.
CHILDREN at La Sofia:
At La Sofia we enjoy receiving children of any age. Babies up to 1 year are free of charge. Children from 2 to 9 pay 50% of the normal rates and an extra bed for them will be added to Superior (1 child) or Grand Suite category (2 children). Only the Grand Suite es apt for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.
