La Botánica is an 8 bedroom boutique hotel in the vibrant city of San Juan, just a few steps from the beach with an amazing culinary & night scene. La Botánica is an urban Shangri-La lovingly curated & designed by our founder Sylvia De Marco. This hotel used to be her home. A lot of her incredible collection of contemporary local art & family furniture can be experienced here. Our urban eden offers daily morning yoga in a luscious garden followed by a nourishing Ayurvedic chef breakfast. In the living space you’ll find complimentary coffee & tea available 24/7 and a specialty shop curated with local crafts, jewelry and souvenirs. On Friday nights, La Botánica transforms into a pop-up restaurant with a special featured vegan chef who sources from local farms to bring you exciting and fresh flavors. In order for your reservation to be confirmed, you will be charged the entirety of the booking rate to the credit card listed on file. Any additional purchases during your stay will also be charged to that credit card unless guests provides new credit card information.Waiver
Every guest must fill out an online registration waiver before check- in.
Do you allow Pets?
YES! We are dog friendly-- up to 50lbs. With your pet's stay, we will include eating and drinking bowls, a doggy-bed for sleeping (as dogs are not allowed on the people beds), and special treats for them. There is a limit of 2 pets per room. Your dog must be kept on a leash at all times while in our communal areas. You can walk them and have them use the restroom on the streets surrounding our house. (There are many well-lit, green areas they can use.) However, you are required to pick up after them. The fee is $50/night/ dog. Is Breakfast included in the rate?
Yes, our standard 1-course, vegan Ayurvedic breakfast is included in the rate. Served every morning from 09:00 am-11am.What form of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diner's Club.Do your rates include all fees and taxes?
Rates are subject to a 9% room tax. There are no other service fees.What is your Cancellation Policy?
If the booking is canceled less than 30 days before arrival, then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made. If the booking is canceled less than 7 days before arrival, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. In the event of a no-show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.Please note: Different cancellation policies may apply when a reservation was made via a 3rd party booking service (e.g. Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia). Those bookings must be canceled through the applicable provider, and cannot be canceled through us.Is Smoking Allowed?
No, smoking is prohibited in the rooms and communal areas. You can smoke outside of the gated portion of our property on the street.Please do not smoke in the rooms, as a $200 smoking fee applies.Do you allow children to stay?
No, we do not allow children at La Botanica Hotel + Wellness Center. Adults from 18 years and older are welcome to stay with us.
EARLY CHECK-IN: We are happy to welcome you as early as 8 am. While we get your room ready you can drop off your luggage, enjoy our communal areas, have breakfast, explore the neighborhood, or visit the beach.SELF CHECK-IN: After 4 pm, we will not have a host on duty to assist you. However, you are welcome to make a self-check-in, and our host will meet up with you at breakfast the following morning. We will provide any info you need for the self-check-in via email prior to your arrival.
REGULAR CHECK-OUT: 11 am
If guest is not out by 11am, a fee of late check out $50 will be charged to the credit card on file.
Do you have Parking?
There is free parking on the streets around our property. Particularly Cordero St, Atlantic St, and Pacific St. We are not responsible for any damage or stolen goods.
What are your Check-in and Check-out times?
