If you’re looking for a hotel near the beach in sunny Ocean City, NJ, The Tahiti Inn is the perfect place to stay. We're in a prime location just a short walk away from all the excitement of the boardwalk, beach, local restaurants and shops, and activities for the whole family. The hotel is also a short drive to Atlantic City casinos, the Atlantic City Airport and the famous beaches of Wildwood, Cape May, Sea Isle City, Stone Harbor and Avalon.
At the time of booking, a 50% deposit is collected to guarantee the reservation. Reservations canceled 7 days prior to arrival will be fully refunded. Reservations canceled within 7 days of arrival are nonrefundable.

Business Hours & Check-In
- We’re here for you! In season, our front desk is open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
- Check-in: 3:30 PM – We can’t wait to welcome you!

Reservations
- You must be 25 years or older to book a room. Sorry, kids, adulting required!
- Don’t forget your ID – we’ll need to see a valid photo ID when you check in.
- All reservations require the first and last names of all adults staying in the room and a valid credit card to guarantee your arrival.
- Rates are fantastic but subject to change.
- If your reservation includes beach tags, please return them at checkout to avoid a $35 replacement fee.
- Taxes are 11.625% (Ocean City rules) – we know, we know, taxes aren’t as fun as the beach.
- Occupancy limits: Two guests max in rooms with one bed (Queen or King), and four guests max in rooms with multiple beds.
- Traveling with a little one? We’ve got pack-and-plays and cribs available upon request (subject to availability).
- Parking is easy – one spot per reservation.
Payments & Age Policy
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and debit cards.
- At check-in, we’ll charge the remaining balance of your stay (room + tax) to your card.
Cancellation Policy
- Life happens – we get it. If you cancel 7+ days before arrival, we’ll refund your deposit minus a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel within 7 days of arrival, the deposit is non-refundable.
- The deposit is 50% of the total cost of your stay.
Room Policies
- Accidents happen, but if something gets damaged or goes missing, the cost will be charged to your card.
- Notice anything off when you check-in? Let us know right away to avoid being held responsible for pre-existing issues.
- Keep the good vibes rolling, but from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM, we ask that everyone keep things quiet so all our guests can rest easy.
Smoking Policy
- Take a deep breath – The Tahiti is a smoke-free zone. This includes traditional smoking, vapes, e-cigs, hookahs, and anything else that makes smoke or vapor. Smoking in the rooms or leaving behind a smoky scent will result in a $250 cleaning fee (and a sad face from us).
Pet Policy
- We love furry friends, but unfortunately, we aren’t able to accommodate pets.
Alcohol Policy
- Ocean City keeps it family-friendly, so no alcohol in public spaces and no underage drinking.
Pool Policy
- Splash around from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- No lifeguard on duty – swim at your own risk.
- Smoking is not allowed in the pool area.
Room Refresh Policy
- We offer limited room refreshes during your stay. Need fresh towels or linens? Just give the front desk a call – we’re happy to help!
Guest Safety
- Your Privacy Matters: We’ll never share your info or room number with anyone, and only registered guests can access rooms.
- Safe & Sound: Our hotel is equipped with security cameras, well-lit areas, and regular patrols to help keep things secure.
