The cancellation fee will be applied to the credit card that was used to book the accommodation.

Hotel Policies
Intent: The Lakes Golf Club & Resort believes it is important to establish clear expectations of our guests and the services in which we provide to ensure a first-class customer experience.
Guidelines: The following hotel policies have been established to assist in the above efforts.
CHECK-IN Check-in is any time after 4 PM. Guest will be required to present a valid piece of government issued photo ID. Early check-ins are not guaranteed.
CHECK-OUT Check-out is at 11 AM. Charges may be applicable for late check-out.
PRICES & TAXES All base rate prices are subject to 15% hst (harmonized sales tax) and a 3% provincial room levy.
PAYMENT & TERMS During the time of Check-in, a credit card will be held on file and will be pre-authorized for the amount owing on the room plus a $200 per night deposit. At the time of check-out, you will be charged the full rate of your stay as well as any additional charges to your room that occurred during your length of stay.
CANCELLATION POLICY From May 1st to October 31st, we require seven (7) days advance notice of your cancellation to avoid cancellation fees. During this period any cancellations received within 7 days of arrival but outside 2 days of arrival, will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the confirmed booking amount. Any cancellations made within 2 days of your arrival date will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the confirmed booking amount.

ROOM DAMAGE & INCIDENTALS We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel's property or structure. This also is inclusive of in room/chalet items that are stolen. Patrons will be charged $150 if USB Speakers are removed from chalets.
THEFT/LOSS/DAMAGE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY The Lakes Golf Club & Resort is not responsible for theft, loss or damage to any valuables or personal property.
THEFT/LOSS/DAMAGE OF RESORT PROPERTY Resort owned items, include but not limited to TV remotes, hair dryers, irons, bath robes and kitchen supplies. Lost or damaged items will be replaced and charged to the guest via the credit card on file.
NON-SMOKING POLICY The Lakes Golf Club & Resort is committed to providing its guests and associates with a smoke-free environment. Although smoking is not permitted within hotel buildings, guests are permitted to smoke outside in designated areas.
• Guests who do not comply will be charged a room-recovery fee of $500 to restore guest rooms to a smoke-free condition.
LOST KEY POLICY Upon check-in, you are provided with a singular key for your room. This key is to be returned to Guest Services upon check-out.
• Guests who do not return their key will be key and lock replacement fee of $100.
PARKING Hotel guests will have access to our parking lot. Please note; The Lakes Golf Club & Resort is not liable for any damage or theft during your stay.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance these Terms and Conditions. While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

• Phone number
• Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City
COOKIES AND USAGE DATA We may use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send or by contacting us. No data is shared with third parties, and is only used to improve future service to you and other perspective guests.
WEDDINGS & SPECIAL EVENTS Each wedding and special event that takes place on the property will be subject to a contractual agreement where all prices, services and processes will be mutually agreed upon between the interested party and The Lakes Golf Club & Resort.
