Our riverside property is nestled in the heart of a diverse secondary jungle where you will take in the sounds of the river flowing, the howler monkeys howling high in the trees and the toucans calling out to one another. Immerse yourself in nature alongside beautiful green mountains, privately secluded but conveniently only minutes away from the many beautiful pacific coast beaches, and five star restaurants. We offer a traditional Costa Rican style (Tipico) breakfast included in your stay.
Soak up the sun or take a dip in our large fresh saltwater pool. Make your way under our cascading waterfall and into the grotto (underwater cave), or sip on a cocktail or margarita at our swim up bar. Property and Cancelation Policies :
Refunds & Cancellation Policy - We require a 50% deposit for each night of the stay in order to confirm and hold your reservation. The hotel has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the deposit or your credit card on file does not approve the transaction. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after canceling your booking. If you (the guest) need to cancel, we require an email to “info@scarletvillas.com” and will confirm receipt and approval of cancellation as needed. Please carefully read our cancellation policy. Rarely can we make any exceptions to this but we will review and determine if we can accommodate due to certain circumstances. Policies:
- Cancellations that are made more than 7 days in advance of check-in date, the total amount of the deposit (if it has been charged) will be refunded.
- Cancellations that are made less than 7 days in advance of check-in date, the total amount of the deposit (if it has been charged) is non-refundable.
- Cancellations that are made in less than 24 hours before the check-in date and time (2pm CST) or in the case of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.
- There is only one way in which we can acknowledge a cancellation request you must send a cancellation request stating the reservation number via email to the following address: info@scarletvillas.com
Terms and Conditions
Check-In - Check-in is at 2pm local time. The balance of the full villa rental amount is payable on arrival at check-in time. Please note that check-in cannot be completed until full payment and security deposit pre-authorization for the villa has been received and approved. A villa key is provided at check-in time after the full rental amount has been settled. The cost of any keys needing replacement will be taken from the deposit. During the check-in process, our manager/concierge will provide you with any information which may be required during your stay such as the location of near-by beaches, waterfalls, good places where you can eat, sights you may like to see, etc. Always ask us for anything that would make your stay more enjoyable and convenient.
Check-Out - Check-out is at 11am local time. Later check-out times may be requested and subject to availability. At check-out time please drop keys at the front desk area located at the lobby on the bottom of the property. Contact our manager Aaron on WhatsApp to come and check you out. Please note that a more detailed inspection of the villa is usually made after the check-out time and we reserve the right to make charges for any damages or breakages found before the villa is occupied again.
Cleaning - Bed linens and towels are provided. White towels are used for bath/shower cleansing while the blue and white towels are for the pool. Please do not bring the hotel towels to the beach. Should you need fresh towels or linen, please send a WhatsApp message or call Heather (our manager) at +1 703 462 3318.Villas are cleaned, sanitized and bed linens / towels are replaced every 3 days for guests that stay for 3 days or longer. We ask that you coordinate with us upon check-in to confirm the date of your cleaning or to let us know that you do not want the services. If you are staying for a shorter amount of time and want these services or would like an extra cleaning, we would need to know this upon check-in or it may not be possible. Laundry service may be requested at a charge of $20 USD.
No Smoking Policy - Smoking is not allowed in villas or surrounding community areas. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $100 room cleaning fee. There are plenty of natural walking areas where you can enjoy. Breathe easy.
Damages - During your stay, the villas, all equipment and furniture should be treated with care and kept in order. Immediate notification to staff will be expected of any damages or breakages in the villa.You (the guest) are financially responsible for any damage to the villa. A summary check will be made of the villa check-out time. However, a more detailed review of the condition of the apartment and all equipment and facilities will be made soon after check-out and before another guest occupies the apartment. The guest is responsible for any damages or breakages found that are over and above normal wear and tear and usage. In this case, a detailed statement of damage along with an invoice for the repair or replacement cost will be sent by email immediately.. Please note, immediate notification after check-out of any damages to, breakages or missing items with the villa is expected. The Scarlet Villas can then take any necessary action to resolve any issues and make sure all the equipment and facilities are working and provided as expected.
Pet Policy - Pet fee is $25 per pet per night. Maximum of 2 pets per villa. Pets must be on leash at all times while on the property. Please clean up after your pet.
