Located minutes from the lively atmosphere of Koh Samui’s famous Fisherman’s Village,

Property and Cancelation Policies :
The following terms and conditions are strictly implemented for check-in guests:

1. The resort is only authorized to accommodate properly registered guests. For this purpose, guests are to present their  valid passport for foreigners, and a valid government ID or valid passport for local residents should be presented upon check-in. A reservation may be denied without refund for any refusal or inability to present valid identification. The Resort requires guests who reserved by online to present their credit cards used to complete the booking at check-in. card or passport, or any other valid proof of identity to the relevant hotel front desk employee.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you and other members of your party obtain the right inoculations and medical advice before you travel. Similarly, it is your responsibility to ensure that you and other members of your party have correct and valid passports, visas and have conformed to all other requirements pertaining to your travel arrangements before the holiday commences.

2.  Settlement of bills: Bills must be settled upon arrival either by payment in cash or valid credit cards, cheques are not accepted.
Payment can be made by either international bank transfer (net of bank fees), or cash, or credit card. If Maya Resort does not receive the balance by the due date, Maya Resort  reserves the right to cancel the booking and cancellation charges will apply.

 On the basis of an advanced booking the hotel is to pencil book any reservation made and 50% security deposit must be done by hotel guest for confirmation of booking.
 Reservation Fee: 50% of the total contract price to be deposited in the Resorts Bank Account. Inform us for reservations, so we can give you our bank details. 

Cancellation Policy: 
      Full refund of reservation fee for cancellation made 15 working days prior to the scheduled reservation
      30% refund of the reservation fee for cancellation made less  than 7-15 working days.            
      Forfeiture of deposit will be imposed for cancellations made less than 7 working days prior to arrival date.
      Failure to arrive at the hotel is subject to a 100% cancellation fee. 
      No refund of cancellation during your stay 

   Rebooking Policy:
       Re-booking must be done 15 working days prior to date of arrival, otherwise re-booking may not be permitted.
       Early check-in/Late check-out privileges are subject to availability
       Rooms will be held until 9 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. If you are unable to use your room and fail to arrive  without informing us of your late arrival, rooms will be released and reservation fee will be forfeited.
       The hotel may offer guests who ask to extend their stay a different room to the one in which they were originally accommodated.
       Hotel keys must be deposited at the reception desk whenever guest leaves the premises and at the time of check out. We charge  500 THB  for any lost keys 

   Date Changes
        If you wish to change the date of reservation, it can be done so by sending an e mail to rsvn@mayaresortsamui.com 
        If the rate for the alternate reservation date(s) is less than the original rate, the excess money can be utilized against extra expenditure at the hotel during your stay.
        If the rate for the alternate reservation date(s) is higher than the original rate, the balance must be paid by you before departure.Date changes will be done subject to availability.

3.   Guests are to use their rooms for the agreed period. If the guest breaks their stay, money will not be refunded.

4.  Guests are to use their rooms for the agreed period. If the period of accommodation is not stipulated in advance, guests are to check out by 11:00AM on the last day of their stay at the latest, and they are obliged to have vacated the room by this time.
The Maximum Occupancy in Garden view  villa is 2 people.An extra person will be charged at 500 THB per night (for any person requesting extra bed ), 
  Garden view  villa allows maximum 1 extra guest (adult), and 1 children in  baby cot. Baby cot is provided free of charge upon request at the booking.Extra beds are subject to availability at the time of confirmation or request at the reception


5.   Be advised to keep valuables in your personal rooms.A safe is at hand to keep valuables secured. Keep your doors lock closed when not in the room or when you are sleeping.  The resort  will not in any whatsoever, be responsible for the loss of guests belongings or any other property.
 The Resort is not liable for such loss if there is negligence on the part of the guest, and after investigation, there is no evidence to warrant any negligence or mischief on the part of the Resort or its staff.

6.   Smoking is prohibited in all guest bedrooms, living rooms.If a smoking violation occurs, the client will be charged a 5000 THB cleaning fee, each time. Smoking is allowed outdoors, on all balconies and terraces of the villa, or in the restaurant. The usage of ashtrays is obligatory.

7.   Eating durian in the villa or balcony is prohibited.Fine 5000 thb 

8.    Linen and towels are provided at the Villas. These are normally changed every three (3) days. If you require more frequent changes there may be extra charges.

9.    
Functions and parties are not permitted in the villas and its premises. No exceptions. The only guests that are to occupy the villas are those who are registered with the Resort on check-in. Visitor limits apply and are enforced.
       You are responsible for compliance with all relevant regulations applicable to the resorts during your holiday.
        If in the opinion of our Management your behavior is disruptive or causing distress, injury or danger to other clients, our staff or any other third party, your reservation may be terminated and we shall not be responsible for any costs or claims that are incurred.You are strongly recommended to take out personal travel insurance, at the time of booking, for all members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is adequate. 
Guests are to observe night time peace and quiet, they are not to disturb the other guests accommodated in the hotel.

10.We no longer allow bringing of Pets Inside the Resort.
    Guests are obliged to observe the provisions of these house Rules. In the event that a guest is in breach of these rules, the hotel has the right to repudiate the agreement on the provision of accommodation services before the agreed period has elapsed.
