Inn Policies - By checking in and/or accepting your room key at LaVeta Inn, you are agreeing to the following posted policies and understand the related consequences/associated fees for not adhering to them.  Any additional assessed fees will be charged to the credit card on file.  Should you not agree with the policies, and decide not to stay, our standard cancellation policy will apply. CHECK-IN/OUT Check-in time is 3:30 pm, and checkout time is 10:00 am. CANCELLATIONS  $75 non-refundable deposit.  10-day cancellation policy.  Any modifications resulting in a reduction in your stay or cancellations made within 10 days of your stay, will be charged for the entire stay.   Any no-call/no-show will be charged for the entire stay duration. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:   LaVeta Inn is privately owned and operated.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate Federal or State laws.  LaVeta Inn has a zero-tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in our hotel or may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established by the State of Colorado and the owners for the operation and management of the hotel. LaVeta Inn will refuse service or evict a guest: for refusal or failure to pay for accommodations, is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests, or is not in compliance with state liquor laws; acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; is unable to properly supervise their children at all times, seeks to use the hotel for an unlawful purpose; seeks to bring into the hotel: a firearm; or something, including an explosive or hazardous or toxic substance, that is unlawful to possess and that may be dangerous to other persons; destroys, damages, defaces, or threatens harm to hotel property or guests; causes or permits persons to exceed the maximum allowable occupancy of the room, refuses to abide by the reasonable standards or policies established by LaVeta Inn for the operation and management of our Inn. WEAPONS  No guns or other weapons are allowed on the premises for your safety and that of other guests SMOKING  This is a SMOKE-FREE facility, this includes vaping.  Smoking in the rooms or in the Inn is a minimum of $150 cleaning fee, identified by sight or smell.  There is a designated smoking section in the back of the hotel. PETS Not all room types are pet friendly.  Dogs, including therapy and emotional support animals, are only allowed in the Courtyard Rooms with advance notice, a maximum of 1.  All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while on the property and in town for your safety and the safety of others. Pets off-leash will result in a $150 fee.Please be aware that a non-refundable pet fee of $40 will be charged to your account prior to check-out to cover the cost of additional and necessary cleaning in preparation for our next guest. If room fumigation is required due to pest infestation an additional fee over and above the cleaning fee will apply. Your hotel account will be charged for the repair or replacement cost for any damage caused by your pet.We reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behavior including but not limited to, biting, excessive noise (such as barking), evidence of disease, or urination/defecation in public areas. No more than one (1) pet may occupy a guest room. Each guest is responsible for all charges that relate to the removal of his/her pet, including but not limited to transportation and kennel charges.  DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF HOTEL PROPERTYYou are liable for any damage caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room (s), hotel’s premises, or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay. LaVeta Inn reserves the right to retain your credit card as presented at registration and charge such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by LaVeta Inn.  Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Inn property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee,  guest compensation, etc.   LOST KEY FEE  $50, please remember to leave your room key in the drop box at the front desk when checking out LOST & FOUND POLICYLaVeta Inn assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.  LIABILITYLaVeta Inn is not responsible for accidents or injury to guests. CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE HOTEL POLICY/HOUSE RULES:LaVeta Inn reserves the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, vary or add to these Hotel Policies/House Rules or the arrangements and content featured on our Hotel website at any time without prior notice.
