We opened our Townhouse rooms in 2021 and originally it was set up to accommodate our dinner guests so it's not a hotel in the conventional sense. All of our rooms are accessed via stairs. We don't have a reception (check-in must be scheduled and is available up until 9pm), a bar or communal areas but our compact and cosy rooms have everything you might require for a couple of nights in Kenmare to discover the Beara and Iveragh Peninsulas and Ring of Kerry. Other useful information (e.g parking) and terms and conditions of booking are listed at the end of this page. Lagom restaurant, situated downstairs is accessible by a separate entrance, just a short walk from the townhouse. The restaurant can be reserved via our website. Evenings spent in lovely Kenmare town will always be fondly remembered. We offer all residents complimentary breakfast (served between 8.30am-10am) each morning as part of your stay. The Townhouse rooms are suitable for adults only (16+ years). The Townhouse is in the centre of Kenmare, all rooms are overlooking Henry Street allowing you easy access to everything the town has to offer. The rooms (all en-suite) are individually named and decorated with tones and fabrics in keeping with the 'Lagom' theme of 'not too much, not too little, just right,' acknowledging the natural beauty that surrounds us in Kenmare. Check-in notes: Your room will be ready by 3pm. We do not operate a reception so check-in time must be scheduled before arrival. Please let us know your estimated time of arrival so we can meet you at the property for check-in and access to the house. We are unable to offer check-in times to the property after 9pm (Sundays the latest check-in time is 7pm). Reservations of 3 or more rooms: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total booking is due at the time the reservation has been made. Please contact the property by email to receive details of T\u0026Cs for group bookings including cancellation policies. The house is not suitable for groups celebrating Stag or Hen nights. There are free car parks on Shelbourne Street and Railway Road. Cancellation policy: If you wish to cancel your reservation please email info@lagom-kenmare.ie to do so. You will receive confirmation of your cancellation. Cancellations of 1-2 rooms made more than 14 days prior to your due arrival date are free (unless other terms have been agreed in advance). Cancellations or modifications of reservations made less than 14 days prior to the due arrival incur a charge of the full accommodation price of the reservation. For group bookings of 3 or more rooms, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total booking is charged at the time of booking. If the group of rooms is modified or canceled 21 days prior to the due arrival date there will be no further charge. If any changes or cancellations are made to the group room less than 21 days prior to the due arrival date, the total cost of the reservation will be charged. The townhouse is right on the street and rooms are accessed via flights of stairs. the townhouse is not suitable for children under 18 years, and we don't accommodate parties such as Hens or Stags gatherings. We include a sweet 'fika' on arrival to your room to help you settle in. Your room will be ready by 3pm, we don't operate a reception at the property so it is necessary to schedule a time, in advance of the day of arrival, to be met for check-in. The latest check-in we offer is 9pm, and on Sundays latest check-in is 7pm. Check-out is up until 11am. Lagom Restaurant is located (separate entrance that is reached by leaving the townhouse) downstairs from the Townhouse and we would be happy to reserve you a table if you wish. Breakfast is complimentary to our residents and is served each morning between 8.30am-10am in Lagom Restaurant with house baked breads, house made preserves, and a variety of hot dishes to choose from on the menu.
