TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Check in Time: 3 pm onward. Please notify the property in advance if arriving after 9pm.
Check out Time: 10 am

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION
•Please note that room numbers are not guaranteed and can be changed as required by the property.
• Our standard cancellation policy is 48 hours. Excluding bookings over $500, weekly rate, discounted special or group bookings. These are all paid upfront and non refundable.
•Once inside the 48 hour cancellation policy bookings will be pre charged, as from then are non refundable. Credit Card on booking will be charged. Please note the credit card fee is 3.5%. If you wish to pay an alternative way you must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
•Please note Black Sheep Backpackers alcohol Policy, which is no drinking after 8:30pm (excluding special events periods where further restrictions may be in place).
• If payment cant be taken  (card declines) we have the right to cancel your booking, due to lack of payment 
•Persons who are not a guest of Black Sheep are not allowed on the property. Any extra people will be charged and asked to leave immediately.
•The property has the rights to refuse any booking and bookings can be cancelled at the discretion of the property.
•The property has a maximum stay of 27 Nights. 

COVID 19 TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• Self Isolation is not permitted due to the nature of our premises. Upon booking you understand it’s your own responsibility to organise self-isolation if required before, during or after your stay.
• If you are unable to travel due to COVID-19 the standard cancellation policy applies. We highly recommend travel insurance that covers you for illness such as COVID.

CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW
• If the guest doesn’t show up on the first night of their booking, the booking will be cancelled the next day and it is non-refundable.
• 48 hours cancellation policy applies to regular bookings.
• Group bookings are non-refundable and no cancellation.
• Bookings over $500 are non-refundable and no cancellation.
• We do not provide refunds for weather events, travel delays or road closures. We recommend that you take out travel insurance for your vacation.

PROMO OCTOBER 3 X 2 
• 3 night minimum from Oct 1st until Oct 31st.
• This booking will be charged in full at the time of making the reservation, at this stage it is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance.
• Only able on Deluxe King Room
• Only able for new bookings.
• Only able for direct bookings
• This promo code can be removed without previous notice

PROMO NOVEMBER 10% DISCOUNT
• 2 night minimum from Nov 1st until Nov 30th.
• This booking will be charged in full at the time of making the reservation, at this stage it is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance.
• Able for all our types of dorms and rooms.
• Only able for new bookings.
• Only able for direct bookings
• This promo code can be removed without previous notice

GROUP BOOKINGS
• Please note any group booking not made direct can be cancelled at the discretion of the property and any bookings which are made separate that are deemed to be together can be charged or cancelled by the discretion of The Black Sheep Backpackers.
• Groups are classes as 6 people travelling together at the same time.
• $50 CASH deposit per person on arrival and needs to be paid as security deposit for the whole group (example.6 Adults x $50 = $300), refundable after check out.
• Full payment is required at the time of making the reservation and it’s non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance from this stage
• One credit card per room as a security for hostel damages.

CAMPERVANS
• Vans should not be more than 2.8 meters long.
• We do not have camping site only van site so putting up a tent is not possible.
• Tables and hanging of clothes on the fences and within the hostel is not possible
• Dispose the rubbish properly and do not litter on the parking spaces.
• The price you will see is only for the spot + 1 person, if you are a group of two or more staying in the campervan, there is an additional of $10 per person.

ONLY FOR NEW YEAR’S PERIOD
• 5 night minimum required
• New year’s booking will be charged in full at the time of making the reservation, at this stage it is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance.
• We allow no one under the age of 18 for New Years 28/12 - 03/01
• I.D must be provided at check in. We accept a passport, driver’s license or HANZ 18+ card ONLY.
• There will be a liquor ban in place mirroring the Queenstown Lakes District and liquor cannot be consumed on the premises.
• Group Bookings (6 guests or more) is at the discretion of The Black Sheep Backpackers + the Group Booking Terms and Conditions will apply.

PAYMENT POLICY
• Once inside the 48 hour cancellation policy bookings will be pre charged, as from then are non refundable. Credit Card on booking will be charged. Please note the credit card fee is 3.5%. If you wish to pay an alternative way you must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
• Bookings over $500, weekly rate, discounted special or group bookings. These are all paid upfront and non refundable.
• We accept EFTPOS and Credit card (Credit Card and international card have a 3.5% surcharge). 
• We do NOT Accept CASH
• We also have available towels available $10 deposit + $2 cleaning fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• The standard cancellation is 48 hours, if you cancel inside of this you will be charged the total price and will be charged directly to the credit card details provided at the time of making the booking. (Our office hours are 8am – 9pm each day).
• Bookings over $500, weekly rates, discounted specials/Hot Deals, non-refundable rates, New Years Bookings and group bookings are all non-refundable and non-transferable any circumstance.
• We do not provide refunds for weather events, travel delays or road closures. We recommend that you take out travel insurance for your vacation.
• If you booked via another booking website you will need to cancel with them directly and adhere to their terms and conditions. **New Year's booking is non-refundable no cancellation even you book it with 3rd party Booking Website**
