Property and Cancelation Policies :
Cancellations or modifications within 5 days (including during stay) of arrival date or no-shows will be charged the entire reserved stay (room + tax). See below for more details.
Reservations are charged a 1 night deposit (refundable unless utilizing a non-refundable promotion/discount minus a $50 fee)
Cancellation / rebooking / modification charge: $50 (per room) which can be applied as a credit towards a future stay.
Good faith effort(s): We will, upon notice given, use our best efforts to rebook your room and refund you any difference in recoverable revenue less the cancellation/rebooking fee ($50). Please understand that to accommodate this effort we may have to significantly discount and/or modify your room type. This is not an invitation to ask for - nor for us to provide - 'proof', but a way to reasonably serve our guests due to unforeseen changes/events. Our recovery rates average 50% or better, but this is not a promise, and it differs based on such factors as the amount of notice given, room type, day(s) of the week, and seasonality. We have up to 10 days from the last day of your reserved stay to issue any refund, and this is at our sole discretion.
Terms and Conditions
I understand TGRH's cancellation policy, terms and conditions, and that I am making this booking at my own risk, understanding that should I be unable to stay, or to complete my stay, I will still be charged per the cancellation policy, regardless of the circumstances. We recommend you utilize travel insurance.
I have confirmed the rate, arrival and departure dates.
I have adequately researched the property, my room (type), location, and amenities. I will not, for example, book the standard king room and express surprise/disappointment that it is our smallest room.
I agree to vacate the room by 11:00am on the noted departure date. A late checkout will be subject to a late checkout fee ($25).
I agree that by accepting the room code I have agreed to the terms and conditions and policies of TGRH as outlined per my original booking policies, in addition to checking the box at the time of booking, and/or confirming the booking on any Online Travel Agency (OTA).
I acknowledge there is a limit of one vehicle parking space per night per room; violations are subject to a $50 inconvenience fee to other guests.
I acknowledge only authorized pet(s) and no smoking are permitted in the room. Any unauthorized pets or smoking in the room will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $250.00 and I agree that the credit card provided will be charged for this fee.
I acknowledge TGRH will not be liable for money, jewelry, documents or other items of unusual value.
Important: Housekeeping will not enter your room during your stay unless specifically requested.
I acknowledge that the hot tub, bicycles, surfboards, and boogie boards provided will be enjoyed at my own risk (see specifics below).
This property is privately owned and has the right to refuse service to anyone. Management further reserves the right at all times to terminate tenancy of a guest(s) for reasons the former shall deem objectionable.
I accept full responsibility for any loss, damage or destruction to the property by me or any of my co-occupants or invitees. I agree to pay for such damages in full upon demand and agree that the credit card provided will be charged in full for the cost of any replacement or repair to the building caused during the above stated rental period.I agree that my liability for this bill is not waived and I agree to be held personally liable in the event that the indicated person, company or association fails to pay for any part or the full amount of these charges.
I understand that Commercial photography, production shoots and filming are not allowed on the property without prior written consent and an additional fee.
I understand that Beach Towels are complimentary. Any Beach Towels that are lost will result in a replacement fee of $25.00.
I understand that surf and boogie boards are complimentary and must be returned. Any damaged boards will result in a repair or replacement fee at cost.
I accept that once within the cancellation policy window of 5 days prior to arrival (excluding non-refundable rates or promotions), I will be charged in full for my room and taxes prior to my arrival.
The first night's room charge and taxes will be collected upon confirmation of booking. The remainder of the stay will be collected prior to check-in.
A valid credit card with matching valid government or state-issued photo ID will be required for all reservations at time of booking and check in.
Lost/Unsuccessful Credit Card chargebacks incur a $250 fee for the time & effort to dispute.
If and when a problem arises (important):
We cannot 1) work diligently to resolve the problem and 2) accommodate a credit for that night or any other night’s stay. It is at your discretion to check out early should a serious problem arise and receive a refund for that night’s stay. Serious most commonly refers to mechanical issues such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.; it does not cover matters of preference, taste, opinion, or inconvenience.
Should you not exercise this right, and choose to stay, please do not also expect a refund.
While we undertake the effort(s) necessary to resolve the issue, we ask that you be out of the room. Depending on the hour, we offer $10 gift cards to local shop(s) while you wait. We also offer complimentary late check out if it’s available.
Please do not compound the issue(s) at hand by leaving negative public reviews. We cannot guarantee perfection 100% of the time, but we can assure all of our guests that we are making ongoing reasonable and diligent efforts to avoid mishaps, and, if and when they do occur, to help resolve them as quickly as possible. The sooner you communicate any issue(s) the better. Thank you!
Pet Policy:
We charge a $75 extra cleaning/additional wear & tear fee PER STAY.
Message us to 1) Confirm your pet adheres to the following rules, 2) So we may request & receive the $75 prior to check in.
Not disclosing your pet(s) will result in a cancelation of your stay without refund and/or a charge of $250.
Pet must be 1 small to medium sized (please inquire otherwise), No puppies, Pet must not have a history of any damage to furniture/fixtures. Please consider opting for one of our Suites. Pet must be leashed at all times outside of the room Pet cannot be left unattended in room (inquire for exceptions such as reliably quiet crate-trained animals)
We reserve the right to collect a $250 damage deposit upon check inYou are responsible for any damages (including in excess of $250) which you agree will be charged at our replacement cost (and which you agree to pay within 5 business days of receiving the request & itemization through Airbnb).You are required to clean up after your pet in all areas including the designated pet / bocce ball area (10AM-6PM) behind the south wall at the front of the property
Extra Bed:We can provide a roll-away-bed for an additional $50 per stay convenience charge. Please message & approve no later than noon of the same day it is requested.
Additional/Dedicated Workspace:We can provide a work/study table & chair for an additional $25 per stay convenience charge. Please message & approve no later than noon of the same day it is requested (to be delivered by 4PM).
Surfboards & Bike Rentals:Complimentary for guests. A code will be provided upon request for the bikes.By using them you agree to indemnify The Green Room Hotel & its affiliates from any harm that may occur, regardless of fault and/or the condition of the equipment.For bikers, you acknowledge that you have hereby been advised that helmets are available for rent next door at SoCal Bike.For surfers, you have hereby been advised that you should surf only in lifeguarded areas, and that lessons are available (and recommended) at SoCal Surf Lessons.
Beach gear/games:Complimentary, located behind the gate to the right of the outdoor shower. They include chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, bocce ball, & frisbee. We ask that you take care of each item and be sure to return it.
Snacks & Beverages:Provided for your enjoyment in your room at the prices listed on the card excluding applicable sales taxes. Please mark your card accurately and you will be charged on the credit card on file within 24 hours of check out.Use of
Firepit:In an effort to conserve, we ask that guests turn on & off the fire pit at time of use. By using it you agree to indemnify The Green Room Hotel & its affiliates from any harm that may occur. You have hereby been advised that great caution should be exercised with lighting the firepit. It is recommended you open the gas only slightly and then apply fire from a lighter to one of the outermost metal grate holes and, once lit, turn the gas up safely as preferred. Do not leave the area without turning off the fire pit as it presents a danger to others (especially small children). Careful supervision of any children in your party while fire pit is lit is required (please do not leave them unattended in patio area in general).
Use of cedar hot tub:Spa is maintained at constant 103F. Please ensure gate is securely closed/latched at all times for the safety of others. You assume any/all risk associated with its use, including but not limited to removal and return of the spa cover.
