The Inversnaid Bunkhouse is a unique Scottish hostel in the Stirling and Loch Lomond Area with facilities catered for travellers and walkers. Complete with original stained glass windows, in a truly serene setting, this Scottish bunkhouse provides a welcoming retreat in a totally unspoilt part of Scotland. We are located at the top east corner of Loch Lomond just 800 meters from the West Highland Way and 15 scenic miles from the tourist town of Aberfoyle in the heart of the Trossachs National Park.

Terms and Conditions – Inversnaid Bunkhouse  1.     To Make ABooking Bookings can be made by telephone, email or online at ourwebsite or booking agents. Bookings are only confirmed when payment is made unless arranged and agreed in advance by the Bunkhouse team. An email booking confirmation will sent out either by the Bunkhouse, PayPal, or by the booking agent depending on which booking channel you select. 2.     ConfirmingYour Booking Bookings made through this system for youth hostels are intended for individuals or small parties to a maximum of 15 persons. The maximum duration for any hostel stage is 7 nights, whichcan be easily extended at check-in, subject to availability. The person making payment for any booking will be deemed the lead person and assumes responsibility for the accuracy of the booking, the payment details submitted and for conveying all necessary booking details and terms andconditions to the other members of the party. The booking reference number displayed at the end of the booking process oron the booking statement must be recorded and retained safely as proof ofbooking and payment.  3.     Items Included In The Price Bedding: FREE Showers: FREE Complimentary pick-up service to and from WHW subjest to availability) Drying Room: FREE Car Parking: FREE Internet/Wi-Fi  Prices quoted are in £ sterling and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (the owners are VAT registered). 5.  Items Not Included In The Price Evening Meal: BreakfastPacked Breakfast (for the early risers) Packed lunch Mini packed lunch Laundry Service: (wash and dry) Hot-Tub Session Towels.  There are circumstances when, due to maintenance, where facilitites will be closed during customer hours. The owners have no liability under these circumstances.   8.  Car Parking Car parking is available free of charge at the property entrance. 9.  Occupancy Your occupancy number cannot exceed the beds or roomspurchased without agreement from the staff team. 10.  If Problems Arise Before Your Arrival At TheBunkhouse If a problem arises with the property we will endeavour, assoon as practically possible, to inform you of this.   We cannot accept responsibility for entry to any attractionsor area amenities mentioned on the website or leaflets in the property.  These are for information purposes only. 11.  Smoking Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the property. 12.  Pets While we have a pet friendly policy it is the responsibilityof the pet’s owners to ensure that the animals present no danger to person or property. Animals should be kept under control and not be allowed on anyfurniture. Pet droppings should be cleaned up immediately. At no times should pets be left unattended in the room, unless within a cage. Pets are not permitted upstairs during meal service. Pets are not allowed in shared rooms with other customer not associated with your party. A pet surcharge of £10 is payable per night per pet. 13.  Fire Safety A fire risk assessment has been carried out at the Inversnaid Bunkhouse . Written instructions are available in all rooms re fire safety. Where possible verbal instructions will be given to all customers.While staff will help where they can it is the customers responsibility to exit the building in the event of a fire alarm. Candles or other naked flames are NOT PERMITTED anywhere in the property.     14.  Your Responsibilities While customers are not responsible for “wear and tear”repairs and maintenance, furnishings and fittings within the building must not be subjected to unreasonable damage.   You are expected to show due consideration for other people,not to abuse the property or display bad behaviour towards the staff, the neighboursor their guests.  Anti social behaviourmay result in you being evicted from the facility. It is your responsibility to check the property meets your needs.   18.  Access To The Property There may be occasions when the owners require access to theproperty to carry out essential repairs. The owners will endeavour to contact you to arrange a convenient time should this occur. Please note that your own access to the property is via arough farm track. The majority of ordinary cars are perfectly adequate for this purpose. The owners have no liability for your vehicle. If you have concerns please call us on 01877 382670 for further information. 19.  If We Cancel The owners do not expect to make any changes to your booking but occasionally changes may occur. Compensation will not be paid for minor changes.  A full refund will be given in the unlikely event that we need to cancel a booking. 

20.  BookingCancellations & refunds

Refunds incur no cancellation fee but require 2 weeks’ notice beforearrival. Arrival is deemed to be 5pm on any given day. Bookings cancelledwithin 2 weeks of arrival or after the booking arrival date will incur acancellation fee of 100%. All cancellations or refunds should be directed to the Customer Services Department. This applies only to standard hostel bookings and not to exclusive group hire. 21.  Complaints Our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible,however problems may occur.  Please report any problems straight away as they may not be able to be rectified after your holiday.  If you are dissatisfied, you must write to the owners within 14 days of your return. If you return home before reporting difficulties to the owners, theowners cannot accept any liability. 22.  Liability The owners shall have no liability for any death or personalinjury.  You must take all necessarysteps to safeguard your personal property. No liability is accepted by the owners in respect of damage to, or lossof personal property. 23.  Data Protection For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1988, the ownersare the sole data controller of all personal data provided to us from customers and prospective customers.  We will collect certain personal details from you including your name and address.  From time to time the owners may contact you by email or post for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to receive any communication, please inform the owners by email. The owners will assume that you do not object to being communicated with unless they receive notice. 24.  Force Majeure Compensation payments will not apply where the owners cannot fulfil their obligations due to circumstances beyond their control.  This would mean any event the owners cannot foresee with all due care e.g. riots, war or threat of war, terrorist activity,civil strife, natural or nuclear disaster, industrial dispute, adverse weather conditions, fire epidemic or health risk and similar factors beyond the owner’scontrol.
