Dreamboat Hostel was created to give travelers from around the globe a place to meet and hang out together in a fun & safe atmosphere. We want every guest that walks through our doors to feel welcome as if they were in their best friends living room. This is why we class ourselves as a social hostel. Situated on gorgeous Lake Atitlan in the town of Panajachel (pronounced Pana-Ha-Chel) you will enjoy views of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
We have nightly events like beer pong, karaoke, themed nights, games nights, pool parties. During these events there can be extra noise in the hostel. However, we close down all our common areas and the bar at 10pm. Ensuring everyone has the opportunity to a good nights sleep.
When you arrive in Panajachel walk down Calle Santander (the touristic main street, leading to the lake) until you turn right onto Calle Monterrey and see the Dreamboat Building, situated on your left-hand side. It is on the opposite side of a parking lot.
We offer high quality rooms, each with its ensuite bathroom, orthopedic mattresses and little shelves and power plugs for each bed. You can choose between 4 bed dorms, 6 bed dorm and private rooms.
Besides that, we offer the delicious food of our restaurant on the ground floor, that serves you breakfast and lunch.
Chill out in our rooftop pool with bar, work out, tan on the sundeck, relax on the common terrace chill area or go out and explore town and lake.

Pricing and taxes
The prices are including all taxes.
The rate for a bed in a dorm room applies to 1 person.
In a private room 1 or 2 people can be accommodated.
Group Bookings
Maximum group booking of 6. (This also includes 2 separate bookings)

Payment, Terms at Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is from 2 pm onwards. We take the full payment for booked nights at Check-In. During this process we require and governmental issued ID (DPI or Passport), as well as a key deposit of GTQ 100 per Key.
During your stay you have the option to put some of our offered services and products onto your name and pay at Check-out.
Check out is at 11 am and your balance has to be paid in its entirety. Upon returning the key, we return the deposit of GTQ 100.
For lost or damaged keys we charge a fee of 100 GTQ.
Age Restrictions
We are a fun and laidback place, serving alcoholic beverages. Therefore, we don't allow the entrance of minors (- 18 years). During the Check-In process we perform an age check.
Parking
We currently do not offer parking. However, just a few steps from our location you can find parking lots that will charge you around 70 GTQ / day, which we recommend using.
Food and Drinks
We don't allow outside drinks on the premises. We offer a shared kitchen where you can cook your own food and eat it in designated areas. We have our own in-house restaurant serving up delicious food too, if you don't want to cook yourself.
Attitude and Behavior
We pride ourselves on being an open & inclusive safe space for everyone. We do not tolerate racism, sexism, or any kind of discrimination against anyone or any kind of behavior that makes our feel uncomfortable.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 7:30 AM. We don’t allow the private use of speakers or other devices that will interrupt the ability of our guests and neighbors to rest during the night.

To the fullest extent permissible by law, the Hostel‘s liability for any loss or damage suffered by Customers shall be limited to that which arises out of the negligence of the Hostel‘s employees, subcontractors or agents. The Hostel shall not be liable for any indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by a Customers including, but not limited to, loss of income, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data or loss of enjoyment.
