Property and Cancelation Policies :
Cancellation Policy: Date of booking to 30 days before arrival : 1000 Peso 30-15 days before arrival: first night charge 15 days up to the day of arrival: full charge for accommodation.
Changes in reservation: Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Earlier departure then the reserved date may not result in a refund unless the management approve.
Buena Vida is not responsible for weather conditions. In the event, your trip is canceled (by sea, air, or road) or delayed due to weather conditions, Buena Vida Resort & Spa won't refund the reservation, totally or partially.
In the event, the port going to Malapascua is close Buena Vida won't arrange additional accommodation for those guests who couldn't reach the island.
In the event, the guests book the private transfer going from Cebu to Malapascua or vice-versa, Buena Vida is responsible just for the transfer, any forced stop due to weather conditions that imply additional accommodation won't be refunded by Buena Vida. Buena Vida will resume the transfer as soon as the weather conditions go back to normal and safe status, or the port is opened by the Coast Guard.
Buena Vida highly recommends to its guests to have travel insurance with coverage for the potential cancellations due to weather conditions.
Please, bear in mind that these situations happen a few times a year, not being a usual issue when you travel to Malapascua.

Terms and Conditions
Check-in: 2pm on the arrival date.
Check out: 12 pm on the day of the departure. Early check in and /or late check out by arrangement.
Changes in Reservation Term: Any reservation changes will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extensions of booking are subject to room availability. Early departure may not result in a refund unless approved by hotel management.
Smoking: All Buena Vida Rooms are Non Smoking rooms. In case someone has been smoking inside the room there will be an additional cleaning charge of 2000Php.
General: Maximum 3 persons in each room.
Visitors are permitted at management discretion and must be registered at the reception.
The registered guest is responsible for the behavior of all persons/visitors while on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behavior resulting in loss of income to the hotel,will be charged to the registered guest.
The keycard has to be removed when leaving the room.
Lost key will be charged 2000Php.
