Since 1937, Historic Wigwam Village No. 2 in Cave City, Kentucky has offered travelers a rare piece of Americana. Whether you've come for hiking and a cave adventure, or you are just passing through, Historic Wigwam Village No, 2 is the perfect place to rekindle your joy for family time, car trips and all things Americana. Historic Wigwam Village No. 2 is one of only three surviving Wigwam Villages in the United States, enduring as a testament to a time past — but with modern conveniences.

Every room at Historic Wigwam Village No. 2 comes with heat and air conditioning, a ceiling fan, cable TV, high-speed wireless internet, a coffee maker, luggage rack, and yes, a bathroom! Historic Wigwam Village No. 2 offers two room types: singles with one full-size bed that sleep two adults or perhaps two adults and a small child and doubles with two full-size beds for four adults or two adults and possibly three small children. We still have the original beds and dressing tables created by the Columbus Hickory Furniture Co. almost a century ago, and our graphic tile in the bathrooms is all original.

Outdoor amenities include comfortable,Amish-made wooden lawn chairs, picnic tables with lights and electricity, charcoal grills, an outdoor dining room, an ice machine and our signature attraction - our large lawn with throw-back playground equipment and stone fire pits.

Your stay at Historic Wigwam Village No. 2 is helping to preserve a piece of American history. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 and now is is undergoing a five-year, $500,000 restoration, sanctioned by the U.S. Department of Interior, to return every architectural and landscape feature to its original condition. Guests are encouraged to observe the restorations and ask questions about this historic American roadside attraction. Rest easy! Restoration activities will not disrupt your stay.

Are there bathrooms in the teepees?
Yes! Think of the wigwams as little hotel rooms in a cone-shaped body.

Is there heat and air conditioning?
Yes! Every guest room has a heater and an air conditioner.

Do you allow pets?
Yes! We will collect a small pet fee based on the size of your pet. We collect it at check-in.

What time is check-in?
Our office is open for check-ins from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Central time. Please let us know if you need us to stay open late for you.

What time is check-out?
11 a.m. You can lock the key in your room and get moving on your next adventure.

What is your cancellation policy?
All reservations require a $35/per room /per night nonrefundable deposit. If you cancel before check-in, you will not get this payment refunded. If you cancel after check-in at 3 p.m. or don't show up, you will be charged the first night's stay.

What if there is a mistake in my reservation?
We offer a 24-hour grace period after you make your reservation to modify or cancel your reservation free-of-charge, no-questions-asked. Be sure to read your confirmation! Sometimes guests observe that if they click on the back button when reserving online, the dates change back to the current day. If this happens to you, call us at 1-833-WIGWAMS and we'll correct it.

Can I change my reservation later?
Call us at 1-833-WIGWAMS to request changes to your reservation. We will need to confirm availability and rates for any requested changes.

If I cannot make it, can you apply my payments to a future stay?
Sorry, we cannot. But if you sign up for our mailing list you will become a member of an exclusive group of Wigwam Village No. 2 supporters. The value is priceless!

Is the gift shop open?
Sadly, the gift shop was allowed to fall into too much disrepair to be open to the public. It is the first building slated for repairs in our preservation plan, and it will be a coffee shop in its next life! You can buy Wigwam gifts online at historicwigwamvillage.com/shop. .

PART 1: RESERVATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL PROVISIONSYour reservation and the accommodation agreement made with Wigwam Village No. 2, LLC, dba Historic Wigwam Village, (whether made by you directly with Historic Wigwam Village or via a third party such as a travel agent) will be subject to these Reservation Terms and Conditions and the Reservation Privacy Policy set out below.When you make your reservation, whether online or by telephone, you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these Reservation Terms and Conditions and the Reservation Privacy Policy.If you make your reservation via a travel agent, or other third party, then you have a separate legal relationship with that party and Wigwam Village No. 2, LLC ("Historic Wigwam Village") has no liability for any acts or omissions of such party including their observance of your data protection rights.When you make your reservation, you will be also deemed to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions for using the Historic Wigwam Village website (which shall mean https://historicwigwamvillage.com or any related web pages accessible from it) and any relevant terms and conditions shall be deemed to be incorporated into your reservation and the accommodation agreement with the Historic Wigwam Village motel. Wigwam Village No. 2, LLC is the owner and manager of Historic Wigwam Village motel of Cave City, Kentucky. Guests may choose to use third-party reservation websites to reserve and pay for services provided by Historic Wigwam Village, and as your reservation and the accommodation agreement is made directly with the Historic Wigwam Village motel and not your choice of third-party travel or reservation website, Wigwam Village No. 2, LLC retains the sole discretion of honoring any and all reservations referred to us by third-party reservation services.All information regarding rooms, facilities, products and services offered at the Historic Wigwam Village motels contained on the Historic Wigwam Village website has been provided by Historic Wigwam Village motel. Historic Wigwam Village makes representations and warranties, expressly or implied, only reservations made on our website (https://historicwigwamvillage.com), by voice or text (1-833-WIGWAMS), or confirmed in person at time of check-in. Any representation or warranty outside of these limitations may be inaccurate as a result of renovation or repair at the Historic Wigwam Village motel or due to typographical errors or  omissions.Wigwam Village shall not be liable to you for:(i) the accuracy or completeness of any Historic Wigwam Village motel information provided to you through third-party reservation services including, without limitation, the availability or price of rooms, facilities, products or services, or for any other errors or omissions of Historic Wigwam Village motels; or(ii) any failure or delay beyond its control in the transmission of any data submitted to or through third-party reservation services including, but not limited to, the details of your reservation or changes to or cancellation of your reservation, in each case to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws.RESERVATIONS PROCEDURE AND POLICIES1. Online reservationsThird-party reservation services, the Historic Wigwam Village website (https://historicwigwamvillage.com), and voice or text reservation services (1-833-WIGWAMS) enable you to check the accommodation offerings and availability of Historic Wigwam Village motel (and related products and services), and then submit an online or telephone reservation request. On completion of the reservation process, each reservation source will transmit an online or email confirmation of your reservation or provide a verbal confirmation of your reservation number. A reservation is only valid when a reservation number has been issued. Relevant details relating to products and services must be confirmed by you directly with the Historic Wigwam Village motel including, for example, tent camping add-ons.2. Motel PricesThe prices indicated on the Historic Wigwam Village website and telephone facility for the Historic Wigwam Village motel rooms, products and services are subject to availability. Continental breakfast is only included if indicated in the rate policy. Taxes and service charges are only included if indicated in the rate policy.3. PaymentIt will be necessary for you to provide credit card details to secure a room, product or service reservation. The credit card may then be used by the Historic Wigwam Village motel for payment of a deposit as advised at the time of booking or as a guarantee for a future payment, in the case of a no-show, a cancellation or change to the reservation.4. Cancellations and AmendmentsYou should make any cancellations or amendments to your reservation using the same Historic Wigwam Village channel through which you booked, either online or by telephone. The cancellations and amendments policy that applies to your reservation will depend on the respective Historic Wigwam Village motel's policy as advised at the time of booking.5. Rate/Reservation ValidityReservation confirmations are provided to you solely for your convenience. Historic Wigwam Village retains official records of reservation transactions, including details of dates of stay and room, product and service rates. In the event of discrepancies, alterations, modifications, or variations between this confirmation and our official records, Historic Wigwam Village’s official records shall prevail. Tampering with this confirmation to alter any room, product or service rate or any other reservation information is strictly prohibited and will have legal consequences.6. Early DepartureHistoric Wigwam Village has an early departure penalty fee and some room, product and service rates may also require a minimum stay. You may change your check out date without a penalty only if your rate and the Historic Wigwam Village motel’s policy permits.7. CurrencyReservations will be charged in the motel’s local currency as shown on the Historic Wigwam Village website or given over the telephone at the time of booking. The price shown is based on today’s exchange rate. Any currency conversion is for guidance only. A foreign currency transaction may be charged by your card provider. Any deposits or pre-payments will be deducted from the final reservation invoice in the motel’s local currency.A refund of a deposit or prepayment, if any, will be subject to the exchange rate applied by your payment card provider at the time of any such refund and may differ from the exchange rate applied at the time such deposit or prepayment was made.8. Rate RequirementsAs some rates have special requirements at check-in, you should verify that you qualify for the rate that you have reserved. Historic Wigwam Village is not obligated to honor this rate if you do not qualify or do not have proof of qualification.9. Pre-paid ReservationsSome rate plans require prepayment in full and are non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-changeable and non-transferable. This will be identified in the rate description. For these rate plans, once you make a reservation your credit card will be charged for the full amount. Credit will not be given for any unused reservation and the amount paid by you for such reservation cannot be used toward any other/future reservation.10. Guarantee RulesFor reservations guaranteed with a credit card at the time of making your reservation, rooms are held until the Historic Wigwam Village motel check-out time on the day following the day of arrival. The Historic Wigwam Village motel may authorize the room, product or service rate prior to arrival and reserve funds, including taxes, on the credit card to determine the validity of the credit card. Rooms, products or services booked with an invalid credit card are subject to immediate cancellation.11. OverbookingIn the event that a guest cannot be accommodated due to the Historic Wigwam Village motel overbooking or an unforeseen circumstance, the Historic Wigwam Village motel will attempt to accommodate guests, at its expense, at a comparable property in the area for the night(s) for which the Historic Wigwam Village motel is unable to accommodate such guests, and will pay for transportation to that property.12. Special RequestsHistoric Wigwam Village motels will strive to honor any request for specific rooms or beds. Until specific confirmation is issued then your request cannot be guaranteed and Historic Wigwam Village motel cannot guarantee that your request will be honored.13. PetsHistoric Wigwam Village welcomes pets and assumes no responsibility or liability for pets accompanying our guests. Pets entering the grounds and/or guest rooms must be registered. Guests are responsible for all damages caused by their pets. 14. External servicesHistoric Wigwam Village may advertise the opportunity to purchase products or services from independent third party suppliers (“independent suppliers”) including, by way of illustration only and without limitation, excursions, kayak charters and cave passes (“external services”). The following provisions apply to all external services:(i) All information on the Historic Wigwam Village website or otherwise communicated by Historic Wigwam Village regarding external services has been provided to Historic Wigwam Village by the independent suppliers. Such information does not constitute any endorsement or recommendation of the external service by Historic Wigwam Village and is for general guidance only. Historic Wigwam Village makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the nature, quality, cost or any other aspect of the external services. It is your responsibility to check all relevant details of the external services with the independent supplier prior to purchase or booking.(ii) Historic Wigwam Village acts solely as an intermediary introducing independent suppliers. Your contract for any external services will be made direct with the relevant independent supplier. Historic Wigwam Village has no other involvement in or control over the provision of external services. Consequently, Historic Wigwam Village will have no liability to you for the warranties, representations, acts, errors, omissions, breaches or negligence of any independent supplier or for any accidents, personal injuries, death, loss of or damage to property or any other losses, damages, costs or expenses resulting, directly or indirectly, from your purchase or use of any external service, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws.It is your responsibility to check that, where appropriate, the independent supplier has adequate public liability insurance for the external service and/or to ensure that you and any dependents or associates using the external service have adequate personal insurance cover against all foreseeable risks.15. Guest’s obligationsYou agree to the terms and conditions of purchase imposed by Historic Wigwam Village. You also agree that you are fully responsible and shall pay for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, assessments and other amounts arising out of your reservation when due, including additional taxes and fees that may not be included in the quoted rate.You understand that any violation of an Historic Wigwam Village motel’s terms and conditions may result in cancellation of your reservation and you forfeiting any monies paid for such reservation and an Historic Wigwam Village motel debiting your account for any costs it incurs as a result of such violation.16. Privacy and data protectionOur Reservation Privacy Policy (set out below) will apply to your reservation and forms part of these Reservation Terms and Conditions.17. Intellectual Property Rights‘Historic Wigwam Village’ and “Wigwam Village No. 2” have trademark protection. Any copyright and other intellectual property in the content and materials on the Historic Wigwam Village website remains with Historic Wigwam Village. Downloading, copying or otherwise using any material on the Historic Wigwam Village website is permitted only for private use and limited to the sole purpose of making an Historic Wigwam Village motel reservation.18. Force MajeureHistoric Wigwam Village will not be liable for any change or cancellation of any reservation that is caused, in whole or in part, by events, occurrences, or causes beyond the control of Historic Wigwam Village. Such events, occurrences, or causes include, without limitation, acts of God, pandemics, epidemics, terrorist activities, weather, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, earthquake, volcanic activity, ash clouds, tsunamis, fire and explosions.19. LimitationsHistoric Wigwam Village is not responsible for communication malfunctions, failures, difficulties or lost, stolen, or misdirected transmissions, messages or entries, or the security of any such communications to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws. Further, Historic Wigwam Village is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by user(s), by any of the equipment or programming associated with the reservations platforms, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of any information related to the reservations platforms and shall not be liable for damages resulting from any of the foregoing to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws.Historic Wigwam Village may cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a user has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.20. Governing LawThese Reservation Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Kentucky, USA and the courts of Kentucky, USA shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute in relation thereto.21. PART 2: RESERVATION PRIVACY POLICY

This Reservation Privacy Policy provides you with information about the personal data Historic Wigwam Village collects in connection with the reservation at Historic Wigwam Village motel, why we need to collect it, how it will be used, who it will be shared with and your rights in relation to it. The personal data Historic Wigwam Village collectsIn order to complete your reservation and arrange its fulfilment Historic Wigwam Village needs to collect the following personal data as part of the reservation process:
  • your first and last name;
  • your email address;
  • your country of residence
  • details of your payment card including the card number, cardholder name, expiry date and CVV number.
You may also, if you wish, provide Historic Wigwam Village with:
  • your postal address (home or business);
  • your mobile phone number while traveling;
  • preferred contact telephone number.
The personal data you provide Historic Wigwam Village in the course of the reservation process will be referred to in this Reservation Privacy Policy as the Reservation Data. How Historic Wigwam Village uses the Reservation DataHistoric Wigwam Village will be the data controller of the Reservation Data.It is necessary for Historic Wigwam Village to process the Reservation Data so that the contract for your motel reservation can be fulfilled and to take all necessary steps including transmitting the Reservation Data to the Historic Wigwam Village based in the United States. Historic Wigwam Village may appoint a third party (either within or outside the United States) to process the Reservation Data.In relation to any transfers of the Reservation Data outside the United States necessary to complete and fulfil the reservation, Historic Wigwam Village has put in place all necessary legal, technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection of the Reservation Data, details of which can be obtained on request from Historic Wigwam Village (contact@historicwigwamvillage.com).Historic Wigwam Village will only share the Reservation Data with its appointed data processors.On receipt of the Reservation Data the Historic Wigwam Village motel will become a data controller of the Reservation Data and will use it for all purposes necessary to fulfil your reservation including contacting you prior to your stay.  Historic Wigwam Village will not use the Reservation Data for any purpose other than fulfilling your reservation and will need your specific consent to use it for any other purpose. Your rightsYou have the following rights in relation to the Reservation Data:
  • to request access to the Reservation Data by an email request to (contact@historicwigwamvillage.com);
  • to request that the Reservation Data be amended or deleted although that may mean your reservation cannot be fulfilled.

PART 3: THE HISTORIC WIGWAM VILLAGE SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please note, motel accommodation payments, including all rates, taxes and fees, must be paid in full at the time of check-in. Reservations are secured with a $35 non-refundable deposit fee for every room reserved. We are happy to cancel your room reservation(s) up until 3pm Central Time on the day of your arrival with no further charges above the non-refundable $35 deposit fee per room. We are happy to waive the cancellation terms and refund your deposit only if canceled within the first 24 hours of booking. There are no exceptions to our policy for the waiver of non-refundable deposit fees. Guests who do not cancel or who are no shows by 2am Central Time the date following their  arrival will be charged the total room rates, taxes and fees of their reservation. Discount Offers cannot be combined with any other promotion and only apply to bookings made within the promotional period. Discount Offers cannot be applied on existing bookings. Discount offers are strictly subject to motel availability during the promotional period and may be withdrawn by Historic Wigwam Village at any time before the advertised book by time and date.
