Located on a pedestrian street near some of the most iconic places in the city, Viajero CDMX – Downtown occupies a +100+ year old building that was first built as a “vecindad”, a residential unit bilding, now converted into a hostel designed to honor Mexican culture. If you like history, culture and art, at Viajero CDMX – Downtown is where you need to be.
We are also very passionate about love. We are located right in front of the old “Colegio de San Ildefonso”, where Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera first met. You can visit Palacio de Bellas Artes, Zócalo, the Cathedral, the Templo Mayor, La Alameda Park, and much more just walking a few steps from the hostel.
After a long day of sightseeing, we will be waiting for you at the hostel with a variety of food and drink options so you can relax on the patio and meet other Viajeros. And, if remote work is what you do, we have adapted spaces so you can attend a meeting or take a call with your friends.
If you come with a group of friends, and want to stay all in the same room, you can do it in dorms with 8, 10, 12 or 14 beds in bunk beds. Or if you prefer a little more privacy, we have private rooms so you can relax after a day in the city or before heading out to enjoy the nightlife.
