Inclusions—One, two or all
three standard-size guest rooms, down-stuffed, pillow-top queen beds,
each comfortably accommodating two persons (6 guests max), plush bedding,
three bathing rooms (one private with whirlpool tub, one full bath and one
half bath), beautifully historic living room galleria, grand dining room,
morning/TV room, access to full kitchen (cooking not permitted on stove
top), private backyard deck and scenic front balcony, plus amenities,

Property and Cancelation Policies :
Certainly aware that life happens and plans do change. Free cancellations/refundable deposits within 24 hours of reservation; afterwards, deposits are nonrefundable; though transferable. No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days/2 weeks of check-in; if you must cancel, let me know and, based on availability during a non-peak period, I will make every effort to reschedule your stay (within one year). NOTE: No shows, cancellations (within 14 days/2 weeks of reservations), late check-ins and early check-outs are responsible for full payment of the reservation; accordingly, your credit card will be charged at the time of cancellation for the balance of your stay.

GUEST POLICIES
Deposit / Payments—A minimum deposit of half (50%) is required at time of reservation with the remaining 50% balance (including applicable taxes, fees and requested services) to be charged to your credit card on file up to 14 days/2 weeks prior to your arrival. Deposit/Payment for all guest rooms and services may be made via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or ATM Bank/Debit Card. Alternatively, you may pay by CashApp, Zelle, Venmo and Square (pay by phone), as well, I accept Cashier's/Traveler’s Checks and Money Orders. NO Cash, NO Checks and NO Virtual Currency accepted. A reminder to ensure to bring with you a valid credit card and photo ID.
Booking.com: Reservations made through Booking.com are emailed/contacted directly and provided a payment link for payment of the full amount due 14 days/2 weeks prior to your arrival/check-in. Full payment is due BEFORE your arrival.
VRBO: For reservations made through VRBO, reservation payments are collected at time of reservation by VRBO.
Airbnb: For reservations made through Airbnb, full reservation payments are collected at time of reservation by Airbnb.
Payment Arrangements: With a nonrefundable deposit of 25%, monthly payment arrangements are available with the full balance due no later than up to 14 days/2 weeks prior to your arrival/check-in. Contact Mariby at 301.455.4144 or info@MaribyCorpening.com.
Security Deposit—A $250 Refundable Security Deposit/Credit Card Hold and Photo ID are required, along with any remaining balance (e.g., services) and due at the time of check-in. The security deposit is a hold only and will be released within 7 days of your departure, as long as there are no property damages.
Minimum / Maximum Stay—From season to season, two (2) night minimum may be required on weekends (Fri-Sat) for individual rooms ONLY; rental of the full house requires one (1) night minimum stay; maximum stay is 7 days.
Maximum Number of Guests—For full-house overnight stay, three (3) queen beds, accommodating up to six (6) guests are available; though, up to four (4) additional guests are allowed to stay at $75/guest/night, as twin/full air mattresses are permissible—10 guests max. Non-registered guests who stay overnight will incur charge to the responsible party.
Reservation Requirements—As the responsible party, you must be 25 years or older to make a reservation. For security and insurance purposes—after booking, the responsible party must provide the names and contact information of all guests who will be staying overnight/checking in—prior to check-in arrival.
Venue Contract Required—If you will be utilizing my home for anything other than an overnight stay (with non-overnight guests), you will not only be charged a fee, but also, you’ll be required to and hereby agree to the terms, to review, sign and submit a Venue Contract in advance to your arrival.

Waiver of Liability—As guests in my home, you agree to release and hold harmless the host(s), the staff, the subcontractors / suppliers, the property, the landlords, the business(s) and the owner(s) of MaribyCorpening d/b/a Private Stay ByMadlyGiving, no matter the cause or negligence.
Exclusive Use—Guests should know that rental of a guest room does NOT imply nor suggest EXCLUSIVE USE to my home, as I may have other overnight guests, and/or one of my many popular dining experiences (which may or may not include registered overnight guests) may be scheduled during your stay—and, if so, I will inform you. NOTE Exclusive Use of my home may be reserved to include all three rooms AND corresponding meeting/brunch/dinner/tea party dining experience at additional charge and by reservation only.
NOT Permitted—Parties, Events, Children (under 13), Pets, Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Weapons. I require strict adherence; otherwise, a $500 fee will be charged, you may face immediate nonrefundable cancellation of your reservation.
Security—24-HOUR Security Cameras in outside spaces ONLY!
Car / Uber Transportation Necessary—Please don’t be deceived by the close proximity on maps; while I am minutes/.2 miles literally in the backyard of National Harbor—a gated community, there is no rear access point; so, depending on where at the Harbor you’re going, you must drive (3-8 minutes) the long way around; so, car/Uber Transportation is necessary.
