Reservations: Bookings can be made Online, by writing to info@hostalbc.com, over the Phone (+34 931 77 12 07) or in person with our reception team at the hotel. You agree that you may only make reservations for yourself and your invited guests, and you must not make reservations for the purpose of reselling, posting, advertising or marketing reservation information through third-party websites or other means, or any false, fraudulent or speculative reservations. If you, or through any third party or agency, need to book on behalf of one or more proposed guests, you must make the reservation directly through our reception. Change of guest name of any reservation is not allowed unless there are any special circumstances deemed acceptable by our booking team. The hotel has the right to reject any guest from checking-in if the guest name is different from the name as stated on the reservation. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the reservation you made in its sole discretion without notice if it appears that any reservation has been made in breach of the above terms or involve any abuse of the reservation service. The rates include VAT and breakfast. City tax is extra 5,50€ per person/night and will be charged extra at the time of check-in. Please contact us in advance to make requests about specific rooms types via info@hostalbc.com.
Payment: We accept most credit cards and debit cards. We do not accept Diners Club. When checking in you will be asked to provide us with a credit card and be charged the full stay (room & tax) at the time of check-in. For standard rates, we will authorize your credit card for the 1st night at the time of booking.
City Tax: There is an additional city tax of 5,50€ per person/per night that will be charged at the time of check in. In the event of early departure, you will be granted a full refund for the city tax.
VAT is included in the price
If you intend to pay for someone’s stay and will not be checking-in to show the payment card, a request must be sent by email via info@hostalbc.com.
Check-in and Check-out: You can check–in from 2pm and check-out is at 11am. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave your luggage in our storage room. Our reception team will be there with a smile and provide some tips on where to get a good coffee and lunch! If you arrive before or after the reception hours please notify us in advance so that we can arrange for you to collect your room key. However, let us know if you plan to arrive after 6pm so we do not cancel your booking.
Make sure to bring a valid identification with you, preferably a passport or government issued National Identity card. We are unable to check anyone in without this, so make sure to pack your ID!
Late check out: If you need to stay past 11am/noon please check with reception to see if a late check is possible and until what time. Extra charges may apply. You can hang out in our lounge area after checking-out if you love the place and want to stay with us a little bit longer, under reception discretion.
Changes / Cancellation conditions (special Terms and Conditions apply to a group booking): A change can be made to your reservation until 12pm, seven (7) days before your arrival. After that time no changes can be made. If you need to change the dates of your booking contact our reservation team via info@hostalbc.com or directly on +34 931 77 12 07. Changes of dates are subject to availability and rate differences may apply. If you book via another website, the changes before arrival may have to be done directly with the agent. All cancellations can only be made by email directly to info@hostalbc.com. Please check the conditions of the rate you have selected. For flexible bookings, cancellations can me made up to seven (7) days prior to arrival by 11:59 hours (local time). After that time, the 1st night will be charged. For non-refundable rates, the full amount will be charged at the time of reservation and is not refundable. Please also note that for group bookings, different policies may apply and the standard cancellation policy does not apply to group booking. Refunds will be made by the same method the payments were made and to the specific card used at the time of the booking. No Show: If you fail to arrive for your stay, you will be charged for the full stay.
Property rules: Hostal Barcelona Centro is 100% smoke-free. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the hotel. Should it be brought to our attention smoking has taken place, a cleaning fee of 200€ will be assessed. Guest will be asked to leave the premises immediately. A refund will not be issued. Customers are required to conduct themselves in a reasonable and responsible manner and must not act in any way which may disturb other guests. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in customers being asked to leave the property in which event all additional charges shall become immediately payable by the customers. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be asked to leave the property premises. Guest are expected to respect other guests as well as staff and property. The customer will be responsible for any loss or damage caused at the hotel.
Personal Property: Each room has a safe for valuables. It is a guest’s responsibility to ensure that personal belongings are secure at all times.Hostal Barcelona Centro accepts no liability for the loss, theft or damage to guests’ property, however sustained or caused.
