Terms and Conditions
We are a small resort and do not have a reception area. We operate on an AirBNB model with summer onsite staff from June-August and outside those months, have local staff that live within 5 minutes of the resort for any emergencies. We are always available through our business phone number. You can check-in any time after 3PM. When you arrive, park in front of your cabin parking sign and unpack.
**Our Cabins are secured with a keyless code entry. Your keyless code is 6376.
Check-out is at 10 am, not 10:15 or 10:30. This is important to abide by due to fast turnovers to prepare your cabin for the next guest at 3 pm. You can stay on the property after checkout, but all personal items need to be out of your cabin before 10 am. Please don’t make it awkward for the staff and be out prior to 10 am. Thank you in advance! ;)
Payment
The balance of the full cabin rental amount will be charged to your card on file the day you checkout. Reservations should be prepaid with Visa, MasterCard, American Express.
Things To Do
Please check-out our website for any trip planning needs such as local restaurants, antique shops and more.
Smoking Policy:
Breathe easy. The Hideaway is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking pipe and cigarette methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $150 room cleaning fee. Smoking outside is to be considerate of all guests and at least a 20 feet distance from all cabins and guests that are enjoying the outdoors. Smoking is not prohibited on the patio next to the Tiny Cabin.
Extending Your Stay
After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive.
If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check- out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to a similar cabin should this be necessary.
Pet Policy
Are we pet friendly? You bet! A maximum of two pets are allowed per cabin (Cozy, Lakeview, Front Porch and Tiny. The main Lake House does not allow pets. We have a $65 Fido fee per dog. Just make sure you pick up after your furry friends after they do their business and stay on a leash when outside the cabin. Pets cannot be left unattended in cabins at any time. Should your pet cause property or item damage, an incidental fee will be charged at market value to your credit card on file. No cats or venomous creatures.
Parking
Vacations should be stress-free and for that reason, you get to park right in front of your cabin (or super close) in front of the specified cabin parking sign. By parking a vehicle at our facility, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. The resort does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
Lawyer Speak
Safety cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded. The resort assumes no responsibility for any personal bodily injury incurred while using the resort amenities, where available. If you use the resort amenities such as paddle boards, fishing boats and kayaks, you do so at your own risk.
