Beaches, city center, train station, snack bars, pubs, supermarket, everything you need far from 5! Looking for adventures? You're also in the right place. Private and group Surf and SUP classes are available. Want to know the secrets of Sintra parks from a different perspective with an ecologic walking? Come and let's do it! Need transfer from the airport? Not a problem, we have certified partners to pick you up anytime. Small groups city tours or even a customized one if you want!

Surf & Sup Packages and individual bookings - Cancellations, Modifications & Deposits
- Your credit card will be charged the 50% deposit or pre-authorized up to to the same amount. If pre-authorized, the deposit will only be charged, if you decide to cancel your booking within the 7 days prior to your arrival. If the booking is a No-Show, the full amount will be charged to your card. Remaining balance can be paid at check-in.
- Modifying the arrival/departure date (+/- days ) for a booking less than 7 days prior to the original booked date: 100% of the value of the first night of your reservation fee will be charged.
- Bookings are fixed within 7 days prior to arrival, any changes within this time will incur a fee: 100% of the value of the first night of your reservation.
- In the event of a “no-show“ the remainder of your reservation will be canceled automatically and the full amount of the booking will be charged.
- There are no refunds offered when requesting an earlier check-out date after you have already checked-in.
- There are no refunds on any unused activities that are included in your package. Injury or sickness can occur but that is the responsibility of each guest which can be handled with good travel insurance.

- Less than four weeks prior to arrival: 50%
- Less than 1 week prior to arrival: 100%

Bookings can be made thru our direct booking app on our Facebook page or can be made in writing to f3hostel@gmail.com or by phone. If booking by email, please include all necessary details for us to ensure maximum efficiency. We will confirm your booking within one business day. For group bookings, we require a minimum 4 weeks advance notice, prior to arrival and a confirmed name list must be sent by this date.
Terms of payment:
The F3 Hostel Cascais requires all bookings to be secured with a deposit of 50% or credit card details which will be pre-authorised before your arrival. The remaining booking balance will be paid at check-in with either cash or credit card. Pre-Authorised credit cards will only be charged the deposit amount before arrival, if you choose to cancel within 7 days prior to arrival or the full charge if its a No-Show.
Please note all credit card payments at check-in incur a 3% surcharge fee ( There is an ATM bank machine located just 20m away from F3 Hostels )
Force majeure:
We cannot accept any liability where the booking could not be fulfilled due to circumstances which we could not, even with due care, have foreseen or avoided. Such events may include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, civil commotion or strife, hostilities, natural disaster, fire, act of God, terrorist activities, technical problems with transportation, flight cancellations, closures of airports, ports and/or ferries, quarantine, epidemics, weather conditions, government action or other events outside our control.
Other:
F3 Hostels Cascais reserves the right to modify its rates for economic purposes, such as fluctuations in currency, inflation, or an increase in supplier costs. Any changes in rates will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed by F3 Hostels Cascais. In the event that F3 Hostels Cascais, under exceptional circumstances, is unable to provide the guest with the agreed rooms on arrival, F3 Hostels Cascais will provide a room of equal or superior quality at no extra charge. This shall be done with the permission of the guest.
Tourism tax:
The city tourism tax is €1 per guest per day up to 7 nights total. This amount will not be added to your invoice until you pay your remaining balance at check-in.

Latest check-out time: 12:00 pm
** Check-ins arriving after 22:00pm are only accepted with prior notice by email or phone call. ( Reception closes at 22:00pm without prior notice )
Personal property:
Guests may use secure lockers, however, it remains the guest's responsibility to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times. F3 Hostels Cascais accepts no liability for the loss, theft or damage to property however sustained or caused.
Age restriction:
Bookings usually cannot be accepted from any person under the age of 16. However, under special request, we may be able to accommodate children depending on the season and property capacity. Children under 16 may only sleep in the same room as the parent and can only be in private room accommodation. We reserve the right to refuse any booking if you arrive with young children with no prior consent.
Guest behavior:
The comfort, safety, and security of our guests is of paramount importance to F3 Hostels Cascais. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests or any staff - will be requested to leave the hostel and will only be offered a refund at our discretion. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, and property. In the case of groups, the group leaders must ensure that all members of their group behave in an acceptable manner and follow local laws. Failure of any individual group member to do so will result in the expulsion of the whole group and loss of deposits.
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside our building, bedrooms or dormitories. We do however provide our guests with the exclusive use of our outdoor patio and garden, where smoking is permitted and ashtrays are provided. Any guest found smoking within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund.
Pets:
No allowed.
Discretion:
All bookings are subject to availability and F3 Hostels Cascais reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at its discretion.
