CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
Check in is at 3:00pm and check out is at 11:00am. Your room codes are active and able to be used during that window of time only, for the duration of your stay.
Should the room not be vacated after 11am on the intended day of departure and there is no prior agreement with management, we reserve the right to charge an additional night’s accommodation including taxes.
We use a unique code for each of our guests. This code will allow you access to the Front Door of the house and for your room only. When you arrive your code will be the last four digit of your REFERENCE NUMBER. For the front door as well as the room locks, touch the YALE button to wake the key pad up. To gain entry, you will need to enter the code then touch the check mark (bottom right) to complete the process. The front door is original to the house, please be ready to push the on the handle and jiggle if needed. Please be sure to lock the doors behind you when you leave the house, you will do this by simply making sure that the door is shut and touching the YALE button. Please do this every time you exit. Once you have entered the house or your room it is a simple turn knob to lock the door.
YOUR ROOM is listed in the reservation details in this email., All rooms are clearly identified by the copper plaque on the door and are located on the second floor. Please note that the Lumber Room is at the back of the house down a small corridor.
As of March 2022, the Hygrade Inn will begin providing breakfast for guests. Breakfast is served between the hours of 8:00-10:00am unless prior arrangements are made.
Overnight parking is only permitted on the Hygrade Inn side of the road on EVEN days (2am- 6am) Overnight Parking on the opposite side of the road is for ODD days (2am-6am) Please be sure to refer to the sign concerning parking, located in front of the Hygrade Inn so that you are not ticketed for overnight parking.
We have Wifi available for our guests for their stay with us. Please connect to the Hygrade Guest network and you will find the Passcode on the bedside table to the left of your bed, in the top left corner.
ROOM MAKE UP
The Hygrade Inn freshens rooms daily in the late morning. We will empty your garbage, check that you have fresh towels and make up the bed. If we see a DO NOT DISTURB door hanger, we will respect your privacy.
Common areas are for the enjoyment of all our guests. You are welcome to use any of the seating areas, including our front porch.
GIFT CERTIFICATES / GIFT CARDS
Gift certificates do not expire. Certificates may be used online at HygradeInn.com or in-person. If you do not receive your certificate via email, please check your "junk" / "spam" folder or email us at email@example.com for assistance. Gift certificates are available for any amount from $50 plus, but have no cash value (value is for goods and / or services at The Hygrade Inn only).
The Hygrade Inn is a non-smoking facility and smoking anywhere inside the property is forbidden. We will offer an outside smoking area or areas upon request. Smoking leaves residual odor damage requiring full cleaning of all drapes and soft furnishings and we reserve the right to levy charges of up to $1,000 to cover deep cleaning costs in the event of unauthorized smoking. This policy is to protect the comfort, health and safety of all guests.
We are unable to host children under the age of 16.
We are unable to accommodate pets. Should your cats or dog insist on traveling with you, we will be pleased to seek appropriate accommodation at a nearby kennel.
SERVICE ANIMALS - Bona-fide service dogs providing services for the disabled as defined by the Department of Justice are of course welcome. We would, of course, appreciate prior notice. We may ask if the dog is required because of a disability and inquire what work or task has the dog been trained to perform. The animal must be house-trained. Guest is responsible for keeping the animal under full control at all times. Further, as for any extraordinary wear and tear (see below) the guest will be assessed incremental cleaning and / or replacement charge in the event of damage or soiling.
The Inn is a romantic retreat located in the church district. We ask that you respect the environment and fellow guests.
EXTRAORDINARY WEAR AND TEAR
In the event of damage to rooms or property, or in cases of extraordinary wear and tear or soiling, we reserve the right to assess incremental cleaning and / or replacement charges. Charges will be assessed at our cost and at our discretion. This is to ensure that we preserve the integrity of the property.
If you fail to check-in by 9.00 pm on the day of your reservation and have not earlier contacted us(email or voice mail) the booking will be deemed a no-show. The room will be offered for immediate re-booking at that time. In the event of a no-show, the outstanding balance for the whole length of stay as booked will be immediately charged in full to the credit card on file. We will then seek to re-book the room for any additional nights (beyond the first night) of the original reservation, if necessary offering last minute discounts. If successful, we will credit the card of record for any gross room receipts after discounts for the additional nights that exceed the retained deposit minus any last minute promotional expense that may be incurred.
NO SHOW FOR COMPLIMENTARY BOOKINGS - The complimentary offer will be deemed null and void and the reservation will be charged at the full rate for the nights that were booked as though it were a no-show for a regular paid reservation.
